Hi, I've recently bought the descaler for my coffee machine from the Jashanmal service centre (next to Pearl Coast Hotel). They told me that they were available now from any of their Jashanmal stores.

Hi, Yes, it is very important to have the contract registered with Ejari. Were you given a notarised eviction letter? no other notice (letter, e-mail, agreement, etc) will be valid for the rental committee. If you didn't receive a notarised eviction letter send a message now to the landlord saying that you want to renew the contract for another year. If you received a notarised eviction letter and the reason stated in it was the fact that the owner will move in the property you can ask Rera / the Rental committee (I dont remember exaclty who ) not to accept the registration of any Ejari contract for the next 2 years after you leave. Inform the landlord that you will proceed that way, so he'd better renew the contract to you.... otherwise the villa will be empty for 2 years ... :) I heard all this info in the dubaieye1038.com website / podcasts / the word / "legal matters" program. This particular podcast was out end of last year, December, I think (you can look and listen to it) but I recommend listening to this program, it is full of interesting advice. Good luck
