I agree with Holly's recommendation. Dreamland Aqua Park is much better for a 4 year old. Less intimidating.

No comparison between Luftansa & Emirates. I would also recommend that u spend that extra bit (know it can be difficult) but only because u r travelling with your baby.

Fitness Firat at Knowledge Village also have some good Yoga classes. So does the Ballet Centre in Jumeirah offer Yoga classes. All the best.

In case you cant do the Visa renewal online, you can go to Dnata Travel on Shk Zayed Road. They have a DNRD counter which is not crowded at all. You can get your work done in minutes.

You can carry a nice passport size photograph wid u if u dont want one taken there. They will click a picture of that instead.

I second that Champion Cleaners are really bad, gave them some beautiful tops I got from Kookie and they came back enlarged from the neck, shoulders...almost every where...Grr%^&**$#@@

I second that the Holiday Inn Resort in Phuket was great. I would stay there again, the kids loved it too. For other suggestions on Thailand, you can call Dnata Holidays at 8008118 they have several packages to Thailand.

Be very careful with rebonding as two of my friends lost almost half their hair post rebonding. It can really make your hair fall so a wrd of caution here.

We had a Golden Retriever for 9 months & had to give him away to the do trainer as he bit almost everyone in our family. My kids have been heart broken sine then. I would love to take your dog and give him abeautiful home. We stay on the Palm in a villa on the beach. Pls call me on 04 3166249.

I lived in Jakarta from 1992 - 1995, great expat life...maids galore...very laid back life. Traffic was a nightmare & the city had only 2 good international schools at that time. The American & British schools, but I'm sure a lot has changed in the last 15 years.

Hi Danjen, have never tried Hormuz Tours but would highly recommend Gulf Ventures for their desert safaris. They are priced at AED295 pp & have a fabulous camp site in the desert. I would say be cautious chosing the right supplier as I have heard of nasty mishaps in the desert with small time tour companies. All the best.

Thongs are necessary if u wear fitted pants. Its v unsightly to see those knicker lines on the sides. Otherwise I agree thongs r not the most comfortable of garments :-)
