babylons, it does not take 3 days to transfer if you are doing online. it gets transfer immediately. this minimum payment is for loan you have taken? if its for loan then the statement generates at a paticular date and it will not recognize your payment if made early. computer will work accordingly so it will reflect in the next statement that's why you have to make the payment of 6000 again. you call CCR again and can ask this thing. for loans category there is a certain system which works systematically, if one of the step is disturbed it does not recognize. i have a citibank accnt and cc and has no problem so far. if there is something you need to clarify you can ask me. if i know i'll help. Actually no it doesn't go immediately! I have an HSBC account and HSBC cc's and if I do and online transfer, it takes 2 working days - at least - to show up on my CC account. don't know about HSBC but citi does and you can transfer with immediate effect on citi phones (043114000) but not to 3 party bank. <em>edited by manubhadauria on 03/05/2011</em>

thanx everyone. i did made slamon last night in dinner and hubby loved it. i found this on net- marinate salmon in ****** mary mix,curry powder,chilli flakes, pepper sauce,salt and lemon juice. keep for sometime(ikept for 24 hrs). either broil it or grill it. i served this with pasta similar to cheggers although bit tempered according to taste. acc to him it tasted amazing (i am veggie) :)

apart from humidifiers you can inhale vicks vaporub which opens nose instantly.just take a deep breath. you can find it in Al Adil shops. it is basically strong menthol for cold.

sharjah airport has many restrictions. so to be on a safer side buy from duty free rather then getting your own. I know.. But we have loads of it at home which we've tried to dispose off successfully. Wanted to take some for folks back home. Thank you all so much ladies, will give a few of them a go and see how I get on! Where can I buy coal in Dubai? ;-) I was advised to do a rinse cycle in the washing machine with a cup of vinegar ever so often to de-clog your machine pipes and bring it back to new! Works a treat. Anyone else want to share their handy hint n tips :) u can get coal from spinneys in the barbeque section. although big packet :)

Zara home has those sticks that you put in a jar of scented oil. I love the green herbs one. I think it makes the whole house smell so fresh. edited by plum2 on 27/04/2011 u will find a lot of fragrances in lifestyle. i go particularly to the one near bur juman. has the biggest collection of scented sticks.

smoothie type drink from omega 3 capsule would be yucky! although be careful in giving capsules. i read somewhere that not all capsule brands are safe to take because of possible mercury or selenium content in that. sorry can't provide you with link as i don't rem myself. just google it. ah we googlers :) what to do without it!

last friday i also got a shock. apparently maternity is covered with my insurance company. i had been having scans and blood tests at the dubai mall medical centre. i was scheduled for d&c on saturday and my insurance refused for city hospital as they were charging 6000 AED and the people at dubai mall exhausted all my limit in just scans and tests!! i didn't even knew, won't go there again. although after reading all the posts here i think i should have a chat with our agent coz this all has made me confused. i want to be prepared for the next time. and all this happened when i was just 9 weeks preggers.

i only use plug in air purifiers and scents :( daily i do light a insence stick but it gives fragrance only for some time! i am loving this post....getting ideas :) (i sometimes put perfume on my pillow depending on the mood)

thnx so much dubaicat for asking. aches are less then yesterday. i did went to doctor.she has done some tests and would get the reports by tom. however she is sure that its not infection. although my haemoglobin has come down so has been given iron tablets for that. as for this terrible body ache i have a reaction to anaesthesia and it takes time to fade away completely. i am so relieved. she says it will go away as combined with weakness i am feeling this so i have been asked to take rest.

I do have tennis elbow and that too in right hand so its difficult to steer (i guess i have to except his excuse till my hand gets better ;) )

well your first exp was same as mine. i was also given tablets as this was my first pregnancy but had to stay in hospital for 1 hr then go home so no charge for that. only 3 day after ops they kept me there for 12 hrs after which my DH insisted on going home as i was feeling completely fine. i can't seem to recall but i think last year too after appendectomy i had terrible bodyache. i do have a reaction to anaesthesia. but my mind has gone fuzzy right now :(

so sry to hear that you have to go twice jojobaaklini :( the pain from my face has subsided but it still hurts when you press your fingers. i feel like somebody has beaten me up. i am on antibiotics course.some pains and cramps would be there but i am confused why bones are paining and it gets worse in nights as i become restless and couldn't sleep. doc has asked me to come tom' where do you went for your ops? i have to rush last minute at Al Rafa as its just across the road (was previously booked for city at the same date but insurance refused at city,they were charging 6000!) <em>edited by manubhadauria on 26/04/2011</em>

best thing would be to goto dubai mall, the medical centre floor near kinokuniya...all the major electronics brand shops are there. check them out. sharaf and jacky's give best deals. if you have somebody coming over from UK ipads are much cheaper in US and UK. got mine from london and it was 800 AEd difference.

i saw some nice swim suits collection sometime back in max store near bur juman. they had complete range in same colours ranging from swim suit , hat,sandals,bag...everything matching...i did liked them.nice colour blue with white dots and other red with dots and print and plain both. i prefer T caps and jack wolfskin's are best in dubai weather. <em>edited by manubhadauria on 20/04/2011</em>

just do a search on EW and you will find loads of recommendations based on experience. that depends on you totally which to choose (insurance too) . my personal choice is city hospital.have heard great reviews about that. but have got an appointment with Dr Elsa for july!

i know emirates are charging too much but the best part is on cleartrip they were offering pay in 6 months on 0% interest :) so that was way much better. i really want to go to italy but because of the stupid club membership we have (as expiring holidays this year) we have to go to thailand instead :( just my luck when i was already dreaming about walking in vineyards hand in hand with hubby !! <em>edited by manubhadauria on 20/04/2011</em>

no you don't need them to visit jebel hafeet. it's a beautiful drive there but be sure of having eatables with you. we thought of buying on the way or there only but the restaurant there is very bad and mall is so far. <em>edited by manubhadauria on 20/04/2011</em>
