You are gonna get little or nothing for books at a sale. For that matter house of prose offers 20% of the books actual value. Why not donate it to a charity organisation and let them raise funds from it. You would have done a good deed and got rid of your stuff. Just my pence worth!

The instructors at Exhale are great for YOGA. They also have different types of Yoga and I'm sure you will find one for you. The only place that has Bikram Yoga is at Stretch Yoga, which is in the old part of Dubai in Satwa, on the port road.

This is a nice church and not too far from you. www.fellowshipoftheemirates.org. I second this one! I can also second it.. We've been going to it regularly for the past three years and enjoy the family / community feel to it. We also like the warm welcome group and the great services that we look forward to each week.

I do not get involved in a thread like this but... we can't let a forum get us down and be sensitive about politeness here. How petty are you then in the real world?? AmyAus - May be you want to consider not swetaing the small stuff on a forum, as a NY's resolution. If i can sum it up 'Have no expectations and you won't be disappointed'. When I do post a thread, I hope to get a repsonse and I'm grateful when I do.. If and when I respond to someones queries and dont get any feedback or a thank you.. so be it!! Q - how many EW does it take to change a lightbulb? A- - one - why is she not asking her DH to do it - what do you mean, ask her DH, just because she's a woman she can't change a lightbulb? get into the 21st century - what has she got a maid for if she needs to ask this - who said she had a maid? - I looked up her previous posts where she said she was using a maid - that might have been her neighbour's maid not hers - doesn't she know that's illegal - why has she moved here if she can't follow the law? - and what are you? the ew law police? - that was not her maid, her maid got banned last year for smashing lightbulbs while trying to change them - how do you know so much? are you the OP with a different user name? etc etc That's excellent!!!

If you are in a villa just leave it outside by your bin and it will disappear in a few hours. Thats what happened to ours and I continue to see neighbours doing it too with big pieces of furniture.

We've always travelled there between July - Sep the main rainy season for the far east and I must say that we've never ever had a problem of being trapped in due to the rains for more than a few hours at the most. Most often it rains for just an hour or so and clears to blue skies again. Also we enjoy the rains since we seldom get any of it here and enjoy swimming in it as long as there is no thunder or lightening.

My friends sons that received their communion last year ordered their Tuxedos online from the Uk. However, yet another friend got an excellent Tux suit tailored for her son from Kachins in Bur Dubai.

I've been using the Ikea hangers too but DS is now 9 and I feel he can do with slightly bigger hangers but not yet the adult sized ones. So I'm also on the look out for slightly bigger ones than the Ikea ones.

The far east is always on the top of our list for an great economical holiday. Thailand is lovely and loads to do and see. Spend 2-3 days in Bangkok and then head on to one of the islands like Phuket. Consider the laguna resorts the kids will love it and you can have a chilled out holiday. Most of the places in the far east have great zoos, tropical forests, beaches, good shopping and cheap food. Hope this helps

I don't know Australia very well, but I would say that Sydney is too far given the time you have available, as the flight time is long. You will barely have arrived there before you need to turn back. I'm also not sure whether you can fly direct - I'm sure someone else will be able to advise about this. I beleive Emirates flies directly to Sydney and we will be flying in comfort so it may not be soo bad. Let see will put a thought to it.

Most of the gardeners will know where they can be disposed. Check with yours if he can dispose them for you or if you dont have a gardener ask a neighbours. They may oblige and do it at a small cost

For kids 7 and below you can just allow them to play in the kids area which gives them hours of fun in a contained area where they can be supervised. They will not be allowed on many rides and will have to share a double tube on just a few of the rides.

Try Andre at the Cooper Health Clinic (04 348 6344). He is just brilliant and he is also used as a sports Physio for the Dubai 7's. He will really sort your problem.

I've tried Silkor and Dermacare for Microderm.. I however prefer Dermacare as I felt that their skin treatment was better with Oxygene and Vitamin C. While at Silkor it was not only more expensive but it was just a face mask after the microderm. Also at Silkor the girls were very pushy to sell you product and a package. Probably wouldnt go back again.
