Ask your doctor to give you clomid tablets. They help you ovulate and then let mother nature do its thing ;) Best of luck!

The ones in dragonmart (which I own two from which work fab) are dhs30 each (might be a few dirhams higher now as I have had mine for two years already). The ones in ACE hardware start at dhs1250 (you read correct, its not a mistake).

It's always about Islamic studies and Arabic !! lol I know. Wish they would get better benchmarks to rate the school with other than the amount of arabic.

I use it but have never had to use it on a long flight. For some reason my kids sleep most of the flight and then watch movies non-stop. It helps if you dont let them watch any tv for at least two weeks before the flight so that they really look forward to watching some cartoons! Lol! My kids are 3 and 5 yrs old.

More established schools in Dubai do not put up with bullying and sort it out even before its properly starts. JBS is a super expensive school and you should not have to put up with this kind of torment. They are all trained and educated professionals and should of sorted it out long time back. Perhaps time to look for another school? One where your daughter will be happy and perhaps try to look for an older school where the teachers run the school and not the schoolkids. edited by Asti on 26/04/2013

You are too naive. This girl watched you crying and just breezed past you to collect her stuff? Cold hearted that one. Best of luck with whatever will happen. Hope you find happiness one way or another.

I can understand your frustration OP but even if the other driver is driving like an inconsiderate idiot, that doesn't mean you can pull in front of him and hope he will stop. I don't think that's the point, Daza, the same thing has happened to me three times in the past couple of days, I've been indicating to join a road from a slip road which is coming to an end, and instead of allowing me into the space that should be ample for my car, the driver coming up from behind (more often than not, a taxi-driver, for some unknown reason), [b'>deliberately speeds up[/b'> to stop me from joining the road. I nearly had an accident myself the other day, for that very reason. maybe they think they're speeding up to get out of your way so you can pull over - it may be safer than hanging back if they're unable to pull across.... I have also noticed that its always taxis who speed up when you want to join another road (even though you are indicating). Guess it makes them feel better being spiteful all the time. They obviously havent heard of karma...

A hot water bottle will worsen it. Your supposed to ice an inflammation for one hour or until its uncomfortable. This is what our chiro told us. Most people make that mistake too he told us.

Put up a notice at Spinneys. You might find someone wanting to do some babysitting for spare cash. Lots of mums do this even though its not technically 'legal' however nobody has ever really gotten into trouble for it.

I have to agree with Mrs.B. This sounds a bit too well thought off and it has possibly been brewing for quite some time. The daughter obviously has nothing better to do in her spare time currently however when she gets a boyfriend and doesnt have time to manipulate and brainwash daddy dearest he will wake up and it will be too late. You are being bullied by these two at the worst time. Its time to seek a lawyers advice... Mrs.B I take my hat off to you. What you went through as well is absolutely horrid and quite an eye opener.

huge fan of gellish but have been having it for months now and my nails have gone VERY thin, they're not the strongest at the best of times but I thought it best to have a break and now I'm missing my shiney nails :( havent had acrylic for years (used to always have them done in the Arndale centre in manchester) have they improved at all in terms of how natural they look? I always used to think that the thickness gave them away. Sorry to go off thread here... NBar does really good natural looking acrylic nails however they take 3 hours to put them on and 2 and half for refills!

When did u put their names for FS2?? U might try Victory Heights and Gems Al Khail as said by the previous post. I put his name down at both schools when he was 2.5 years old. thank you for the suggestions Ladies, I will check these out now. If you put his name down at that age and did not get into those school then something is wrong there....Perhaps your application got misplaced?

DD's nursery asked for aed 3000 as a deposit!?! Deductible, but not reimbursable, which means, as the OP said, a nice interest free loan. Asti, maybe it is common to all the nurseries, but do you know if it is legal? Where could I ask? The thing is, I already paid because the deadline was 2 weeks ago, but I am still not sure we will be in dubai in sept 2013... Anybody managed to get their deposit back? TIA You can check with the Ministry of Social Affairs for legality (MOSA). Nurseries do not fall under the KHDA (Knowledge and Human development authority) like schools.

My first thought was..............well the apple doesn't fall far from the tree..............and the OP might be better off without the pair of them. But on reflection, whilst that may be the case, it's probably most likely that DH was resentful that she had left him alone with the ****** Troll from H@ll. He may very well be terrified of young madam's tantrums and probably had a bellyful whilst the only real adult in the house was away, and needs someone to blame for his own feelings. And much easier (and guilt free) to make the OP out to be Wicked Stepmother than to admit he doesn't want the poisonous brat around. She's twenty, she's not a child, immature and spoiled but not helpless. Let her go. And then decide if you want to keep the other "child". Well said.

Monsoon season during summer in large parts of Asia. Keep that in mind when booking a holiday as you wont be able to see much with rain pouring hard. Bali is an option and if you stay in the Kuta area you can get really good deals on www.agoda.com. Lots of children there of all ages too.

Her leaving is a blessing in disguise. His reaction towards you stems from harbored guilt towards his daughter. It all came at the wrong time but it will be better this way in the long run. She obviously has you and him wrapped around her selfish little finger. Sorry for the pain your going through. x Hugs x.

Yes, assessment is passed otherwise she wouldnt even be waitlisted. Some schools let you know what number you are on the waitlist too so that you can have an idea if you stand a chance or not.

I have read through the Ts and Cs and there is nothing about term fees being non refundable. The medical fee and registration fee are non refundable and this is fine, however, there is nothing in the contract I signed about term fees. I have just spoken to the DED who were very helpful and have opened a case for me, so I will send them all supporting documents for them to follow up. It really is disgusting how these businesses operate and I will be telling all my mum friends to avoid this place as soon as the matter is resolved. Thanks ladies. Good for you. What some nurseries here get away with is plain daylight robbery. Hope you get a positive outcome. They are always very quick to take your money but refunds is like getting blood out of a stone.

Sounds like eczema to me. It comes and goes sometimes. A dermatologist would be able to advise which lotion to use and which ones to avoid. Sometimes you have to make dietary changes too. The weather in the summer usually worsens it too so sunblock is essential.

The rates in the gold vending machines are higher than the rates at the gold souk. Best to go early in the morning to the gold souk when you can still get parking and its not crowded yet. Rates are good in the morning too. Good time to buy gold now.

If he wants to use the villa for himself or family he must give one year notice. If he wants to increase the rent then 90 days notice. He cant do anything at this moment and you are entitled to stay in your villa.
