I have a Moulinex juicer (big red one). Works beautifully and it cleans easy too. Had a Kale and cucumber juice just this morning! :)

She clearly got pregnant last month. The heartbeat is only strong enough around 8+ weeks to hear and sometimes only until the 12th week. At least she is married so there will be no jail involved but she needs to go home and face the music. You would feel awkward having a pregnant women cleaning your home anyways.

We have lived for 15 years in the same flat. Our LL has started charging us dhs3000 for parking the last 3 years. It is not in the contract but if you tell him that he says you are free to leave and move somewhere else if you want. Now we just pay. Most parking slots in our building are empty now as people do not want to pay the parking anymore. Rent is bad enough and now parking space is the new way to get more money out of tenants.

Large bags in Organic shop. Nutrition shop in Dubai mall on basement level. I would go to the Organic shop if I were you. They have a good selection of chia,acai,quinoa and all those healthy types of goodies.

Keep it in a cooler box until 5min before slicing. Fondant pulls away from a cake when its hot so the cake will not look very nice if you keep it outside. If it comes already in a box then maybe just place ice bags around the box to keep it cool until cake slicing time comes.

I find the Bath and Bodyworks candles just as good as Yankee candles. I only buy them when they have a sale though as they are quite pricey at dhs90 for a large candle. On sale its usually dhs45. They all smell lush!

Eucerin has a great moisturiser that is just as good as Aveeno. Boots pharmacy should have it. Its specifically for skin affected by psoriasis and eczema. People will always look at you suspiciously if you say you dont want children. Dont be too bothered. From 35yrs old your fertility rate starts dropping dramatically anyways. They are probably worried you might change your mind when its too late to have children. Please do post your IUD experience. I am also considering getting one.

Go to RERA and take all your papers along to show as evidence. Details of lawyers too. Only RERA can get money from the property developer if he is in escrow or work out a payment plan. RERA can petition on your behalf to the property developer to repay the money back to you if they have any.

We were barely out of the airport when our taxi driver started screaming at another taxi driver. Dont really know what they were fighting about and then he took out his frustrations by driving like a hooligan back to our apartment. Just had to sigh and think of a happy place. :( When we got inside the elevator which was chock full of luggage and barely space for a mouse the delivery boy decided he cannot wait for the next elevator and squeezed himself in between our luggage making the elevator super cramped. Its illegal to work on a tourist visa. Your employer needs to do the proper documents before you come over. Tourist visa for working is not acceptable. You can get into a lot of trouble with the authorities if you do that. <em>edited by Asti on 13/08/2014</em>

Tummy tuck is a major procedure. Its not something I would do on my own without support and definitely not in a strange country. It takes long to recover too so you need to keep those expenses in mind too in addition to hiring a nurse caretaker as you wont be able to feed yourself or get up to get water or even clean/dress yourself. You are dependent on another person for quite some time so all that money that you saved on the procedure you would spend on the aftercare and accommodations in Thailand. Best wait longer and save your money for a home procedure where friends and family can take care of you. Loved people heal faster too ;)

The ban wont last long as UAE is a vital lifeline for Philippines economically but currently as the other posters have mentioned bring your helper direct from Hong Kong. You need to have a certain amount of salary and also have a two bedroom (or more) apartment to be able to sponsor domestic help.

Yuck! Two months with no proper cleaning? There are plenty of people who will take outside accommodation allowance and clean the offices or better yet just call a maid company and ask them to send someone to come clean the offices that way you dont have to pay accommdation/visa sponsor for a maid/cleaner. Dont continue cleaning their mess as they will later expect you to do that as it seems they already are...

Nobody sells paper parasols/umbrella for outdoors in Dubai as we have sandstorms and extreme heat. No paper parasol will ever stay intact here. Regular umbrellas are sold at ACE with the outdoor furniture department.

My husband swears by Dr. Charles Jones at California Chiropractic and Sports Medicine Center 04 429 8292. , very experienced when it comes to sensitive areas such as the back and neck, he's sorted him out quite a few times, put him back together again! Until the next time! I second Dr.Jones. I also suffer from stiff neck and he sorts it out. He also gives me exercises to do to prevent it from reoccurring again. Stiff neck usually comes from the back that is misaligned due to the way you walk or perhaps an old injury that was never sorted out properly. My back and hips is now correctly aligned and I follow my back exercises every day with my grid foam roller. My back pops in every time and it feels good and strong. Best of all no stiff neck! He is difficult to get an appointment with though....

The voltage here is totally different. Better sell your stuff and buy appliances here. Its not worth the hassle of having a house full of adapters and voltage converters just to have an appliance work.

Plenty of people have their lips done and do not have a trout pout. Many of them you would never guess their lips have been cosmetically enhanced as it is so natural looking. You just have to get the right doctor to do it and be conservative with the amount you put in.

If your nail technician is filing the top of your nails for shellac or gelish then she doesnt know what she is doing. No filing is needed as its basically a vinyl nailpolish that dries under a UV light. No filing whatsoever is needed. You only file the top of the nails if you are having false nails like acrylic or gel applied.

Scrub your skin the day before going so that your tan will last longer ;) . Pay special attention to your heels,knees and elbows. I personally love St.Tropez too. I am as white as they come and it looks so natural on me. No orange look.

Zantac syrup is better than infant gaviscon. Most pharmacies have it but for some reason doctors in Dubai prescribe Gaviscon which is a lot more difficult to give to the little ones. I had two kids with reflux so I know what you are going through. You dont need a prescription for Gaviscon or Zantac syrup. You can buy it over the counter. <em>edited by Asti on 05/08/2014</em>
