not entirely. will let you know on sunday.. I however, am packed, and going on holiday. Child is clean, just about all the animals are delt with and if the flaming ceiling falls in i will walk out without a backward glance.

I wouldn't-would give it all to my very best friend who has a severlely disabled daughter who is nearly 40 now-she is absolutely obsessed with Disneyland so I would hire a private jet from Australia-(she needs that as she needs help with toiletting)-enough to pay for her daughter, herself and another carer so mum could enjoy the holiday too-oh =if only I were rich enough to do it-dream on............ That is really sweet of you. I hope and pray your friend's daughter's wish will get fulfilled very soon. I do too-we have been planning the trip for years but just can't find a way to make it happen-it is not nice of me-she gets so much pleasure out of even the simplest things it would be a joy just to see her face if she ever made it there what about the make a wish foundation wuffles? we could put together an appeal? I have an urge to see you all make your dream come true....

sigh, keep 2 browers open then and one with the maid thread open :) yeah, but why? turns out all those maid threads were just cluttering up the place. What we do need is an alert button for the really good ones! I alerted the "Mainies" about the "Maidies" last week and got deleted?! no way?!!! how devisive, and and , elitist and maidist and mainist!

could you look online for the one you'd like (or similar), print it off and add a list of no-no's...that way if he stuffs up you've got it in black and white !! lol just quietly, have been pointing out my ideal fridge for the last 3 years....he knows what I want, but it's like the diamond (and the stove etc) just what is he going to come back with? If it's the right fridge, i bet you a million dollars it's my birthday present....

my teeth....again a thing from pregnancy. Gums went soft, teeth moved all over the show and I hate them, hate them hate them. the fat wobbly bits and wrinkles, i can live with as I did earn them after all!

Do the grommets only work when it is a straight reoccuring ear infection or does it also help when they are continually getting nose/chest colds given the whole nose ear system is linked? ENT would have to tell you that...lil miss had BAD mega bad ear infections, and grommets worked for that.

Septillin syrup by Himalaya herbals is very good for boosting immunity. Its not very tasty,but not totally yucky either. It's got a herby tate with honey as its base. My kids take it regularly and its done them a lot of good. they had it in the pharmacy when we were looking this morning for similar stuff, don't ask the pharmicist guy though, as he has no clue what he has in store. They have a section for natural remedies, just look there. sorry! eta, pharmacy at the springs town center...in a kerfuffle here and not thinking! <em>edited by arohadxb on 16/02/2011</em>

I'm in 10. theres no pool, but it's a quick walk over the road to 11 for a swim. Your probably looking at around 130k 1 chq for that type of villa. We like it here, but after 2 yrs are looking for a springs 3m that backs onto a pool now.

Himself actually made it home, will miracles never cease?! So, I made us a nice picnic, poured a lovely glass of wine and settled in. he let me watch Glee! and laughed at me the whole time while I said shaddup a lot. then he worked for 3 hours by the time he was finished I was tucked up in bed snoring (ever so gently) and someone said romance was dead! :D

The rumour in Muscat goes that Marina furniture has an outlet store in Dubai. Can any of you girls shed some light on this? Yes there is an outlet Marina store in the outlet mall - different to the warehouse. ooo, whats in that then claire?

it's just the warehouse store out on umm suquiem road. (desert side, not sea side) it's still expensive, has more of all the same things that are in the 'proper' store...but worth a look. I love marina...they may well be on sale at the moment? pinkys and luckys would be worth looking at for much the same sort of stuff for less $

maybe daiso for the costumes? But havent been for a while, so, hopefully someone can say more definitively. For an inexpensive folding gazebo, C4 have them for 200dh. For a more permanent structure...geant have nice iron ones. Games, particularly for girls that age...include a quietish craft one, maybe making a princess crown? we just had a butterfly party and I made all the games...b/fly bingo, musical b/fly, pin wing on b/fly, b/fly pinata, b/fly target practice with water balloons, and still they like to do the colouring, sticking things. odd creatures, girls :) hth

pamya...that email seems to mean that whatever festival the school was having tomorrow, has been moved to thursday. Has there been any mention of days off school? Our school has the next 3 days off, but that is our mid term break. or mid year break. the fact that it somehow coincides with the prophets birthday is obviously sheer luck rather than, um, organization. Our holidays at the school are mapped out the previous year, and lo and behold, theyre the holidays we get. weird, hey?

And you ladies don't lose your hope , maybe your husbands are planning on surprising you later ... highly doubtful...and then how awkward would I feel? he'll be lucky if he gets fed....

btw - let me know if you need anything from NZ, will be away for a month, but am taking orders, if you have a craving for anything! arent you a lovely? Yep, my hormonal migraines started after having lil miss, now 6. they have got progressively worse. I've been trying to balance hormones with evening primrose, lavender, yoga, and chiro, which has worked in the past...but if I get even slightly off schedule I am back to, well, headache yuks ville. and yes please, I could do with a couple of things from NZ. A friend tried to get them from ozzie just this week, but has had no luck. Theres a natu pharm (homeopathic remedies brand, blue and white packaging, google will be specific) the one we need is anti cramp, but for muscular cramp, not menses. its a spray for the tounge. actually, heres my email : ari underscore jo 2002 at yahoo dot co dot nz so that I can stop boring all of dxb with my shopping list!
