Hi, yes there is a pool in Springs 8. There is also a small park and basketball area. Springs 7 also have a pool and a much bigger park area. Depending where you will be in Springs 8 the Springs 7 area may be closer to you. :-)

Haven't heard of them. I can recommend a company called Exclusive Links for Property Management - very reliable and efficient and so helpful. My friend in London uses them to manage her properties on The Palm and has had no issues and her properties are well looked after with great tenants. She recommended them to me when I arrived here and they also helped me find a property to rent. They were great. I'm not sure of the number for Property Management but I can get it for you if you like. Their website is www.exclusive-links.com Good Luck!

there is a British Orchard Nursery just opening in Media City at the bottom of Business Central Towers. In fact it may be open already, im not sure. This is just over the bridge coming from Tecom to Media City. You could probably walk if you lived near the metro by going through the metro station to take you to the Media City side. I don't know what its like but both my children went to the one on Beach road although this was 4-5 years ago. The only other nearby nurseries would be in The Lakes or Meadows, failing that the Marina or Barsha. Thanks,

There are many owners here who don't have a title deed for their properties as to get a title deed they have to pay 2% of the selling price. Since the title deed was usually only needed to sell the property then if the owner is purely renting then he wouldn't have to process title deed until he was going to sell. In the event of no title deed, a per registration document can be used. This is called an oqood. An oqood is sufficient to connect dewa but its not sufficient for ejari. The oqood must be signed and stamped by the developer and also signed by the owner. For du you only need a tenancy contract (signed by you and the owner) and stamped by the real estate company along with your passport and visa. It is normal to process the payments and sign the lease before connecting du as usually the owner would only sign the tenancy contract after he has recieved all payments. For ejari you can take the affection plan or if you can get the plot number this is fine. Take it to a typing centre, along with your original tenancy contract passport and visa and your dewa reciept. there is one in jbr beside the Sheraton hotel next door to emirates bank and they are very helpful. It costs 195 dhs. Hope this helps.

You can also register with ejari if u have the plot number. You can get the plot number from the planning department at land department. If u have the plot number you don't need the title deed of affection plan. Title deed and affection plan are usually required as this is where they will find the plot number. Thanks. The problem I have is with working full time, having her away for a full month leaves me without child care. We will be going away for 2 weeks in the summer so I'm thinking of trying to work out something for the week before we leave and so then in total she will have 3 weeks away. We will be away again over Xmas so she will have another 10 days then so all in all she will still be getting her 30 days - she will actually get more. But can I insist she takes her holidays when I'm away? She has said she would like to go in April for one month and while I would love to accommodate her I would be leaving myself in a muddle. Also if she goes April, this means she would have one month then, 2 weeks in summer and 10 days at Xmas. I will need to sit down and work out an agreement with her to keep us all happy. Thnx

We used Exclusive Links Real Estate and found the service excellent. Very efficient, took time to listen to our needs/requirements and were not pushy in the slightest. Really knew their stuff, I would highly recommend them. They are based in Media City. I know they have different agents working in different areas though so not sure if lady we used would be able to help, she only covered Victory Heights/Arabian Ranches. Worth a call.
