Try Gulf Photo plus.. they are really good. They have loads of photographers that free lance with them so they cover a range of photography. Ask for Mohd.

I had originally bought mine from S.Africa but over time the heat did not retain for long. After a long hard search locally found them at a kiosk at Oasis centre about two years ago.. they aren't there anymore though.

Loads of offers on Groupon, Living social, Cobone etc.. Look it up. Alternatively call up some of the hotels you have shortlisted and check with them directly for offers. Most summers the Jumeirah group runs promos on some of their properties and Ritz too. Atlantis also has a great deal going currently.

There is a grace period of one month from the date the registration is actually due. That is why you have insurance for thirteen months. We registered both our cars last Saturday and they were in the grace period so no fines. There is definitely a grace period. By taking advantage of this grace period I've moved by registration by a good 4 months over 5 years.

I see ladies in the mall putting making at Mac. Is this a trial before you buy their makeup or can you ask them to do u proper makeup and pay them? You can have a free trial with no obligation to buy at Mac as well as Bobbi Brown. However, I enjoy the tutorials my Eman on you tube. Here is one of her videos.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kQhV4XzoGk

They are available in Home Centre, the scented ones and inexpensive too. However, the scent does not last long but I buy a similar scented room freshener and spray the liners with it once in a while.

The Green Pan available is Crate and Barrel is a dream. Just bought them after they were recommended to me and love it!! The other brands like Prestige, teal etc. that I've used over the years seems to have a very short life.. after approx a year or so (depending on your usage) the coating kinda comes off and you end up using more oil. Also heard very good reviews of the Ikea & Cephalon pots and pans but not yet tried them. There was a very good discount on the Cephalon set in Jashanmal. Ceramic is the the new way to go and I have seen a few around town including Lulu and Carrefour.

We are in the Ranches community and all goes, from little bra tops and shorts to long stuff with full sleeves. Seen it all and no one seems to have an issue. Even at the gyms its pretty cool. However, if you are living in a stand alone villa in Jumeirah, Barsha etc. with locals living around you then you have to be more careful and conservative. Shorts and sleeves are accepted in public.

My friend made hers at home the standard bundt size that you get of it. It was pretty simple to make, if you want to give it a try and she is no expert. To answer your question it served approx 6 kids and about 8 adults. But they weren't very generous slices. If that helps.

It is simple to fill the two forms online. Just did ours. Also there is a document check list that you can get online. Its compulsory to also fill the family form even if they aren't traveling with you. We got it sent through to the Canadian Embassay with Aramex courier and payment by bank draft only, if sent by courier.

The Magrabi branch I called said 14 so when I take her in for an appointment next week she will be 14... I wouldn't trust an optician in a mall to do an initial eye test for a child and for that matter adults too. From my personal experience with has completely changed my way of thinking, is that I used to get my eyes checked and glasses from an optician in malls. Light number, reading glasses no issue. A friend suggested to get DS eyes tested professional as she noticed him squinting a lot. I took him to Dr. Chidamber who tested his eyes before and after dilation and there was a significant difference in reading, after which glasses were recommended. I got my eyes checked too and yet again the similar thing. Now Opticians do not dilate your pupils and hence don't get an accurate reading. So you rather go to a specialist, IMHO

I don't personally have one. DH swears not to get one in this country. But I believe that It sure doesn't come cheap at approx 100K+ to my knowledge. I believe maintenance is expensive too with the need to top up the water, chiller / heater, a company employed for regular maintenance etc. But ladies who have one in their back yard can give you first hand feedback.

Most shops are on sale and the good stores to buy your school shoes from are Clarks, Geox, Pablosky and the likes or Sports stores (if your school allows it) for shoes like Addidas, Nike etc. in plan black. It's best not to compromise on shoes that our kids need to wear for 7 hours of a day.

I've got mine done recently at Tip N Toes for 500 and loving them. I also have to agree with a previous poster, that you loose a bit of your lashes when they all come off. And you will possibly feel more bare since you were used to seeing your self with a whole set for a full month.

Welcome to the Middle East! Been battling with this problem for over 10 years and my hair is now half of what it used to be. Couple of factors that influence hair fall here.. First being that the water is saline and not too good for the hair. Second, the tank of older properties may not be maintained and cleaned out so dirty tanks can also contribute to hair loss. I realized that my personal hair fall is also because of low iron content in my body. I have been taking supplements but haven't seen much of a change. I've not yet tried a water filter but here are a few links on the forum which will give you an idea of pricing and comparison of H2O Pure Blue and Blu water filters. They are not that expensive and it can be taken with you if you decide move home. http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=173716 http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=128747 10 years? And you still think it is the water? Think I have listed a couple of reasons one of them being low iron content in my body. So No I do not think it's just the water. But could be one of the reasons.

My boy tested his eyes at 8 years and he already had a number. So guess you have to possibly get them tested as early as 6. We go to the clinic in Dubai Mall to Dr. Chidamber. Can't sing enough praises of him

I did the whole thing online as in the application. Then you schedule an appointment after which you make the payment before you turn up at the embassy/ consulate here. So you just can't turn up randomly they are very strict by appointment only!! Let's see how i process.. hopefully with some luck I get an earlier date. Another friend of mine also tried for an earlier date and got the same error message. If they don't allow you to change dates easily then why even give the option

Have you tried calling them? It is probably no use, but just a thought. I believe that the appt dates are given according to nationality. We had out appt dates in Jan and got the visas near the end of March. Oh dear! thats shocking. Have had to visas before but now both expired. Hope they give me within three days as I've got flight booked 8th Aug. Errrggghhh

You can go out the same day however your hair will look greasy / wet and kinda sticks to the head. Looks nice after the first wash. Having said that, I didn't enjoy the poker straight look and wouldn't do it again. Besides my eyes were burning really bad during the whole treatment, I couldn't mange to keep my eyes open during the treatment. Really wonder what goes into the product. I did it at Spaces and wouldn't go back there for a similar treatment. I am now keen to try the Brazilian blow out. Here is a recent thread on the discussion of Keratin http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=175799

Here are a few recommendations There is a very cute place called the Little Lemon Tree in Greenpoint, which is very central and nearly at the base of Table Mountain. Has gorgeous Dutch / Portugese architecture.. absolutely marvelous. http://www.little-lemon.com/ Alternatively you can also stay at the Westin if you get good rates from them. Great spa with the most amazing sauna with views of the coast and port. However, its big and commercial you wont get the same feel as staying in a smaller more boutiquey B&B kinda place. Or better still, split your stay between the two. http://www.westincapetown.com/ Most recently in April we also tried the One and Only and loved the hotel, the buffet breakfast, location and spa of course. Its a 3-5 minute walk to the mall and safe too. Hope this helps
