We were in Phuket in August last year and it rained quite a lot...but the rain added to the lovely weather specially when u go from living in Dubai. Yes one cant go & do water sports but just sitting out under an umbrella or walking along patong beach market with the hotels provided big black umbrellas was great fun.

You can also get an International Driving License at Dnata Travel Centre on Shk Zayed Road. You get a 25% discount if you pay with a Dnata Emirates NBD Platinum credit card. There is hardly any rush there so you would be better off getting your license at Dnata.

The same jeweller should do it for free unless the fallen diamond is a big one. The setting obviously has a loose clasp & hence the diamond fell off. Take it back to Pure Gold & insist they replace the diamond free of charge.

I had a similar problem LuLee but it went thanks to laser hair removal. Yes it was expensive as I paid AED2000 almost 4 years ago for half legs, knees & below but it is money well spent. Go for it.

You can visit the immigration office on the Ground Floor of the Dnata Travel Centre on Shk Zayed Road. There is hardly any rush there and is a great find for me personally.

Newbe which Dnata outlet did you visit? I recommend u visit the Dnata Travel Centre on Shk Zayed Road. They have a Hajj & Umrah dept on the Mezzanine floor and u will get all the information u r looking for. They r the experts in this, & u shld visit them to remove all your doubts.

I have a Nepalese house boy and I also send him back to Nepal through Delhi. Costs me more money and him the travel but he prefers this arrangement as he says that the immigartion at Nepal harases him when he tries to come to Dubai from Nepal. There is no problem in sending him back & forth to Delhi so I really recommend u do that.

I agree with Sleepy. I loved Eurodisney & so did my boys who were 4 & 6 yrs old at the time. I would recommend that you call Dnata 8008118 as they have some very good all inclusive packages to Euro disney. Have fun.

JS my heart goes out to you. I have witnessed so many similar stories and it is heart breaking to hear of people having such issues with their parents. I had a very loving father, May God rest his soul in peace, and my mother is adorable. But then I have huge issues wid my older teenage son....so life is a leveller and everyone has issues to deal wid. Just be a good person and do your best and leave the rest in Gods hands. I like simples suggestion that u should consider going back home 2 b wid your mum in her last days. She obviously craves your company as u said she complains that u r not by her side. I wish you all the best and send u a hug. Take care of yourself x
