sameen, from a reading of your posts (this one and re duphaston) i suggest you find yourself another doctor. i know you say you've changed 3 times already, but you sound so unsure. and you admit that she doesnt go into detail with you about what she prescribes. you deserve a better doctor. someone that listens to your concerns and answers ALL of your questions. do another search on here re obgyns and go on the recommendations - ladies on here love dr elsa and dr sant ... there are many others mentioned on here - try, try, try until you are happy. it is your health, and your future baby's health, that you are dealing with. good luck!

do a search on here about duphaston. you will find a lot of useful information. there are lots of ladies on this forum, myself included, who have been / still are on duphaston with no side-effects etc. trust your doctor, she/he wont put you on something if its harmful. if you dont feel comfortable with the medication - whatever it is - then it is your right to so "no".

no. lets be honest, you can gauge from the responses who are 'serious' or at least trying to be, and those are the people that i call. and then, from your first chat you'll know whehther it's worth pursuing or not.

I adore my mother-in-law; I've known her for 20 years now and she's absolutely fantastic. I know how lucky I am, though, and how few people can say the same!...;) me too! i love her to bits and am very fortunate that she can stand in when my mum's unavailable.

www.christchurchjebelali.com has their contacts - they are Anglican which is a whole lot more than Church of England so makes no difference if you are English or not. They marry divorcees at their discretion dependent on individual cases. both my dh and i were divorcees when we approach this church for our nuptials. they required copies of our final divorce decrees, birth certificates, proof of baptism and that was it. we attended the marriage "classes" which consisted of us, 8 or 9 other "western" couples (uk, sa, aus etc) and 2 old men with their foreign lovelies. we were put into groups to do various exercises on money, in-laws, family, kids, etc and one of these ladies could barely speak english. the set-up was SO obvious. a bigger reason to not grant a marriage than being divorced, if you know what i mean ...

definitely cheaper, and if you have a look at the medical personal's credentials, they're all above board. i have checked the dr that i'm interested in & then cross-referenced her credentials with the american board of plastic surgeons - all legit. i contacted the hospital for a consultation. they were prompt in their response - asked me to send photos, which i was not very comfortable with - BUT it was because i said i cant come for a consult & requested a quote via email LOL but they were very professional allround i havent gone through with the surgery (yet) because i'm such a wuss :D

Miscarriage is so devastating, especially when it's your first pregnancy. I've been there too. Take the time to just grieve in any way you feel necessary, but don't dwell on the "what-ifs" because there are none. There is nothing you did, or didn't do, that would have stopped it. It happened because it needed to - think about it this way: in the first few weeks of pregnancy, there are so many millions of things happening... connections being made, cells dividing, organs and limbs being mapped out and amongst all that, sometimes, something just makes a mistake... and sometimes it's just such a fundamental thing that it can't carry on. It brings home what a miracle having a happy, healthy baby is. You'll go on to have happy, healthy children in good time too. Let yourself heal first. i wish i had read that at the time of my miscarriages ... so nicely put hello.again.kitty. sorry for your loss gingercat x

sorry for your loss :( i've had many miscarriages in a row ... too many actually. opted for d&c every time. i stayed over night (at city hospital). at midnight the gel was inserted to soften the cervix, the d&c performed at 9am, and i was home by 4pm. not a good experience, but not painful at all. good luck xxx

also have friends that's embroiled in some or other legal battle - have been for many years - and still no light at the end of the tunnel. they have in the meantime moved to oz and have signed powers of attorney for other friends (who bought into the development with them) to be able to deal with matters on their behalf. when we see them they tell us how they are being sent from pillar to post, delays because people dont show up, postponements because documents arent ready etc doesnt look good for them to be honest.

And not forgetting the laziness.......text with one hand, type with one finger on the computer, big sigh, dramatically adjust scarf, check own text messages again....all while attending to a client..... Don't know whether to laught or just feel sorry for them......;) ahahahaha!!!!!! you forgot to add.... get up walk over to a colleague and have a really long conversation about nothing whilst giving the customer and evil. Slowly walking back slower than is actually humanly possible, check mobile phone again, plug in Blackberry to charge, adjust scarf (again) then type on computer pointlessly. THEN ATTEND TO CUSTOMER! so true :D eta: something went wrong with my quote! LOL edited by dikane on 09/02/2011

I do not condone how this woman has behaved but it did bring back memories of the unusual punishments of my youth. It may be an Australian thing but in the 70’s the rage was for giant wooden forks and spoons that were hung on the wall. There were many occasions where I was forked on the back of my thighs for being cheeky. When not being forked I got the standard smack across the backside with a hairbrush never knowing if I was going to get the smooth or bristle side. I can also remember as punishment for swearing in front of his sisters after being told not to a number of times my mum made my brother bite down on a bar of soap (so it got in between his teeth) and then had him brush with a squirt of dishwashing liquid instead of toothpaste. I don't think there were any long lasting ill effects although I do recall Stephan having chronic diarrhea that night. It may have been ok in the 70’s but n 2011 I think my mum would be locked away. not at all an australian thing. we were "forked" (love the expression) with a wooden spoon, belt, shoe, hairbrush / whatever was closest to my mum at that moment in time. today, we giggle about it and love teasing her about it but all 5 of us believe we are better off because of it. and we dont love her any less. we were always just threatened with black pepper in the mouth after a slip of the tongue, but mum never actually did it. probably why i f#$%king swear like a f%^&*& sailor today. :D
