Just in case you have no takers and they are not completely wasted, we can take them for an extremely cheeky offer of AED 800 for both. We were just going to watch the fireworks from our balcony and we are not fans of Turkish food but it would be worth going to watch the fireworks and drinks. Excuse the very cheeky offer but just thought I would try my luck in case they go unused. I hope you get a better offer than mine as you have paid alot of money for them :) Can you mail me on emilyscott84 at hotmail dot com. Thanks

Hi all I have a ticket for a 'one couple new years gala dinner in a la turca restaurant' and then join the gala beach party at midnight. Due to circumstances I am unable to go :( This ticket is worth nearly 5000 dhs. Is anyone interested? Make me an offer. I don't want them to get wasted.

I like my Samsung Galaxy tab 3. There's skype on and even my Word documents can I open and change on it. It's very easy to use and for Android there is the largest amount of Apps. It's also inexpensive. But I would buy the same brand like your dad's mobile phone, because systems are very similar and he won't need to get used to the new operational system. Like my dads mobile?? Do they do an old style nokia brick tablet??!!! lol! We are Ipad users too and my dad has had a play with it and seems to fumble his way around it. That might be the way forward. I just didn't know whether there was a cheaper version that will do the same thing?

And probably come home with a whole load of things I hadn't planned to buy!!!! :) :) haha! yep that's what I do! A good tip.......before your DH gets home put everything you have bought away and when he questions it (days/months later!) just say 'no, that's not new, we have had that for ages!!!'

Ikea do them but not sure if they will be big enough. You can always go for a drive, you always find something you need in Ikea!

I think it also depends on if you are going to exclusively pump or whether you are doing both. I exclusively pumped as mmy dd could not latch on. I found it much easier with a double as I was done in 10-15 mins.

i went for a scan at 5 weeks and the dr could not see anything. She saw the pregnancy sac, but no fetal pole. I was terrified and told to go back in 10 days. The next scan we saw and heard babys heartbeat. After reading a lot on the internet it is very rare to see a heartbeat at 5 weeks. I also had to do the blood tests and the hcg levels were going up (have a look at pregnancy blood test thread on this board) so i was very confused and worried too I went through a long 10 days but i tried to remain calm and chilled and had to think 'what will be, will be'. Thinking positive thoughts for you and got everything crossed.

Hello everyone We are due 24th December with our second. Would also love to meet up after the 12 week period. How is everyone feeling? I am feeling sick but not being physically sick so that's a bonus! I had my first at American Hospital and couldn't fault them.

the house is there, just needs windows and the insides sorted. We have rented for 5 years and fed up of throwing money down the drain! And with rents on the increase again we thought about buying and at least our money is going into something. Ive heard horror stories of houses not being completed on time but I just think if we wait until they are finished there is no way we would be able to afford as prices are increasing so much. Thanks SalsB, ill do a search too

Hi We are looking at purchasing a new build due to handover June 2014. The developers are asking for 10% now, 10% ini August and the subsequent payments over the next year until handover and then the property will be 'bought'. We have contacted HSBC about a mortgage and they say they don't provide this service. Does anyone know of a company/bank that do this? Or is this a new rule that has come in and this service is no longer available. I remember friends that bought off plan and had to pay mortgage even though the house wasn't built. So how did they manage to do that?? tia

I remember one flight I did with my toddler, because it was an early hours flight I battled with her to get her to sleep and she whinged and cried and wasn't happy at all. Maybe she could sense the stress from me trying to get her to sleep. Anyway, after that flight I vowed never to go through that again and I basically let her do what she is happy with (within reason!). So if she wants to watch tv, she does. If she wants to watch the ipad, she does. If she wants to walk around the plane for an hour, she does. And you know what? The flight went fast, it was stress free and she even went to sleep by herself! So the moral to my story is don't stress, remain calm and go with the flow. I wish you the best of luck :)

Turn left, go through the traffic lights and past city max hotel on right. go through next lights and then over a speed hump. Pinkys is on the road to the right (you can see it from the road you are on). its on the corner. what would i take with me? the warm weather!

hi My mum and dad have just got a new sky box back home (old ones harddrive packed in) and now we are struggling to get the slingbox up and running again. The new box has different connections which is causing some issues. We either have a colour picture with no sound or black and white fuzzy picture with sound! Any one have any idea as to where we are going wrong with the wires? tia

Hi We are also at VH and considering The Villa. We went this morning for a look and got completely lost-going round in circles!! Is it really that bad or is it a case of once you have got your bearings its easy? The main concern is the location and getting in and out. Also there seemed to be quite a lot of building sites and uncompleted areas. We would appreciate your views on best location and any other guidance. We have a 21 mo daughter too. Do any of your children go to the nursery there? Whats that like? tia
