You will apply for your resident visa straight away. Your husband ..DH. Is your sponsor. They say on it that if you don't reside here for more than 6 months a year it will be cancelled. You have o get a medical which is a blood test and X Ray then apply for visa. Also be warned that the cost of canceling the tourist visa you enter on then transferring to resident sometimes better to fly out of here, only to Muscat , then return ... Sounds strange but most have done it.

What are you wanting to know. 20weeks...well you probably want to get him a resident visa. To have one you are suppose to live here a min of 6 months .

QUT is in the heart of the city right on the river. So if the family is going to live there then no probs easy transport from anywhere. OP 10 not sure what 10/81 is but a 10 is average. to good. Go to website www.domain.com and have a look at real estate. Hard to tell you which suburbs to look at as I dont know what you like.

Snobbery is alive and well even in Dubai ! Thats why I wonder why Qld uni instead of a more prestigious one down south. A nephew did law at QUT even though he could do at Qld Uni said better but then just 1 persons opinion. Ranking of Universities World wide was just released and must say only Bond made it in Qld. <em>edited by basil on 18/03/2012</em>

It covers tuition and you repay after you start earning over a certain amount. DS , another 1 is doing a business degree on line and you do 24 components and usually cost around $1000 each. Does that make sense?

Iam not an expert on getting into or applying for Qld Uni but am from there. 1st and foremost get a tax file number. Go to ATO and look how to apply. I looked recently for DS but as he is still at school the school applies for them back home. Give them a call! All universities work on supply and demand. The best Uni is Qld Uni then QUT. Griffith has heaps of campus but depends on what he wants to do. Not sure how they convert his grades to Qld system of OP. but now there is a way. Why not go to the Qld school here and ask ? July is when they start taking applications as most won't start till the following Feb. Most kids apply for their 3 preferences then as they know what OP they are going to get. Give you an example DS friend wanted to do engineering but Qld Uni you needed a 4 but at Griffith on the Gold Coast he only needed a 12 Hope this gives ou an idea

Little bit chilly in Winter to go to Central Australia, especially to swim? Children aged 15 to 9 is Ok but younger NO! Great ski fields only a drive from Canberra or Sydney

Do children that age really want to sightsee? Mine didn't just go somewhere to have fun like beaches,theme parks etc Last Friday there was a great article in Gulf News about family friendly Malaysia. Maybe that would be better or if OZ is what you want go snow skiing

Wear them all the time so I have tried many. Laura Mercier is tops but don't think sold here. Dior and Bobbie Brown are good. Really love Guerlain Terracotta skin but don't think it has SPF, but beautiful to wear

Went last July... Loved it as sat by or in the pool all the time. It is slightly cooler but still hot. Didn't do the outside dinner as would of been uncomfortable. 2 nights is good

NO ..Libra went in as managers for Taleem, but never paid their bills!... Well what's news ? Unfortunate for the children doing after school activities but Libra were given over 2 months warning to pay up or else get out. Kaba ,who was your LO swim coach maybe I can help?

Deira International School, near Festival City has an IBCC course. This is IB also for 2 yrs but career related. They have already had a open night for parents so maybe call them as very hard to get in due to increasing numbers. My DS is also 16 but in grade 10 due to arriving here mid year from OZ. He will be enrolling in it after grade 11.

It is true to say that it is not the agency but the worker, but the agency does train them in what to do. Housekeepingco.com is great. The lady who runs it is English and seems to be very hands on. I had never used an agency before but now my cleaner is always early, cleans things that haven't been done in ages even without asking.

DS gets 15dhs per day for his lunch at school as well as 150 pw for pocket money. He has to pay for phone credit,movies,food,taxis etc. with that

Good Luck! All I wanted was a calendar with maybe puppies,scenery,funny cartoons etc on. But no all you get here is Dubai or UAE photos. I know back home we have stalls selling nothing but calendars in December. Maybe a calling for someone to import?
