After holidays I will try to help you with platinumlist.
I spoke with the guy from Platinumlist. He confirmed that their system doesn't accept AE. The only option is to find a friend who will buy it for you with other bank credit card and reimburse money to that person in cash or bank transfer.

hahahaha sorry, fedup, but i'm really laughing)))) poor ladies! ok. let me explain. i came through ALLLLLLL you mentioned. i even came through separation when DS was 9 months old. we were going to counselor... what did he realized after sessions - he is getting terribly bored by being with DS, playing with him, taking care of him, etc. a lot changed when DS became 5 yo. now attention!!! later i watched one TV programm about men's behavior AFTER born of the kid. 99,9% are acting the way i faced / you described. firstly after born of kid there is a click in their head - now i'm responsible of more people. means i need to work more / harder. means i'm tired when i'm back home and need more care from my wife and rest. this is their (men) logic. women on contrary needs more care, help, support from men. honetsly - my eyes just opened after this program! so what you are facing is in their nature. it doesn't mean you should shut up. no. but just keep it in mind and try to be calm. and of course try to make reasonable deal regarding his involvement;) or you will be become really sick. forgot to mention - they are afraid to stay at home alone with small kids))) hope my comment helped you somehow.

AKD or TKD is good like any other kind of sports but it won't help to sort out issues with bulling. also don't count too much on school. better sit with your son and try to analyze what HE is doing to provoke such reaction, who are his friends, how they can help him, how can he become interesting for classmates and raise his image. actually this is just lessons of life. teach him how to survive. i'm not telling that your DS is doing smth wrong or it is his mistake. my son was bullied last year here in UAE just for being new at school. i told him - wait till next year and you won't be new. it worked! before that in home country he had been bullied for 3 years!!! i was begging ex DH to put him in another school / class but he refused point blank - he had to sort it out himself otherwise he will be always running from problems. last year before moving here he became among most popular students in the class. so now i can tell that he knows what does it mean being bullied, how to cope with it, how to survive in aggressive and new environment. these are important skiils...

Barbara, I had a very freaky experience this time last year; it was like vertigo and the flu all at once. We had just spent a lot of money moving here and I had no insurance--didn't even have a car yet. A taxi took me to the Iranian Hospital. I was given medicine for the nausea and fever (which I didn't knoe I had). Spent the night in the hospital. Yep-the whole night. They referred me to get a sonogram the next day, visit the ob-gyn, and bloodwork. (at the hospital--different wing, the next day). The doctors were amazing, IMO, and I had some excellent care before in the US. All in all, I was out around 270 dhs for everything. The sonogram was a whopping 5 dhs since they opted to refer me. Perhaps if you were to take him during or right after an episode, the specialist referrals that are given by ER, as in my case, will be quite affordable. More than anything, I felt the care was excellent, and that is most important. It turned out I had a cyst that burst and I would have never known where to go based on the symptoms I had. (severe headaches, tears flowing without crying, but no abdominal pain). I know this is absolutely different than what you're describing, but it it helps, good. thank you for information! one of my questions was about hospitals and doctors. Iranian hospital is in his network but i had doubts if we should go there or not.

dear ladies, all my family members have very bad experience in dealing with doctors here and abroad. we were using doctors both covered by insurance and not, expensive and not. this year my exMIL was sent to die at home by doctors from the hospital (not in UAE). thanks to my ex-H he didn't give up and continued to fight for her life consulting with doctors from different cities remotely. now she is in good condition. solution was given over the phone. life taught not to rely on doctors. that is why i want to be prepared before visiting them. i have no intention to diagnose the problem online. i want to create a list and exclude one by one with the help of doctors. and i'm attentive to each and every suggestion. hope you understand me better now and will continue giving your advices. yes, i know that MRI and etc. is expensive but hope it will be covered by insurance.

