Call up one of the bodyshop stores and check if they have an outlet there. Alternatively, call the mall info desk to check.

Many a moon ago I worked in a Chinese restaurant and we would have to tie rubber bands around the ends of the chop-sticks when children wanted them. You just put the rubber band about 2cm down from the end (wher eyou aren't eating), then tie it once, then wrap it around only onle chop-stick, tie both again, then wrap it around the other. I also googled this way: http://lifehacker.com/5616695/use-a-rubber-band-to-turn-disposable-chopsticks-into-a-training-set But I had no problems using the chop-sticks with the rubber bands on the ends. I've done this for DS before I found the actual training chopsticks and it worked perfectly well.

I'd say you could visit Mt. Nebo and Madaba in half a day from the dead sea. But Jordan would not be complete without a visit to Petra, it absolutely stunning and you will need a full day for it. THere is the Moven pick hotel right by the entrance of Petra.. a must visit!!! Also if time permits... still furhter up north is Jerash a city with roman style ruins beautiful too.

Very concerning.. never thought this would ever happen here in Dubai where the laws are so strict with zero tolerance. Guess I have to be vigilant about my son too.

Hey Kiran, Just wanted to let you know that the tickets that you were assisting your friend in selling for the Russel Peters show, was in deed double the price that it originally is. You had mentioned that he did not want to make quick buck on it but guess you were wrong or possibly not aware. I guess you are aware of how the ladies feel about people making a quick buck like this and its not fair to promote it here on behalf of this friend. He wishes to sell the P2 category tickets which is originally 450 for 950 each. Understand that everyone would like a little more for the effort or what ever their reasons are.. but double the price is absolutely ridiculous. This is not a personal attack on you.. maybe the next time just check the details before putting it out there. Appreciate your efforts though.

Shamilla is really very good.. the open day performances are very impressive. The kids love her classes and perform well. I'd recommend her hands down unless someone else on the board can throw more light on it.

THe place suggested ie. Pinkys and Safita is more of the Indian / Pakistani kinda designs but in solid wood. Alternatively for a contemporary look try Bo Concept, the One, id Design. Home centre may also have a few.. I'd say IKEA but then again you are not to keen on it. Remember if you are here for even a few years and dont plan taking back your furniture with you.. then its not going to be worth it as you will get little or nothing if you try to resell it.

There is a PINKY in Barsha too, its on the main street to access MOE. SAFITA is als o a good option as recommended here. If you got a good budget then opt for Marina furniture. IKEA has sure come a long way and their quality has improved and last a few moves locally.

Put down all the details of the poster like you would want it in a powerpoint or word document along with his picture of any other image that you would like to include... take it across on a USB to any of the printers suggested it will be a 10 minute job.

Most maintenance compaies will oblige with this kind of work as it's a regular requirement. Alternatively, you can buy maint and get the building securityt o organsie a painter for you.. they are most often aware of a painter and handyman around the area that can do it in their spare time. Good luck with it!

Dont think martial arts is the answer to the problem at hand. Personally, I ask my son to walk away from bullies and not to get involved.. its not going to help to hit and retaliate as it may get your son into trouble if they turn the tables on him. As some of the ladies suggested, it will help to talk to your son and yes, martial arts will help him with confidence. Hope it all works out well for him. Big hug to him.

Welcome to the forum Y&N Aquilla is a big let down.. it hardly a game reserve. It's new and very small and they are still trying to build their eco system which will take them a few years. However, there are lot of other exciting things to do in and around CT with the kids. Its not the best place to see the big five and Aquilla in that area is probably your best bet. Visit Spier wine farm and cheetah park and even horse riding. This is in Stellenbosch (the university town). This place has a permanent market thats small but nice. Can even consider staying at Spier for a night Boulders Beach to see the penguins Table Mountain, Camps Bay, 12 Apostles (can be done in one day) and possibly even Cape of good hope.

Managed to get my tickets, was dreading today in case I wasn't successful! Sickened by the folk quoted in the papers, bragging about how they snapped up eight tickets to sell on for double the price.... Anyone remember what happened with Robbie Williams? People did the same with those tickets, bought stacks and tried to resell them at hugely inflated prices. Then got stuck with them at the last minute :). Absolutely disgusting!!! Total greed... It serves them right that an other show date is released and hopefully not too many people got conned into buying these inflated tickets.

I was checked by Dr. Alex at City Hospital who is a Specialist Breast Radiologist. Not the easiest to get an appointment with but book your self a mamogram with her clinic and within a week you wil get to see her and discuss your results and will probably also do an ultra sound immediately, if required. Her full name is Dr. Alexandra Economacos at the Breast Cancer Center, in CITY Hospital. For appointments call 4359999 Hope this helps

Love both the Kite Runner and A thousand Splendid sons.. I am an avid reader and prefer a book to a movie. The movie captured a lot of the book, in both beautiful and haunting images, yet something felt as though it was missing..... While the book is twisty and tragic, the film is all off on the deliverance. When it reveals the book’s biggest twist, it’s a fact that’s simply stated to Amir and takes just moments for him to accept. It relies too much on the audience to fill in the emotional blanks, and I just couldn’t do it. Another let down of a movie from a book was the Geisha

"reasonable" By which you mean "cheap" and 'not quite good enough for me and my family but will do for the help'. beats sticking pins in your eyes NIP, does it not? :) Yes!! Suze 63 I meant cheaper than the clinics at the Ranches or at Motor city which is AEd 400 just for consultation besides the meds. Atleast I didnt consider taking her to a pharmacy for over the counter meds. Some of you ladies need to hold your thoughts and daggers before knowing the background. And if I as a "madam" was that bad an employer guess she wouldnt be with me for 5 years now, would she?? edited by Annedxb on 27/02/2012

I think there isn't must difference in costs between an AC and fan but it's sure cheaper with a fan. In winter we only use free standing fans in the bedrooms with a door left slighly ajar for fresh air and our bills are definitely cheaper by 200 Dhs. So it's not much of a saving but we do it because of preference of a fan
