I called M plus to have some general DIY done around the house. Things my husband could do but doesn't have the time. On this list was to have 2 cracked toilet seats replaced. Mplus insisted that this must be done by a plumber. And, even worse, we had to pay a 200AED fee to have a plumber come and look at the toilets and tell us how much it would cost to fix. Seriously?? I tried to explain to the girl on the phone that logically this made no sense and then she interupted me and gave me attitude. I called Jim will fix it and 2 wonderful guys came and did numerous things around our house and the call out fee was only 100AED. They were so fab I can't stop telling people about them. Best company we have dealt with since we arrived in April.

Hello, I am in the same situation. We moved here 4 months ago with our now 10 month old daughter. We don't know anyone here. I have joined a few baby classes/groups but none are on during the summer. My husband is also away often for work. Right now he is gone for 9 days and I must admit in starting to get a bit stir crazy. There is not much to do with a little one when you can't go outdoors and I'm sick of walking around the mall. I'm in the springs area but I do drive. If anyone would like to meet up for a coffee or anything? Or even a group of us could get together? Alex

Does anyone know if any cinemas have baby friendly screenings? We moved from the UK recently and this was common in almost every theatre in London. They lower the sound and turn up the lights. I don't see anything on google, but maybe I am missing something. Thanks!! xx

I just assumed I would be able find them here no prob! xx Aveda no, I have never seen Bumble and Bumble either although Boots in the UK stock it but not the Boots here I cant help with the 3rd one sorry Try and Google the name with UAE or Dubai after them as it may list stockists edited by sarahlou123 on 04/05/2014
