Is this produced by the Swiss nail product company Mavala? If so, could it (being a children's product) be sold by the same outlet that sells Mavala nail products? And, if so, then you possibly could find it in the pharmacy located in the Magrudy Center on Jumeirah Beach Road, Jumeirah 1.

Thanks crystals. I live in Icon 1, drop in and see me sometime! Hi Exile... not so far from my Lake View Tower. So, perhaps, see you some time! Meanwhile, any questions about oils, or crystals for that matter, do write...

Hi DesertRose, thats another Crystal... but, from some of your previous posts, I have a feeling we might know each other, both having lived here for many years (since 75 in my case). Would love to chat or email: crystalsindubai at yahoo dot com. Till soon, I hope. Monika

@manubhadauria: a word of caution: only some very few oils are ok to use pure on skin such as lavender, for instance. In the case of most essential oils it is imperative to dilute it with good base oil such as jojoba, apricot kernel oil etc. Of course, for burners you add perhaps 3 or 4 (max) drops of oil to water. Enjoy! edited by crystalsindubai on 03/08/2011

@ exile: guess better be careful with toddlers around candles.... but have no idea about electric burners. Btw, if you "Like" The Holistic Institute's FB page you receive their regular newsletters, and the current one talks of a workshop on essential oils on Aug 16. Perhaps of interest? Living in JLT as well... which tower are you in?

Why not have your negatives uploaded to a CD for record purposes, then print only the really worthwhile photos?

Hi Exile! Thanks for asking, love talking about essential oils and their many uses... Just to clarify, I use essential oil frequently for my own personal use - and I insist on 100% pure oils. In my experience, the best, purest oils (from Essentials) in a large variety you find at The Holistic Institute (check on FB), together with instructions and/or teaching of the art. Personally, I wouldn't used electric burners as you would be exposed to further e-smog as we already are - why not use a few drops of oil in a tealight burner? The effects of essential oils are wonderful in very subtle ways - use: - sweet orange or lemongrass to uplift your mood - lavender to relax / sleep / headaches - basil & camomile mix for heartburn, indigestion and for sooo many different uses! There are quite a number of very good books available to familiarize yourself. Enjoy the experience... Always happy to part with further information.

Was in the same situation earlier this year. Upon consultation with RERA, they advised against an extension (this term officially does not exist at Rera) as a 3-months notice period is enforceable, or so they say. It has not as yet come to the test.

Had good experience with Eazy Moving & Storage in Al Qoz, tel 971-4-343 5001. The premises are clean, cooled, easy 24-hour access and reasonably priced. I would agree with Monkey Face that this should not be the landlord's concern (except perhaps to get his own furniture returned in "as is" condition).

Whilst you find the right outlet to exibit your art, you could always start with Arte Souq - there are two Ramadan evening events at Dubai Festival City, and from September onwards one Friday at Time Square, one Friday at DFC. Also look at other bazaars throughout the year. Good luck! edited by crystalsindubai on 02/08/2011

If you are holding a US licence you should not have to go thru driving school. I would first get my visa issued/renewed, and then simply renew the licence under the new visa; perhaps a small fine will be issued.

I believe it depends what kind of insurance you have - in the case of a fully comprehensive coverage, the insurance company will confirm that Oman is included in the area; if yo carry third party liability, Oman is usually not included. edited by crystalsindubai on 31/07/2011

Or Heritage village. They have some and you can do camel rides there. Where is this please? Head towards Shindaga Tunnel and you take the slip road by Carrefore on the right just before it and it's up there. Oh cool - that would be perfect. This is the Bastikiya (sp) area then? This would be the Shindaga area - just before the tunnel. The Bastakiya is a little up the creek near the abra stations and the museum.

Unless at least two witnesses are at hand to confirm a woman's word against a man, I would say there is no good reason to fight this a case. Publication in the newspapers would at least raise awareness.

Unless the landlord and the agent have a Property Management Agreement, the agent's job is complete with handing the apartment over to you. Renewal in that case is purely between the landlord and yourself. I know agents nowadays ask for a renewal fee but that should be paid by the landlord; the tenant is liable only to pay the initial 5% agency commission, no further fees.

How about a healthier variation? Try fricassee of turkey breast cooked in vegetable stock; add all kinds of veggies; offer a number of interesting sauces... At the end of the meal, you'll definitely feel more comfortable than after a bourguignonne.

jamble: 1. return of security deposit for a villa: consider not paying the final Dewa & Cooling bill, Etisalat... 2. holding back the keys 3. changing the terms of the contract, i.e. adding a clause that painting at the end of the lease is to your account, needs a [i'>3-months notice period [/i'>prior to renewal; 4. increasing of annual rent: check RERA website calculator for correct rent level.

I have problems with the air circulation, especially around my head and shoulders - waking up with splitting head & shoulder pain. Covering ones head & face does not help as one inhales "recycled" air - again, giving raise to a splitting headache! One solution for me was to redirect the a/c outlet towards the ceiling, and with trial and error making sure that the "blast" does not directly hit my sleeping area.

Is your friend's art produced in the UAE? If so, Arte Souk would be a very propular platform, especially so as they have two events a months, i.e. at Time Square and at Dubei Festival City. As your friend's agent you could also approach The Majlis Gallery to exhibit her art there; they also have a monthly bazaar (again from October or November onwards); same with other galleries.
