same thing happened with my baby but his mouth was much more drier then his nose. i started using humidifier and now he is fine (he is 3 weeks old). i noticed that whenever i sit in other room which does not have humidifier his mouth dries up pretty quickly. maybe after 4 months once his water starts then his mouth will no longer wil be dry.

delieverd almost 3 weeks ago and my epidural lasted for about 3 hrs. although after taking that my contractions fell very low and had to be rushed for emergency c-section. my heartrate became dangerously low but that was due to almost nill values of vit D which accelerated epidurals after effects. don't want to scare you. ps: anyone had feeling of numbness even after 17 days of epidural? i sometimes feel numbness in whole of my body.:\:

my baby is 15 days old and has started to feed only 5 min max on one side then he sleeps for 10 min then wants again :( so my feeding time is like 1-1:30 hr once. i counted and he normally takes about 8-9 feeds a day. at night i have to nurse him once and he sleeps like an angel. only wakes up at 2'o clock to play for 2 hrs :) <em>edited by manubhadauria on 03/05/2012</em>

i too have a flat nipple in one breast only and is producing excessive milk from that too. instead of nipple sheild i tried some thing by accident.i pump little milk from that while he is nursing on the other and then i switch sides.due to pumping areola swells a little which makes it easier for baby to latch on. i feed him in football hold ( google it) and he loves that and has started taking feed from right side. weird but helping me :D

You can safely take panadol for the pain if you need to too. Once he is feeding properly from both sides the engorgement should start to ease, your supply will keep adjusting and by the time he is 12 weeks old your breasts will most probably NEVERr really feel "full" (and then you''ll start getting paranoid that you don't have enough milk, lol ;) ) :) oh motherhood days!!

thank you very much for your replies. i pumped little milk from right then tried to latch him. he was angry and impatient for few minutes but then did got hold and sucked for few minutes :) my right breast feels full almost all the time. i did saw my doc and was adviced for change in bra. i did that but it has helped very little. i wll definitely try the cold cabbage leaves. and yes i googled about engorged breasts. it seems that after fully emptying it, it fills again! they are so painful that its difficult to lie down ( had a c-section). i will try these new positions today to trick him into thinking about left side.and i think i need to get one nipple shield too. and i am trying not to think about MIL's comments regarding sleeping and feeding him.

I wondered the same. BOught one Burberry weekend tester for daily use for 90 dhs. Well I"ll Say the fragrance goes awaY after 2-3hrs! But then the same didn't happened with Armani.it's fragrance remained for the day even after applying.

Back home with the beautiful Baby boy Born on 19 April. :)) had a wonderful experience At the international modern hospital wIth dr Andrea . Whole day with induction labour and bub decIded to make appearance in the night with emergency c- section.

it was citadines in sukhumvit 8, address-77/7 Sukhumvit 8, Sukhumvit Road Klongtoey, Bangkok 10110, Thailand ph-No:+662 257 2277. we went through qviclub booking but you can ask if they do the booking for others too. check out the booking.com site and look in suk 8 area. it has a central metro station at just a walking distance and you can go anywhere from there.just describing mine exp we went straight from airport to pattaya for a day and it was so beautiful we ended up staying 2 days there. the alcazer show is amazing there.

I was induced. Are you still with dr nirmala? It was absolutely fine. Had epidural too though so again was quite hapy having a snooze, wtching tv etc while the baby was coming. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting and felt the whole thing was monitored well and I had say as to what happened and when. HTH and good luck xxx nope i have changed the doc due to some reasons. I am with Dr Andrea right now who is also highly recommended. @lilly34: i do not have blood pressure but actually due to almost nill level of vit d i am facing some problems.

Thanks everybody for your replies. i think they have helped me getting a clear view? ( or i am still confused):\: @lilli34 i am thinking the same thing about c-section even before your reply. actually my pains have started 18 days back but they are too less and has not increased after so many days. CTG was completely normal. as for my heartbeat its too much and maybe doctor wants to induce as i have gained too much weight, so she'll do c-section later. @dubaicat : now that's a thought . i'll just keep on dreaming about bugaboo :) @laydeelay and danlou: you are correct i should have trust on my doctor speciallly in the last stage of pregnancy. @mich25: my baby is so far normal in size only i am huge! maybe because my heartrate is always on a very higher side doc wants to induce.

