I am 36 weeks pregnant and still go for legs massage every week.but i am having pre natal massage in which they just use normal oil to help soothe the pain in my legs. no aromatic oils should be used in pregnancy. you should always go to the person who is certified in pregnancy massage as sometimes applying pressure on diffrerent points is not good for you or your baby.particularly back massage should be avoided irrespective of the weeks.sadly my masseuse has left for states this week :( i was told by doc that reflexology to soothe the pain is also fine if you are going to a certified professional particulalry dealing with pregnancy. so far i didn't found any in dubai so havn't tried that. edited by manubhadauria on 28/03/2012

Please share your experiences what baby products you use? in terms of healthy skin and expense both. and where can i find pure coconut oil for baby's massage? I used Rapeseed Oil on DD which worked brilliantly. It cured her dry skin very quickly. A midwife at Healthbay recommended it. you meant to say grapeseed oil? ;)

Thank you, manubhadauria! So lovely of you to share your experience. Port Rashid it is, then. Would you trust [url=http://www.google.com/imgres?q=port+rashid+police&hl=en&biw=1345&bih=598&tbm=isch&tbnid=WpbLgbbsafFPCM:&imgrefurl=http://www.flight.org/blog/2011/03/18/leavingek23/&docid=W7YSp2vLl6C0eM&imgurl=http://www.flight.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/RashidPolice.jpg&w=684&h=615&ei=XThvT_zPHOmI0QHZvs35Bg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=114&vpy=4&dur=137&hovh=213&hovw=237&tx=103&ty=95&sig=102742103932168402867&page=2&tbnh=128&tbnw=144&start=18&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:6,s:18'>this map[/url'>? In other words, is that the exact location? ETA Wonder if [url=http://g.co/maps/kjxj8'>this[/url'> is the right one... All things considered? ;) yes this map is correct. if you are coming from jumeirah side just drive down straight to the end towards port rashid. you will see police station towards your right. there is a driving centre too there. hope this helps :) edited by jophiel on 25/03/2012

had recently been throught this process in last november. we went to the one near jumeirah open beach port rashid i think parking is very easy to find as went early in the morning and they have different parking slots for the applicants. take all your required document.emirates id if you have one which reduces the time for fingerprinting. but then my DH's fingerprint could not be found through emirates id so he has to give another one :) enter into the police station towards your left take the ticket and ask the person sitting there for PCC. you have to wait for few min only. they only fill up the form. after submitting application have to give fingerprints then was told to pick it after 2 days anytime. they are open 24 hrs for pick up . fairly easy and quick service. edited by manubhadauria on 25/03/2012

i use to pay 340 aed per month which was automatically deducted fro the credit account. (now pregnant so no more gym) for the lesser amount i think its 250 aed you get gym access till 3 in the afternoon. the classes were amazing and they have started aqua aerobics too now. plus you have so many options if you are bored from one gym then goto someplace else :) just goto any of their club and salesperson would tell you all the details. do negotiate a bit as when i joined they gave me 21 days fitness first passes, a heartrate watch and 4 days zumba passes too. i'll use them now after delievery for few days atleast :)

progestrone is a very common treatment given here in dubai by nearly all docs. i had PCOS and was given progestrone along with folic acid to concieve naturally. so fell pregnant in 3 months :) usually docs wait for 6-8 months and then they start on femara to help you get pregnant. i didn't started femara and concieved before that. you just take appointment of a good gynae and consult her. mostly gynaes' here recommend concieving naturally if you are not in a hurry .

does anybody else has this problem in pregnancy? hyperpigmentation or melasma or pigmentation simply? i really hate black patches on my skin which are on stomach, underarms, face and back :( thought of starting this thread so that after delievery we can get our skin back to normal. i am searching for home remedies and will post here. if you have any please do share. 1. soak saffron in heavy cream ov ernight. apply for 30 minutes and wash with cold water. 2. equal parts of crushed tomato and pineapple with few drops of lemon juice every alternate day. (this i have tried and it works wonders on my skin) (combination skin)

