Wok in at the Movenpick at Deira is fab,on Friday brunch 225includes drinks. They have buffet with sushi ,soup, salads (Thai ) finger food and sweets. Then main course you order off the menu so hot when it arrives and can order as much as you like. Lemongrass behind Lamcy plaza is fab and highly rated Grand Hyatt also a a more casual one think called wok on in, they cook there in front of you and very good price

I notice a few remarks from fellow EW,who have made comments about their younger years. We are women or were girls who are much more mature in our teenage years. You cannot compare boys and girls at the same age. Not sure if you have teenage boys but they are NOT responsible enough to make their own decisions! As I have 3 boys, well 2 are men now, they definitely need to have boundaries set in place early

As I'm from the Gold Coast this is such a regular event! DS friend who is a ski paddler has had his car broken into 3 times in the last year, after they stole his car keys left in a bag on he beach. One of the few ways is the key pad on the drivers side or the old fashion keys you have to use by putting it into the lock.

1st off buy Fine Dining Entertainer book. You will get back the cost from your 1st dinner. Also can check out where to go in your area and which restaurants have the food you are interested in. Great time to buy at the start of the year and guarantee that you will use it heaps

Look into Etihad as they are doing a huge recruitment drive. DS went thru the EK process and made it thru to final interview ,but was told sorry next time. The whole process took 3months. In August applied to Etihad and from interview to starting was under 1 month. During August they had interviews every week and are looking at more English and Aussie people where as EK have gone more towards Asians

Depends where you are from if you find it cold! Even though the water is heated little ones will find it too cold unless they stay under the water all the time. The outside air and slight breeze makes it very cold when you are wet

We went to Meridien Village on Christmas eve. Beautifully decorated and of course the band so bit entertainment.310 dhs each so yes good value, only they didn't have too much variety in cocktails and no champagne!.As usual food is good, not fantastic ! as we were all adults very good night.

Yes, Got the Cobone deal. It was worth it as we just bought it again. Fortunately we had our DS drive us there and then pick us up again otherwise the cab fare would be high as we live Festival City area. Not over the top in variety of food but what they had was good. They do all the roast meat on the buffet ,but if you want other main courses, like fish, veal, pork, chicken then you order off the menu. The cheese area is to die for,the deserts ,well good not fantastic. You have your choice of a few beers, couple of nice wines and then a few cocktails, but the waiters are great and always refilling. Finished at 4 so at 3.45 the waiter came around and offered to bring back lots as final call, so we were there for a good 30 min more. Overall a good Brunch as we sat outside ,they had a singer as music but dont think we would pay full price!
