I second Willow! Great Facilities, caring staff, flexible timings, the owner is so passionate about early education and imparts a very natural ethos into the nursery. Its lovely! there are wait lists though I am told.

My Little one goes to Willow Nursery which is in Um Suquiem 2 near Al Manara St. Its a fantastic nursery , open from 7am to 6pm. Premises are stunning and what I love is its very "Holistic" ethos. I am not sure about spaces though as I think they have a waiting list from what I was told by a Staff member the other day. Try them anyway! 04.3465078

My Little one goes to Willow. We also looked around the nurseries in that area and I did look at Home Grown. We chose Willow. Willow does have that eco ethos, they recycle and use the Bokashi bins to make their own compost which is from the children's own snack leftovers. They use it on their garden. The nursery does not use chemicals not only using natural products to clean but using steam cleaners which is a healthier and more ecologically friendly way. The children learn the same way too, they go outside and collect leaves and pebbles etc to count and sort, which is what I was told they do at Home Grown. The curriculum is very "Holistic" if you go to willownurserydubai and visit the blog you can see their information. Lovely staff who had followed the owner Jan, from another couple of nurseries she managed for years. We decided to follow her also ( was at one of those nurseries ) even though we did actually take a look at others first. We are so happy and glad we made the choice we did. Hope that helps a little. edited by Ourmandy on 23/10/2011
