I gave birth first in Latifa hospital as I had a case of a low laying placenta and it was the safest hospital to give birth in, in terms of experience, blood bank, and any kind of emergency. My experience with them was good, they were able to save my womb, and I recovered fine afterwards. I would say the only disadvantage would be that you do not get to pick your doctor. You get to be assigned a team, and a consultant and you will be seeing every appointment a doctor from that team. The advantage of course is that the nurses, midwives, are the BEST in Dubai. The hospital is very strict when it comes to breastfeeding, there is no nursery for the kids to be placed in. The baby is placed with the mother, and you have to breast feed the baby and attend to the baby yourself. My second time giving birth was in Al Garhoud hospital, mainly because the doctor that I was seeing Dr. Abeer AlGergawi was in that the hospital. I was seeing her with first pregnancy, but with my placenta problem she advised me to go to Latifa hospital. Dr. Abeer, and Al Garhoud hospital were all great. Their packages are reasonable unlike city hospital. The aftercare was great, the nurses that attended to me were excellent however I did not feel the same with the nurses that were in the baby's nursery. Dr. Abeer is a very busy doctor, you need to really love her to be waiting for your appointments. She is very popular as she is very honest, loving, warm, kind and very dedicated to her job. She is very experienced and is very much pro natural birth, and she is not commercial like most doctors here. I felt that my experience with Garhoud hospital was that it is more luxurious, and I felt I was being pampered as opposed to my experience with Latifa hospital. Wishing you a safe delivery.

Ladybird Nursery - Jumeira branch behind box park. It is an old nursery, since 1998, very warm and cosy. British managed, and it follows the EYFS and Montessori curriculum. Very caring and loving teachers, principal, admins, and teacher assistants. They are very flexible in terms if you want to put your kids 3 days, 4, or 5 days and you can choose to put them in the earlybird club or the late club depending on your pick-up drop of timings, and I have seen a cute little bus too. I loved their settling in policy, whereby it is gradual and not brutal. They respect and celebrate all cultures, and it is a very nice warm community where everyone knows everyone. The nurse is on ground with the kids all the time during playtime which is nice.

Maybe you need to contact the school to understand the program better. I understand that kids in IB schools get the option of either sitting for IB diploma certificate or they can either go for the career related programme which is more career focused but both sit for exams.

Hi ladies, Good evening, I would love to know if some one of you try the new machine that it lost 30% of cellulite in one session honestly I don't know the name of the machine or the treatment so can you help me please I need to do it in my hips and in a trustful place & a good offer any help in that ladies thank you. Hello, I advise that you drink a cup of warm water in the morning with lemon, wait 15- 20 min before having breakfast. You need to exercise, I personally love climbing stairs. Start with going up and down 20 stairs - 20 times, for 3 days and then try to add more extra 10 times gradually as you build your stamina and strength... until you reach 50.. I did that for a month, 5 days a week and I noticed difference with my thighs, hips, love-handle. You also need to adjust your diet, eat more greens, and stay away from sugar and fizzy drinks, and eat a low - carb diet. Goodluck it is not impossible but i personally did try a fat burning/cellulite machine at one of dubai skin clinics and it did not work. I paid for a package and I did not notice any difference. You need to exercise, detox, and eat clean.

You cannot force her to complete her contract as you have family, and you do not want her to hurt your kids or herself. You can try to negotiate and find a middle ground if you really think it is worth keeping her. I am not sure how you recruited her but it is always less risky to hire someone fresh from their home country with no experience through an agency. They tend to be more professional in terms of honouring their contract. I understand your troubles as I had troubles keeping a maid for years.. Wish you all the best, and good luck!
