was I dreaming when I heard there was going to be a Farmer's market in the Marina?Local fruits, veggies, et al? The Souk al Bahar Farmers Market has started again in a new venue! Fridays 9am - 2pm in the gardens opposite the Ballroom entrance at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. It started last week and will go on to the end of the season (about early May). It's a lovely setting under the shade of the Palm Trees with the birds singing and surrounded by flowers, parking is free in the Ballroom car park. Don't go to the hotel, go around the parimeter and the Ballroom car park is signposted. Lots of lovely fruit, veg, eggs, bread cakes, beans, pulses, honey, rice....all locally grown and freshly picked, and much of it is organic. Will definately be buying my produce here every week!

Does anyone know when this Farmer's Market will reopen? Hopefully they are already open and this weekend we can go back. I can't wait to buy my fresh vegetables there again..... They are having a street party in the Boulevard at Emirates Towers...afternoon tea on 2nd June with lots of entertainment. I think they will be advertising it soon :-) Just seen this on FB - being advertised by Good Housekeeping ME- looks good! It's now on the Boulevard Dubai fbk page...lovely menu and looks like they've really gone to town on the Entertainment! edited by jacquimorris on 28/05/2012 Sorry - just seen this!