Mine is Alico provided by the company, they have the waiting period of 6 months. and then also whole maternity is not covered. I have heard some good reviews about nexcare in terms of maternity.

what type of sign do you want to get made? if you want something to be printed onto the cloth you can check kiosks at deira city centre lower ground. there is one there who print on t shirts basically but i got few things done on pillows and stuff. if you want something on glass then glass engraving is done by the repair shops who repair watches and shoes. also kodak photo shops do alot of printing on different materials. also i have seen a shop in satwa near fida's that make those baby stickers for cars. they might help too (i am not sure)

after being through nearly 5 doctors in past 3 years since i have been in dubai i finally found a very good gynae. Dr Andrea Farhat, she has a clinic on Al wasl road( western medical centre) after iraninan hospital. i am currently pregnant (38 weeks) and have been with her for only past 6 weeks. now i have only one remorse why i didn't found out about her sooner!since i have been with her there is no change in my weight, previously i was gaining rapidly and has already gained 20 kgs!! my previous gynae wasn't bothered by my weight gain and use to encourage me to eat more! if you want i can give you her details. I have heard a lot about Dr Grace in dubai mall medical centre and also Dr Elsa in city hospital. rest you have to go and see which doctor you are feelig comfortable with. along with several factors such as insurance if you have medical insurance.do a search on pregnancy forum you;ll find alot of recommedations there :) hope this helps.

I just looked on the site snp suggested and it works out to be 2,000dhs with shipping costs of 470dhs (or cheaper just for postal system and not UPS), so 400dhs cheaper than here! Take a look and I'll let you know if I manage to place an order :). do let me know...although i havn't shopped at all from UK or US so no idea how to do it! ;) but what are we internet savvies for. as for the due dats its 25 april and i can manage without one for few days. main requirement right now is car seat ( first baby). is it new or second hand only? because convincing my DH for second hand takes a lot of work :) but i am working on him.

the issue is with the tyres as some people complained that while crossing roads they suddenly jammed. so the stroller jerked!but the models coming here are so far from that time only.when we asked the staff at just kidding and mothercare they did not had an idea about any problem neither they could confirm that models available with them are not from that lot! <em>edited by manubhadauria on 06/04/2012</em>

We welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world April 4 at 2:20 am! So excited to have a girl finally with two older boys already. We arrived home yesterday from the hospital and am wondering already how I will manage with three. Things are a little crazy! Having some issues BFing but otherwise everyone is healthy and happy! I am having a quiet moment while two are napping... gotta go and relax! Good luck to the rest of the April mommies! Many congratulations CABear :)

You have made your decision and has come so far so just wait for few more weeks. let people say whatever they want. we wanted to know right from the start so that we can get ourselves prepared for the arrival (i am 37 weeks right now) these old wives tales are how much correct i don't know. whosoever use to see me or my tummy they would say that i am having a baby girl but the truth is i am having a baby boy :) which has been confirmed y 3 different sonographers! so just wait happily for your healthy child. all the best dear

Ladies, I also have a Bugaboo Chameleon to sell also. It is a grey and beige colour. Comes with a parasol (grey colour), footmuff and a rain cover, Again in very good condition, just older then the Bugaboo Bee plus as it is the first stroller I got. Booking?! I called today and there was no mention of booking! Aaaaagh! The guy just said they'd be in the first or second week of March. Off to find myself DH's steel toe caps to kick myself. Hard. If you're desperate, it's about 700dhs to Shop & Ship one. i was told about the booking by the staff at gold and diamond park. thanks for shop and ship i'll check it.

Happy april to all the april mommies. now finally we have ventured into the month. yesterday went for my weekly visit. although the amniotic fluid was litttle less than the normal range but dr Andrea wasn't bothered by that. i have crossed my fingers as my DH would be back by tommorrow. poor guy :) use to say daily to my tummy that he'll be back in 2 days please don't come out in that time. :) and as per doc bubba will still take time to come out. and here i am waiting hour by hour of the day :) all the best to everybody with their waiting.

its very easy to get the visa on arrrival there. but sometimes there is a huge queue. we have been there twice. once got it done on arrival then next time we got it done from here only :)

Hello Ladies !!.. Those who are delivering with Dr Grace, can you let us know her delivery charges @ City or American Hospital? Since now she is moved to DMMC, I assume she would not have a package and would act as a external doctor delivering there? when a doc operates through clinic the clinic charges apply. so you just call at DMCC and ask them about the doctor's fees. they are very costly as i use to go there before and had my appendix also removed through them. they billed 36k aed for that operation!
