I had lashes going adrift quite early on and yes the kinked ones too but a brush usually sorted them out. However would not get it done again as lost some of my own eyelashes and they took a while to grow back in again. I can relate to that.. I lost some of my own lashes too and took a real long while to grow back. Not very sure if I do it again

Of course the video is propaganda, isn't that the point? The main aim of the Kony 2012 seems to be to raise awareness and put a stop to this man, raising money for projects in Uganda appears to be a side project. I'd be happy for 100% of my donation to go to supporting Invisible Children's goal of raising awareness ending in the capture and bringing to justice of such an awful awful man. Money well spent. And why should 'charity' workers work for free? Because it's a worthy cause should they be obliged to do it out of the goodness of their heart? So bankers et al rake it in but people who are really trying to make the world a better place should have to scrape by? I didn't know the name Joseph Kony until a few days ago but I was aware of child soldiers and the horrors going on in Uganda and other areas. And what did I do? Sat on my privileged a*se and did absolutely nothing. I'm so grateful that the world has people like Jason Russell who are willing to stand up and really try to make a difference. He doesn't just deserve a medal, he deserves to be paid handsomely for what he is doing. SPOT ON!! AMEN !!!!!!

'Her' by Narcisso Rodrigues The new Ellie Saab perfume - haven't got it yet but they were handing out silk strips with it sprayed all over in Mall of the Emirates a while ago and I'm hooked now! Why is perfume so expensive over here? :( The Ellie Saab is my new fav... The airport is way cheaper.. thats where I buy mine.

Chanel no.5... All time classic.... I tried this on in the mall and it just wasn't for me. So many recommend this but I don't see what's so nice about it. TBH it was awful smelling on my skin. That's so funny, because I've always hated the smell of chanel no.5 and could never see the attraction to it. I tried it recently and loved it!! Must be hormonal as I'm getting older! Dont like it all too.. tried to but just doesn't work for me

I would also think that the tree trunks (and utility poles, etc) are painted white to make them more visible so vehicles doesn't crash into them on unlit streets at night.

DS is also a little fish when it comes to the water. He was just under 2 when he started using the wings after about 4 months he took them off dived in and started swimming ... initially he did not know how to use his arms and would swim close to the bottom of the pool with just his legs like a fish..ofcourse, supervised!

If he resigns he wont be entitled for a payout and other benefits. So try not to do it. Well if they want to get rid of him then they must make him redundant. With the way the market is right now any new employer would understand that he was made redundant it wouldn't be held against him. Also have your tried to consider downsizing to a smaller place to save a bit? So may that the landlord is not renewing your agreement could eventually be for the better. As for your child on the healthcard provided by the government, the hostipals that you can treat her too are not bad at all. It will be much much cheaper than private clinics and hospitals but the standards will not be the same. We have personally gone through this thrice on our married life .. the first time when we just had DS and we were starting off.. and as I've advised you, we also took him to government clinic for his monthly jabs as a baby and they were just fine. Most recently DH was unemployed for 18 whole months.. I down sized our big villa and rented a small one in the same community. So it was a saving for us that help us stretch it. All can be worked out.. just think rationally and rule with your mind. A big hug to you.. hang in there. Anne xo

My DS is invite to a party on a dhow and the theme is ‘pirate ship’. Kids are required to be dressed up as pirates. The boat sets sail at 2pm down the marina, they will not really go into open sea (for safety). Apparently, as the boat sails, there will be speed boats that ‘attack’ the pirate ship with water guns. These guys will be dressed as pirates and will then on board our boat and from there the story begins. All kids will also get water guns and try to defend their boat as they get attacked so they get a chance to shoot at the pirates attacking the boat and its all in all a lot of fun. There will also be a treasure hunt as well and loads more. Can try and find out details about this place for you if you are interested

Irooni - Dont you think, even the opening of the film was a let down.. I stopped the movie first 10 minutes into it and gave DH a run down of what had happened in the book, then continued the movie Have you read or seen Memoirs of a Geisha??? edited by Annedxb on 07/03/2012 edited by Annedxb on 07/03/2012

Love both the Kite Runner and A thousand Splendid sons.. I am an avid reader and prefer a book to a movie. The movie captured a lot of the book, in both beautiful and haunting images, yet something felt as though it was missing..... While the book is twisty and tragic, the film is all off on the deliverance. When it reveals the book’s biggest twist, it’s a fact that’s simply stated to Amir and takes just moments for him to accept. It relies too much on the audience to fill in the emotional blanks, and I just couldn’t do it. Another let down of a movie from a book was the Geisha So, I finally watched it tonight. It did not do the book justice:( So many parts were rushed, so much was missing. If you haven't read the book, definitely read it. No comparison! My point exactly.. does no justice to the book. Like most movies that are based on books.

our ace set disintegrated in the sun within 2 yrs. The 'cane' got brittle and snapped when touched.( the metal frame lasted) It got morning sun and it was covered with the special covers from ace. Happened to my friends set too and she bought hers from Ratan furniture.
