U r not alone for sure...having ballooned from size 6 to Size 16...its been crazy with infertility treatments and hormones and wat not...weight was not a concern with me as long as I was not down with any ailment. But wght comes with heavy cost...sooner or later...got severe back and knee issues wch simply boil down to bng over wght! For health reasons am back to watching wat I eat and not resorting to binge eating more often cause Dubai social life is worst if u want to loose wght!! wishing u happiness and healthy life irrespective of your size!

Yes you can change; u will be given an option to confirm seats or you want to change seats. Quick bag drop ques are fast moving as there are multiple counters open. If you have only one checked in baggage per passenger you can drop at the self service kiosks too.

shall we start a new thread? In which we will daily translate a sentence in our own languages like Arabic, English, French, Hindi, Urdu etc etc So we can learn to speak each other's language (a little bit :)). Anyone can start a new sentence (Any word, phrases, verbs etc etc). Sentence for today [b'>My name is Fatimaa[/b'>[u'>[/u'>. Mera naam Fatimaa hay (Hindi) Mera naam Fatimaa hay (Urdu) . :\: edited by Fatimaa on 31/10/2011 Same in Bengali: Amar naam Bubble_trubble!

If it's a heavily restricted fare then any changes would mean coughing out steep penalties which seems to be the case here...sad but way of business nothing personal. Last minutes changes if catered to without penalties would mean serious breach of planning for the airline..type of aircraft etc to be put in for a particular sector. Just a note of caution: please ensure you read the fine print and ask loads of questions when booking on what seems to be cheaper fare as it comes with a huge price. Better to book a ticket with less restrictions...just IMO..

Just to put a bit of perspective...i was found with vit D deficiency(this year) as told by doc coz we are so hooked on to sunscreen that we dont' get the minimal amount of sun exposure too. He suggested to have sunblock during peak time of the day and go with out sunblock during the evening sun time...same goes for kids too.

any of you ladies have "brownies" at the moment...same age as my kids? which group are they at? springs, arabian ranches, mirdiff, etc My DD is a Brownie with the Springs chapter... am an Indian; was a girl guide back home and don't think the Brownie promise is any way offensive or d...for me it's the sense of duty and responsibility that matters the most, irrespective of whether you serve the Queen, believe in which ever religion...its GOD... all encompassing! I have just told my kid this promise is generic to UK citizens, take bits of relevance out of it and ignore bits which dont' apply to us.... we belong to democracy....no Queen!! And she is 8 but has taken it well...... :)

Indian tradition consider black cat to be harbinger of bad omen...completely unjustified and not scientific at all but thats how silly superstitions are! Each to their own...as long as black cats are not abused only coz they are black...now that will be sad!

Oh dear.... conveying to DH is the key I guess coz all men aren't very savvy wen it comes to kids...especially growing years. Just communicating to him how imp it's to have a Dad being around is..may be he will come to his senses. One of my frnds DH was like that with the first kid but by the second kid he got his act sorted....
