Tonight they are getting dry food (Eukanuba) as I didnt have to time to shop. They normally eat uncooked chicken thighs or legs. Vet back in OZ told me they have perfect teeth from eating bones and can eat chicken uncooked bones and very good for them

Thats because most kids are still at school till end of June, well mine are! So no company can gets places to run them and only a small % of kids will go..so no money in it for them

I know that Emirates Palace and Atlantis has resident deals. Has anyone heard of Zighy Bay having any deals? Want to go in July or August as staying here and not working. we are doing the 1 night stay at lots of 5* hotels just for something to do. Babs al Sham is on our list also

Depends on your passport. If u are coming back in with a resident visa then u have to fly out of the country otherwise just drive to Hatta over the border then come back in.

Depends on which end of Dubai u live? Airport end try Meriden ..Warehouse, or Yalumba which does not allow children, Intercontinental at Anise is FAB or go all out and try the Burj Al Arab After all it is his 50th.

look up www.vacationstogo.com as they have every cruise in the World. DS booked 1 thru them and got a great deal. Otherwise have a look at Silverseas as they include everything..wine,beer,tips etc. Friends are on 1 at the moment and said they are 6*. We are looking at doing 1 with them next year from Venice to Istanbul

Ds had it last year ,lasted 3 months. Physio told him only wear great joggers like Asics with good support and as soon as u get out of bed put them on. NEVER go bare foot.Always wear very supportive shoes even if they are ugly. Get a golf ball and roll your foot on it for about 10 min a few times daily. Really nothing a DR can do.

145,000 is about the normal for a 3 bed apt. They are not cheap and the last villa rented was 235,000 but NO more there are so many empty and have been for past year but they will not rent them only sell.

Fabulous if u can get in that is. I know at the moment only Hillside available. There are NO villas as they are trying to sell them and will not rent them out! We have been here 3 years and seen the improvements. So many young children so if u have them they will love it. No negatives ..only that the pool area is packed at the weekends now and they sell memberships and people from Mirdiff come here. Hopefully u get in but don't count on it!

Don't go there!!! If u want your child to learn to swim play with them in the pool and show them what fun it is. If u really want something get the one that goes around their waist with foam pads that u take off as they get better. How do u think they can swim if they have something around their arms which doesn't allow them to pull thru the water.

More greenery...Trees, shrubs etc. So many schools have nothing but concrete around them and then not a lot of shade cloth. They expect everyone stays inside all the time. Older DS said what he took for granted in lovely big trees and grass at his school in OZ is missing here. No wonder people are lacking in Vitamin D here Keep planting for the environment

As my sister used to work for a florist back in OZ I can tell u not many will deliver on Sunday! Best way to order find out the closest florist to where u want to deliver ,then call them from here. DH sent me some when I was still living back in OZ but they have so many orders they will prob even deliver on Thursday or Friday.