BG, you came asking for advice and have pretty much dismissed everything that has been said, so the point was what now?. Just send him to an optician, get his eyes checked and have a GP to a general work up. everything is not so simple. that is why i'm asking opinion of others. it looks that he should go to different doctors. sorry if my comments look shallow. i have no intention to waste anybody's time. i'm reading replies again and again, thinking about the situation. and i do appreciate each and every opinion. <em>edited by Barbara-Greens on 15/01/2012</em>

1. he can't read for long. starts feeling pain in eyes, headache and feeling very sleepy. it started 10 years ago but now situation became worse. he can't read even 1 hour. 2. he starts feeling headache from flashing lights - imagine you are in dragonmart... 3. sometimes he feels so dizzy that he can't go to the office. he even was loosing balance. he can't sleep on the back as he feels dizzy. 4. he has strong pain in neck and back after stressful hours. (probably this is just spasm) 5. once i did simple massage of neck and shoulders for him (I have certificate but didn't practice long ago. so i know what to do and how). he stood up, became very pale and so dizzy that we thought he will be getting sick. 6. from any kind of physical exercises he is getting tired very quickly. too quickly to be normal. he needs time to return breathing to normal level. and he is 33 only. 7. he has high level of cholesterol (family history). Cholesterol: 334 mg% &lt;200 Could you please advice me: 1. which doctor is better to visit - neurologist, cardiologist or some other? 2. what to check? 3. what kind of diagnostics better to have - MRI, CT, Doppler ultrasound? i assume he has problem with back and neck 4. which clinic is better? any kind of advice will be highly appreciated. TIA!!! From the list of symptoms and complaints, it could be as simple as eye problems (latent hyperopia which manifests with time and causing difficulty in concentration or binocular dysfunction in which keeping the eyes aligned is challenging and taxing and causing headaches), to migraines, but number 6 concerns me the most with regards to exercises that he tires too quickly to be normal. Unless he is really out of shape and with a heart condition, Myasthenia Gravis immediately pops to mind which fits some of the symptoms you have listed above. So I would probably see a neurologist first to rule out MG and others, and then proceed from there. from visual point of view he is in very good shape. but physically .... no comments. as for me i'm connecting it with high cholesterol level.

It sounds like typical symptoms of migraine. This can be brought on by eyesight issues, stress etc. Bad back symptoms are a sign of stress also. Back back can also cause/worsen migraine symptoms. Sensitive to light is also a symptom of migraine. I would definitely be looking into getting his eyesight tested for glasses. Visit a good chiropractor to re-align back and neck. Reduce stress. Excercise. I get all those symptoms you mentioned, and the above keeps the migraines from recurring too much. Some people swear by migraine drugs - it would be worth visiting a general practitioner for prescription or advice on that, and to rule anything else out and seek further tests (worth doing the above anyway, because not scans can detect those issues, so you should rule them out) I'm also suffering from migraine and know all symptoms. Don't think that he has it. But may be he should have encephalogram...

I would see an ophthalmologist and a neurologist. The former would look inside his eyeball to see for inflamed nerves. I'd get an MRI, but the neuro will decide and recommend. Sounds a bit like vertigo. Thank you for idea. I checked info about vertigo. Mmm don't think. But seems ophthalmologist should be included in the list of the doctors.

Mmm I don't have a medical background but just going on some of the things you've said, a visit to a good optician to check his eyes might be a start. With the feeling tired, long recovery after exercise etc he should get his blood sugar levels checked and maybe thyroid function as well. A lot of people feel dizzy when they get up from a massage as this stimulates blood flow in the muscles being worked, so not much abnormal about that. One of my friend also suggested to check blood sugar level and thyroid function. The way he reacted on massage was completely abnormal.

