Oooh I've been there. It's a decent place and they do fish pedicure as well. Not the best but not bad either.

wow....how awful. I would ask for money back. This is an everyday occurrence...I think it is time to stop going for deals. Y'all know they are too good to be true. Well there will always be good and bad offers, unfortunately. For me, I've dealt with gonabit, groupon and dealgobbler and haven't had any problems. I had one problem with Cobone but the problem wasn't with the spa, it was with their customer service and me getting the vouchers so i don't deal with them anymore. If it weren't for these sites, I wouldn't afford a Brazilian keratin every 3 months at less than 500! :) Although i always do my research about the salon first from online forums like EW.

It's 415 now and last time i was there earlier this year it was 300+. I love Saffron but one of the main reasons why i love it is the variety of drinks. If i'm not drinking, i'm definitely not paying 415, it's just ridiculous.

Yes, they really have to do something with their customer service. They've also lost me as a customer. With other websites with same good deals, I'd rather go for a company who at least responds to my email.

Contact Quay Health Club at Madinat, I heard they regularly have programs for kids and teens. I'm not 100 percent sure as I only heard it from a friend but try to contact them and inquire.

Just a simple thank you card with a personal note is fine; i'm sure she'll appreciate it. If you're feeling generous though, send her some flowers. Some girls find it awkward to give flowers but me, I don't mind. It's unique, not everyone does it, and it delivers the message.

When i was trying to get my figure back after gaining a couple of pounds last year, I used Right Bite. They have nutritionists who will personalize a diet plan for you, plus the food they deliver is not bad at all!

I've been in the same position when i had problems with my landlord. I stayed at Easy Hotel, at 99 a night but it's a bit too far, so i moved to ibis along szr, near sharaf dg metro. When i was at easy hotel, it was very very basic but good enough for me. but the problem is i didnt have a car then so i had to move somewhere close.

Unfortunately, I would say about 80-90% of companies here in UAE keeps their employee's passports (exceptions may apply to higher management positions). I just moved to a freezone company last June and they didn't ask to keep my passport, which I'm very happy about. Ironically, it is only freezone companies who can demand passports (but as the previous poster said, it will be kept under the freezone authority). LLC companies should not ask for employee's passports but for some f'd up reason, no one really regulates this rule.

Aww.. don't worry, everything's gonna be alright. Being heartbroken without anyone to speak to is really hard, but that just tests how strong you are. Once you get through this, you'll get through anything. Cheers! :)

Starbucks? They are always begging for change! :) Nice one. Oh I also remembered, over a year ago (i always have piggy banks), i was able to change my coins to notes through the local supermarket near my building. They know me over there and as long as they're not busy, they would be happy to change that for you! So ask your friendly supermarket staff about that! ;)

I have my own piggy bank and asked my friend who works in finance to have their staff change it to notes. ;) Got myself an iPod for that. Sweet. Your bank should be able to do it; but since banks here hav eattitudes as most establishments are, you really have to be patient or go on offpeak hours. I would say maybe just before they open?

@dentro, around 4200 for everything and one road test, and for every next fail, that's an additional of about 700. So around 7k for 3-4 attempts.. or even more, depends on how evil try.

Really surprised that no one here has suggested this: Every night, before you go to sleep, soak a small piece of cotton to apple cider vinegar and tape it to the wart. That's it! I just use band aid plasters to tape it. When I had a wart on my finger, I just did it every other night cos I was too lazy but it worked!!! It's fast, easy and convenient! The wart on my finer was gone in less than three weeks.

If your husband's work is paying for it, then go for a high-end restaurant ;) I just want to recommend Simran's Aappa Kadai - great Indian food and really cheap! Prolly not what AussiePup is looking for but this is just what came to my mind after seeing the thread title.

Hi. Try foodonclick.com. You can select your location and it will show its partner restaurants that deliver in that particular area. And you can place yer order online. I use it all the time. Although it only shows its partner restaurants, which may be limited depending on your location. edited by dubaijunkee on 12/08/2011

You can actually try calling them each and ask if there are any discount. Most would usually be willing to directly arrange a discount now that it's August. This is what my friend did last week.