Thanks for your kind words... manubhadauria .. I'm feeling almost that they are trying to guilt me into getting something that I/we may not like, love or want...... They say in their FAQ's section about the stroller that it has a bassinet option .... I have asked a friend to check it out in store and get back to me.... its heavy too due to the generators in there. check out the weight too. bugaboo is only 8.2 kgs and can be used upto 18 kgs of child weight. @shella: thanks for the update shella. we are centered onto that only as we plan to have 2 child atleast 3-4 yrs after. so this can be used afterwards too. from where did you bought yours?

i have the same issues. we have selected bugaboo bee+ so far but everyody is advising to go for a cheaper stroller or any other from dubizzle. i was swayed by quinny's price and model but my DH is adamant on bugaboo. he does not want to buy second hand for the first baby :). one of my friend bought last year from dubizzle -gracco for just 500 with all the accessories but what's the point as she is again looking for the stroller after 1 year. you have to see what fits your criteria, as we will be travelling atleast 2-3 times a year so wanted a light stroller which can be put into its bag. and we don't want to buy 2 strollers one for here and one when we are travelling. it makes no sense when you have limited space here to store everything. but then for the first time parents like us it will be trial and error :) i have read so many reviews online and people say no stroller is perfect for all. you have to check your criteria. all the best in hunting. i'll check out your link too. if you are getting it by shipping do let me know please. :) edited by manubhadauria on 07/03/2012

you are right kiwispiers with bigger baby chances of normal delievery are very less ( although my baby is right size at the moment). I am not trying to loose weight just have to control it so the scale is same on my next visit to doc :) fruits are a big part of my diet daily and still are. only i have to control on junk food and sweets.

thanks everybody...i was fitness conscious before pregnancy. going to gym atlest 5-6 times a week and eating healthy...with pregnancy due to loads of nausea for 4 months i swapped white bread instead of multigrain. just eating toasted bread without any spread or butter use to help me a little with the nausea. as for fitness due to a miscarriage 3 months back(before concieving) i was more careful this time and due to some medical issues couldn't even walk.so life was completeky sedentary. still walking is very painful but i have started walking irrespectively....

i was in the same boat for first 3 and a half months of pregnancy and now it has started again (32 week) you have to see what helps you. for me it was sucking on crystalized ginger or little jaggery or eating green grapes one by one very slowly. do not get into the habit of drinking any type of soda its not healthy for the baby. i have the travel bands too they helped me a little.

Hi manubhadauria Thanks for your answer. I am seeing the doctors there now, as well as my private doctor, so I hope that puts me in a safe position. Will ask more information during my next appointment. Although I am not happy with the consultant I have been appointed, I have made 1 visit to the ER last week (turned out to be nothing) and the doctor on duty was very helpful and very friendly you will not be assigned a single doc. there is a panel of 5 doc's i think and every time you go you'll be seeing the doc on duty that day. That what put me off although people who have delievered there says that all the doc's are so thorough in their notes that you don't need to explain yourself every time.

can't answer your questions properly...you rae correct that information provided there is not sufficient. but i was told that if i buy the antenatal package to register there i still have to see their doc's even if i am going with private doc.that will automatically register you for the NICU if the need arises but they do prefer people who are delievering there first.better go and check in the emergency department as the person there was very helpful.

we have ford edge and it was recommended to change after 60 k irrespective of years...so we did changed then only. The company personnel told us that due to heat and speed of the roads here tyres should always be changed when recommended by the company or the mechanic to prevent bursting of the tyres. edited by manubhadauria on 27/02/2012

I didn't have maxicosi or bugaboo but for me the infant car seat was a very handy thing because I could get the baby in and out of the car without waking him up and just attach the car seat to the stroller. My car seat had a base in the car and I could just click the seat into this base. It's an additional expense because you can only use it for a year but then you can try to sell it or keep it for the next one. by reading your post atleast i have made up my mind that i will be buying newborn car seat only...rather than the one used for 3 years.thanks

Hi, I guess i can only answer one of your questions properly. You can get bugaboo bee at Bumble Bee. If you are looking for bugaboo cameleon you also have the option to buy it from Mothercare. Just kidding is the one that brings in all the Bugaboos to Dubai and the other shops get their stock from them. I am going to get a bugaboo cameleon and a maxi carseat for it from newborn the pebble because the newer version of maxi cosy does not fit easily onto the bugaboo. Good luck. Ive been where you are in the decision making its not easy.. thanks for your feedback. its helpful regarding car seat :)