dear ladies, you all are well aware that health care system in UAE is poor. i want to ask advice of those who has medical background or have experienced the same symptoms. please note - i'm not asking for advice on medicine or any other treatment! this should be done by those who will take responsible for prescriptions. what i need is your advice regarding doctor/ clinics / tests. the problem is with my friend. he has the following symptoms: 1. he can't read for long. starts feeling pain in eyes, headache and feeling very sleepy. it started 10 years ago but now situation became worse. he can't read even 1 hour. 2. he starts feeling headache from flashing lights - imagine you are in dragonmart... 3. sometimes he feels so dizzy that he can't go to the office. he even was loosing balance. he can't sleep on the back as he feels dizzy. 4. he has strong pain in neck and back after stressful hours. Bindurai, though school is a big part of our kids life i would suggest smth else. you and your niece should do any kind of sport. 1 hour of sport is bringing endorphins to your blood. endorphin is hormon of happiness. firstly about your niece. 1. to increase endorphines level you should find out what will be inetersting for her to do - swimming, skiing, skating... team sport or not. check www.activeuae.com she will also be able to meet other kids there 2. it is very important to do smth from art. in your case i suggest dancing like nora dance studio or core studio. painting or playing music. you need to keep her busy with out of school actitivities. she also can tell friends about her achievements...think also about some pets. 3. try to discuss her classmates. with whom she wants to be freinds. what does each and every like? how she can attract them? what may be interesting for them? try to make home party and invite some kids... but it should be something funny... secondly about your depression. sport again but smth particular. if you want to get rid of your depression (it is both physical and health condition) you need to have long distance walking with NO THOUGHTS IN HEAD! not in the gym! it should be in the park, street, everywhere but not gym at this stage. you should feel dead because of it. 5-10 km per day. every day. better if you will be listening to soft music. once i read a book about stress and depression. it was written by doctor. i don't remember explanation of how it works and why it works but the main treatment was long distance walking in good speed. good luck to both of you!

Sign in into your account and do a search for the dates you want. If your husband is a muslim, he is obligated to devote himself to his parents whether he is married or not. I know it can be a bit overpowering, but i've heard of much worse! (my friend's husband makes her sit in the back of the car and his mother sits beside him in the front :\: ) Hope it all works out. I'm not muslim. My ex MIL is not muslim but I was always selecting back seat out of respect. kiwispiers replied : [color=#6600CC'>Don't cloud the issue by bringing his family into your arguments, figure out what behaviour around the house is bugging you and demand he respect you. (cook dinner at a proper time and if he doesn't eat it, let it go cold).[/color'> It won't be cold dinner. It will be cold war!!! fragile peace is always better than any war battles...

sigh... there a one thing which was not covered in previous replies. the problem is cultural difference which men are using. what i mean - when arab man will marry arab woman he MUST behaive in appropriate way otherwise ALLLLLLL her family members will start making his life difficult. in your case you are alone. by alone i mean NO PROTECTION FROM CULTURE & TRADITIONS. this is very sad. i would suggest you asking him once if he is acting this way because there is nobody behind you... as for "routine" better to call it traditions of the family. you are right - you need to create them. in this case i would ask MIL's help to create such traditions for your young family. my advice - 'fight' (sorry for using too strong word) him with his own weapons! you should make your MIL be on your side. be your real MOTHER-in-law. as for feeling sad or annoyed by smth. try to speak with RIL exaggerating your sad feelings. e.g. 'oh, i'm ready to burst into tears when saying smth uncorrectly in arabic...' but don't feel it inside. this is like a game;). though keep in mind that games should be played from time to time only))) and one more thing. sad unfortunately. in ALLLLLL cultures men's behaviour before marriage and after marrige can significantly change...

It may be due to many reasons: 1. hairs lost elasticity. try to take vitamins, Omega-3 or Omega-6, oil for hair 2. you are using smth new (conditioner, lotions) 3. refresh haircut - for me it helps 4. if nothing helps and the problem is in hairspray only... well... my favorite is in big black bottle with pink ornament (Tres... smth don't remember exact name). shampoo of the same brand is also the best for my hair.

I have a male friend who seems to be drawn to you lovely ladies, he has dated quite a few and been in a long term relationship with one. My question is whether it is the cultural norm for Eastern European girls to expect their boyfriends to always pick up the bills (drinks, food, taxis etc) and never share any bills? My friend said that this is the culture and that if he wants to date Eastern European girls then he is happy to do this? My worry is that his good nature is being taken advantage of? Can you please tell me what is the norm? TIA Even in the name of the topic I can hear generalization. The question was not about men/women attitude to paying bills. It was about EE ladies and it makes me feel sad. I AM EE LADY. So what? Here in UAE we can hear very often - Britishers are ...., Indians are ..., Russian are ..., locals are... I'm always feeling bad when people are generalizing and making assumptions on nationality basis. As for paying bills I'm teaching my son never allow your girl to pay when you are inviting her out.
