Another red flag...I cannot find a LinkedIn Profile for Dr. Lane Spencer - someone in this sort of role would have a robust LinkedIn profile with a large number of professional connections. This is appears to be a scam to me.

Highly recommend any of the Hilton Garden Inn Midtown locations. I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Midtown East and really liked it - and good value too.

Yes. Understand their fees (bags, seats) before you purchase. Personally like that they charge more for carry on than checked bags. Prevents people bringing too much carry on luggage and the long exercise of putting luggage in overhead bins and then no more space and people having to check carry on luggage and then complaining. Have seen people think the carry on rules will be relaxed for them and then being shocked at the fees - have to say quite glad to see they enforce their rules and make it fair for those who do follow them.

I recommend that you take a big bus style tour of the city BUT do it on Sunday morning when the traffic is so much less heavy in the city. If you want to see a play you can get lower price same day tickets at the TKTS booth in times square.

It's very simple, you just chopped all the veggies into tiny squares and put them in a pan with some olive oil, garlic and onions and you let it cook, in the meantime you prepare the tomato sauce and when the veggies are cooked you mix it all. thanks - yum!

We need a leader not a good speech reader. Obama is a horrible president. Perhaps. But seriously, the Republicans couldn't come up with a single credible candidate! Newt Gingrich? Ron Paul? Mitt Romney??? Personally, I believe it's because all the other Republicans are too afraid of all the stuff in their closets to run. The Republicans have backed themselves into a corner with this social conservative mumbo jumbo when they all have extra girlfriends and boyfriends. Most I know are not happy. Obama is one of our worst presidents ever. People are dazzled by his charisma but seriously he has done nothing to improve America. With Romney losing at least it will easier for Chris Christie to be the republican nominee next time. If you are unfamiliar with Chris Christie google him - lots of great youtube clips - he is a direct no nonsense leader.

One tip that makes a big difference...... Between the wash and dry cylces - remove each item - hold each one at the top and shake several time to fluff each item up before returning to the washer/dryer and starting the condense drying cycle. If you do not do this the items remain stuck to the sides of the unit from the spin cycle and end up stiff as cardboard. Also if you remove when items are about 75% dry and line and hanger dry to finish this works quite well. This gets you results fairly close to using an air / tumble dryer.

I have found that 2 large pitchers and a funnel that fits into the neck of a wine bottle give the best result. Pour the wine into one pitcher and then back and forth between the 2 pitchers about 20 times and then pour back in the wine bottle using the funnel and serve. I recommend doing this over a sink and wearing an apron in case there are any splashes. Enjoy.

I cannot recommend accommodations however if you want any sort of spa treatments you may want to avoid the Maldives - apparantly all spas have been shut down - even at the 5 star hotels - http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/maldives-closes-hundreds-luxury-resort-spas-15260331

Actually, calls from back home are much cheaper than from dubai. But you might be right about the calls being from family. I agree with this - by expensive I meant if you have no money back home you cannot afford to call - I was meaning to say more expensive in terms relative to one's income <em>edited by dubainy on 17/09/2011</em>

Most likely these calls are from the family "back home" of a laborer who have dialed the wrong number. It's quite common for family "back home" to give a missed call expecting the person to call back since it expensive for them to call directly compared to a call made from Dubai. Likely the caller does not realize they are calling the wrong person and are bothering you and the caller is probably overcome with anxiety since they are not getting a call back.
