I don't know, mine was 5 years ago but don't think that mattered!

This just happened to me too, we got married in Malta. I contacted our wedding planner who got a new certified certificate for us...it was the only way to do it.if you used a wedding planner they might help. Good luck!

Thanks Whereintheworld...my problem is my Son is 4 this month and too old for Apple Tree so I need a kindergarten as we more than likely wont get him into a school. Busy Hands will also take my 2 year old so it's great to have them both in the same place - but only if it's ok. Have you heard anything bad about it?

Thanks kiwispiers! We were in Doha briefly a few months ago and I popped in but didn't really check it out properly so its great to get your view. I liked what I saw but it was a very quick chat at reception, that was all. He will be 4 in June & we move to Doha in September so he will definitely need something more structured. I'm also thinking of apple tree for my 2.5 yr old daughter, it seems to come highly recommended. Thanks again for your feedback...it's so hard not being in the country and trying to get information!

Hi, Does anyone have any feedback on this Kindergarten? I am thinking of sending my 4 year old Son there if we can't get a school for him. Thanks :)

Thanks a million GinaM. Ok so I'll forget about kindergarten for him & concentrate on schools. I contacted DESS a few months ago and they said that due to long waiting lists, they are only accepting British children at the moment...and for Ben's year, there were over 100 British children on the list! But it's worth another go maybe. I'll get my husband to try them all!

Thanks all! CESK was somewhere I had in mind as I have a 2 year old girl too so that rules that out! My husband goes in 3 weeks so I'm hoping he might secure a spot in a school...I hear from people out there that if you turn up with money in hand they might find a place for you...I'm remaining hopeful for the moment & I will definitely look into SEK too!

Hi, We are moving to Doha in September and my son will be 4 years & 3 months. The education system here in Ireland is different so in Doha, I'm not sure if I should try to get him into Reception in a school or place him in Kindergarten until the next academic year. Is there a huge difference between the two? Any advice is really welcome. Thanks in advance :)
