C4 at MoE but not the burgers. Lulu does sometimes veg burgers but not Linda McC's. Tofu we buy at Waitress. The Organic Foods and Cafe recently added a whole range of veg products, including tofu and tempeh.

Carefour has brown one but don't think they are organic. Organic food and Cafe if you want organic only.

Hi, depends which building. Renting a Shorline apartment gives you access to the beach club and also to the gym for your family only. If you have visitors they have to pay per visit per person.

Marina and JBR are nice if you like living in a flat but traffic is a nightmare. Weekends and leaving in the morning for school are the worst. Also there are many places with loud music going until late at night so you need to choose carefully. Park islands and Jumeirah Island are close to Jebel Ali and offer living in a villa.

Western families do generally pay more than other nationalities or at least it is the general perception. I agree it does not guarantee anything. Daza, looks like you really had 'fun' hiring someone. Hope you find the right person at the end.

I had seen on Ryanair that if one pilot is out of the cockpit ( To visit the loo etc) then a cabin crew member take their place until the other pilot returns This is correct. DH used to work for them. Never liked flying with them but this is crazy!!!

I know Jebel Ali did welcome books before their fair a couple of weeks ago. Not sure whether it is regular. My friend did the same for another school but not sure which one. Feline friends is a good idea and I think I will be donating to them, it is for a good cause. I think the Garden Center has a second hand corner section and you can donate books there. ACE at Festival city used to also sell second hand books and maybe accept donations.

I know how you feel Parsley. I went thought it and it can be overcome. For me it was yoga, supplements and improved diet and lots of naps :-). I in the UK I did every blood test out there done that they could think off, saw many doctors and was told I will have to live with it but then 5 years later, I am fine but I know many are not so fortunate. Good luck, it is a long journey but I am sure you will overcome it :-)

It is easier if you can hire her as something else rather than an au-pair, my friend hired her au-pair as an employee for her company. I think you can hire an au-pair from your country if she is over 40 years old. Not sure if it is still true.

If you can employ her as something else, she can come here. My frind's husbands company sponsored their maid. Don't know of any other solution. If she comes via HK, I think you might face issues when she goes home on holidays.

Get yourself a good PRO who will organise it for you, lots of headache with registration otherwise. Talk to some of the other food truck companies they might be happy to point you to the right direction
