well, I headed off to the shops this morning bound and determined not to let my self be scoobied by dubai itis. My resolution didnt last past the first flaming shop! Someone obviously was far too important to wait turn in que (consisting of self, and herself, with myself in front) so pushed her way in and didnt have the grace to look even the slightest bit embarassed. Despiet the fact that I was laden down with 700 pillows and 4oo sets of sheets etc and her pushing past cause me to drop them. Grrr. So in the next shop when the dimwit attached to my elbow tried to give me eyedrops when I wanted a joint supplement, and a pharmiscist when i asked for vitamins I had to really really try hard to be polite. I hate shopping...

Oh FFS!! It's her choice she does not want her child to speak English with an Indian accent!! Is it ok to want to learn Italian with an Italan accent? Would it have been racist if the mother did not want her child to learn Italian with a French accent? Gawwwwwwd! lolol - yes but this is EW - you can't ask a simple question without it getting analysed and debated to within an inch of its life !! Sure you could just leave out "Indian" it could be "an" accent....right? Sue62 FFS nice......You need to have your hands washed out with soap. umm, sorry frances, but it wasnt sue62 ffs ing, but broken heart.

Ikea for the begining essentials...and theres a Hyperpanda supermarket in the same mall. Is festival city, and ideal for a man on his own....his attention span should last the distance for 2 shops at least! Also helpful is there is an ACE hardware store in the same complex.

Can't really answer your question specifically, BUT, you can just see who ever you like, get a claim form and be reimbursed and if thats any help. AXA has (from memory and from the old policy we used to have) a 20 pound whatucallit for unsolicited Dr visits, so you would just get the balance after that.

If it's any consolation to anyone worried about picking up accents, my daughter about the same age had the loveliest teacher but who had THE most dreadful accent. One of those english ones where they drop all the t's? So water become war'a, butter, ba'ar etc. Horrible. But, it made us laugh, and it's gone now (2 yrs later). While people from other countries say lil miss has a kiwi accent, people in NZ say she doesnt...it's an expat accent as has been said. And given she's quite a strong wee personality shes busy spreading the love and her accent is rubbing off on her friends :)

Yeh I'm thinking the same! So many of you are so organised! is himself's thing, he can't bear not to have the holidays all booked up and a spreadsheet going. I get powerpoint presentations. Also, theres specials that end 31st Jan, so we take advantage of those. Have to, was a big year travelling last year and we need to consolidate this year. Apparently. according to the presentation I was given last night. The weirdo.

I just had some kind of rheumatic flu and bronchitis, and it totally knocked me for a 6. Cataflam (or voltaren), paracetamol and neurophen, as freckles has said. and dr gave me anti biotics, but think that was for the bronchitis, not flu thing. My fever was always worse at night, and really the only thing that worked was massive amounts of sleep and rest. had it for 7 days really badly and after that fine. Hubby feeling fluey now.

Not long back from Kerala First to Muscat. Then a long weekend in the empty quarter again Then to RAK for a week Then dibba camping weekends for as long as we can stand the heat. Then to Malaysia and Thailand for 3 or 4 weeks depending on whether youre me or my hubby. And we've booked all our summer mini weekend breaks in Al Ain and RAK Thats the booked stuff up to september. Not sure after that, oh and I count camping weekends cos they feel like proper holidays to me! oh, and a long weeknd in Abu dhabi has been booked too. Shes not a lab...possibly has a bit of husky in her, very petite fine boned short haired dobeman colours. Lovely even features and markings. She's turning out to be a very loving animal. I would say email for a pic if you like but there appears to be something going on weird with yahoo. a friend just sent me a message and it opened a link to my personal banking! and sophia 07 can't send mail through... maybe try another day if interested, or a bit later. sounds good. i would love to have a look. Try the email when you get a chance, it appears to be working ok now i think. (is only addy we have! so it better) and I will send you pics.

Ours always runs the same course. We take our son to the chedi for breakfast and nip into see our grandchildren on the way home. husband might then go out to a meeting and I stay home with our son. . hubby comes home and the rest of the day is spent with various members of family popping in. mid afternoon our daughter usually appears with our little ones and we have a swim and a nursery tea. the old fashioned nursery tea is the highlight of my day - well that is till one of my sons comes in off a camping trip with his friends and to stand still in the kitchen means you're likely to be eaten. I like fridays and i'm never happier when I have all of my lot under the same roof and there's fighting and eating going on. love it. Makes me wish I had a brood and a half...proper family mrs :) we're not the waltons lolol - thats why I edited and added the bit about the barnies. I think the best one was when one brother threw the others snowboard out a bedroom window. :D when are you down here next? think is 17/18th feb? just for 1 or 2 nights. REALLY looking forward to meeting you mrs

errrm, i LOVE friday. Mia moo and I sleep in til oohhhh, at least 6. Himself is away cycling for 5 or 6 hours. We eat eggs, watch tele, this weekend will visit a market or two. it is our time to chill. so we do so. The rest of the week and usually our weekends are horridly busy, so we take what we can get.

Alternatively I have Jack and popcorn himself will collect us, probably early Alan, so no worries on the bolie. I have selected tonights menu and put the number on speed dial. now my bolognese is sad aww, don't be sad alans bolie. I shall bring my jack and coke, a menu and lil miss pj's and we will see how we go .... don't bring jack and coke...have a litre of the stuff (jack that is) and coke...think that will be enough? prolly, won't bother with vino?
