Not sure about Dubai, but in Abu Dhabi you need to go and contact SAEED, who are doing the accident investiagtions on behalf of the police, unless there are any deaths or serious injuries involved. Both parties need to give a statement to the official, whereupon you will be issued with a notice, which you need to take it to your insurance company. Without that note, they will not get your car fixed

All you need is an annex to the existing contract to extent the lease by one month. The rest of the contract remains the same

The list is endless... A must add to the list though is travelling the wine route and have a relaxing lunch at one of the wine farms. Emirates flies directly to Cape Town. Is less stress than going via Johannesburg if you have 2 kids in tow edited by blokkop on 16/04/2014

The Falcon Hospital is very good for pet boarding and also very cheap in providing vet services. There are various other vets as well and their prices are all on par with each other. We use German Vet in KCA, as it is just around the corner.

Hi there, when we applied for the renewal of our residence visa, we had to submit a copy of the tenants agreement. We did not ask the reason behind it, but it might be that they wanted to check if we reside in Aub Dhabi or not

It is referred to as Flight and duty time and strictly regulated by the General Civil Aviation Authority. It is a specific time formula which must be adhered to. It is not only calculated for a specific flying time, but how many flight hours have been accumulated over a period of 30 days amongst many other restrictions.

What about Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. They have got various musical shows "World Beat" to offer daily from 28 March to 06 April 2013. Shows start at various times throughout the day. Should be really fun in addition to the rest of the entertainment.

You need to go to the local municipal office of your area with your original tenants agreement and a copy, which will be certified by an official of the municipality. We went to our landlord and explained our situatuion to him. He went to the municpality and got all the answeres from them. He modified our tenants agreement, we took it to immigration and they accpeted it.

U make a bid using a sliding scale with an minimum and maximum amount. As mentioned, you normally get the email 2 weeks in advance, but they only notify you a day before departure if you have been succesful or not. In the past they also phoned us to inform us of a special regarding the upgrade, but I guess it has been discontinued when they introdcued the "plusgrade" serivce edited by blokkop on 10/07/2012

There is no such thing as a Dubai visa. It is a UAE visa. The place of issue might be Dubai, but that is irrelevant. If you hire a maid in Abu Dhabi you need to produce the rental agreement for your accommodation in Abu Dhabi, take it to the General Directorate of for Naturalization and Residence in 19th Street (Al Saada).
