My empathy is with you... I suffered of migraines from my teens up to menopause every first/second day of period, then they miraculously vanished. When I stopped taking (any) medicines about midway through (due to a frightening accident while under the influence of these migraine medications) and needed to find other relief, my eventual help came mainly from acupressure by laser, aromatherapy and rest. As soon as my symptons started about 4 to 5 days prior to period, I started with acupressure and constantly used essential oils (especially peppermint and lavender). When started early enough, it would ward off the migraine, or at least reduce the severity. I hope you can find some remedy that works for you other than those dreadful medications that turn one into zombies without realizing!

I had some very nice food at the Noodle Room (Murjan cluster); also at BBQ Delight (a very sumptuous buffet North Indian style) on the Walk opposite the large parking... Wherever you go, enjoy and bon appetite...

It appears that, although they had the DMCC (freezone) approval and cooperation, police disallowed the event in the open air for reasons of their own. Perhaps something to do with licencing? And no, not very well attended, lots of unsatisfied participants - seem to be the only one who's done relatively ok... Next market planned for March 4 when they hope to have these matters sorted!

Hi Conster, this is a new neighborhood market organized by one trader in cooperating with DMCC, and it will continue every Friday till April. I believe this second event will have abt 40 tables - don't know what they all offer as I am not part of the organizers. Last week was small but quite lively with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere along the lake... There was a gym, The Holistic Institute, clothes, jewelry, porcelain, etc. (my offering is in my name). I am quite excited helping to develop the neighborhood, meeting the neighbors, so to speak....

Hi Magyera, you have all my empathy, know how difficult that is... Now knowing, of course, your particular experience, I dare venture a few suggestions - my apologies should they be inappropriate... First and foremost, allow yourself feeling that pain, expess it if you like by writing it down, screaming, crying - all but suppress it! Secondly, on a sheet separated into two columns (pro & con/good & bad) write down all your feelings, experiences, etc. Often, in a situation of separation/divorce, you will find the bad outweighing the good by 5:1 or more. Perhaps seeing that actually in front of your eyes helps to accept that a particular "arrangement" has not been as good as we would have liked it ... and is perhaps better out of the way so we can go on to better and bigger things? Thirdly, in strict (& often very painful) honesty, analyse just how much of your ego is involved? Whichever way you handle it, time and love - mostly for yourself - are the greatest healers. Wishing you well...

Well, one party in cooperation with the DMCC Freezone Authority organized a community market that now will take place every Friday from 10 am to 4 pm between Cluster B & C. Everyone welcome to participate or visit... Last Friday was a great get-together and meeting the neighbours... come and join!

Hi Smilies, do check yur tenancy contract. Only in recent years has it become common that the outgoing tenant pays for painting after vacating a property, as long as its is returned neat and tidy. Perhaps you are still on "old style" contract?
