Well how about some dog training? Spraying your stuff with other stuff isn't solving the problem. You need to go to the root cause. Why is your dog destroying stuff? The majority of dogs are destructive because they're bored. They're not getting enough physical and mental stimulus to keep them occupied or tire them out. edited by FairyDust on 17/02/2015

1000 inbred cats? Genetically modified freak show then isn't it. Am amused at the END OF SUBJECT/I REFUSE TO POST ANYMORE etc etc. I think we've all deduced you're one of these people who HAS to have the last word and can't help yourself. I think what is also glaringly obvious, is that you are an extremely insecure, unhappy person. I actually feel sorry for you. edited by FairyDust on 17/02/2015

I think it was all just a bit of fun on both sides. When I see posters like OP nowadays, it reminds me of a link someone posted last week or so about people being paid to stir things up on forums to keep them entertaining and get traffic. Highly unlikely, seeing as fun and excitement are taboo here lol

I will probably cause more of a stir now by saying that I think some of the 'bullying' comments on here are really not very pleasant. The OP may be 'showing off' but in all honesty some of you folks need to take a step back from this **********. If folks want to celebrate VD with lavish gifts then lucky them, if you do not celebrate then that is fine too but to slag each other off is not necessary. For the OP we had a bottle of bubbles in the desert at sunset, totally chilled. ;) Nobody is saying it's not fine to get things like that, BUT there really is NO need to go on a public forum and brag about it! What reaction was she expecting? Oh how wonderful? Good for you, aren't you lucky? So what? I think most people couldn't care less. And people who like to 'brag' are usually show-offs who do it to put others down. Nothing turns others off a person faster than someone who brags. edited by FairyDust on 16/02/2015

It's getting pants reviews, because of the lack of er things that are in the book. what did you expect? Porn? Well the original screenplay was very steamy apparently, but the studios toned it down for a wider release. To make anything resembling the books it would need to be R rated. It should have just been left at the books really.

I detest the 'service charge' - which by the way is not allowed to be included anymore, only by venues deemed as tourist destinations. It should be up to the customer to decide if the service warrants a tip.

Bengals are not the same as Toygers, although the breeding concept is the same. Take a bunch of cats with a certain trait and keep in-breeding them to get the desired effect - in this case they took a bunch of bog standard tabby cats with stripes. Did you know the original breeder of the Toyger bred them to raise awareness for the conservation of tigers? And they're not rare - common as muck these days. *there - you've been educated*. edited by FairyDust on 16/02/2015

Valentine's Day or Hallmark Day as it's now known, is nothing more than commercial boohockey. You don't need a 'day' to show the special person in your life how much you love them. Personally I prefer surprise and unexpected things, not getting something because it's VD. I also don't understand why some people have to boast about what they got. Do you require validation or something? Do you need to feel special? Yeah because expensive gifts are usually a true expression of love NOT.

It really depends on what you want to achieve. Aerobic classes don't concentrate on specific areas really, but work the entire body. To localise and work the core, not just the abs, is extremely difficult which is why you have to do targeted exercises for them.

I think you'd be really hard pressed to find anything around 200 dhs. Adventure HQ had some I think as well. 400 dhs for a full body covering like that is nothing. People pay more for a string bikini.

Wait what are they charging you for here? Ijari registration is like 275 dhs and the tenant should actually do it. Usual agent fee for renewing is about 500 dhs. No, they 100% cannot make any changes as they've missed the deadlines, so tough luck. Stick to your guns and tell them to go speak to RERA, or you will take your contract with cheques to them and just get them to renew it for you.

If it's for a ski tip, I'd wait until you get to where you're going as all the shops will have last seasons stock on sale. Ski gear here is expensive. But you can try the Rage shops, also Burton, Columbia, Modells has a ski section in MOE and of course Ski Dubai has it's own ski gear shop. Ordering online you'll find some great deals.

Clearly I'm not destined to have a maid as I wouldn't care who my guests were, I'd tend to my baby if and whenever needed! Not necessarily that, just expecting your home help to act as a waitress. Wanting them to help clean up afterwards etc fine, but serving water and food etc? just the thought makes me cringe.

Loads of body weight exercises you can do at home - squats, lunges, squat jumps, rock climbers, bear crawls, inch worms. All of these will get your heart rate going and build strength at the same time.

Lol ah that makes more sense. You can eat when it suits you. I can't eat before working out as it makes me want to throw up lol so I generally eat about 30 mins after working out in the morning and I'll have a protein shake, smoothie or healthy omelet, something like that. Sadly many of us hang onto the fat in the tummy areas and it is the hardest area to get rid of. You can do as many sit ups, planks etc as you like, but can still have a layer of fat over those abs. As the saying goes 'abs are made in the kitchen, NOT in the gym'. This area is mainly about diet, you have to force your body to use those fat reserves to get rid of it. I used to be that weight (back in the day) and looked like a bobble head and very boney, looking back at photos now it was awful. Just thinking though, have you checked to see if you have an overactive thyroid? edited by FairyDust on 03/02/2015

It really depends on your body. I can't workout if I've eaten breakfast, I eat afterwards and just have a pre-workout drink to fuel my workout. As others have said, if you're prone to losing weight easily, then you need to compensate for that by eating back the calories that you expend whilst you workout. But you need to eat the right, energy giving foods.

Coconut oil is amazing for dogs and cats. Also if they have any cuts or scraps, Manuka honey can be put on them - it's a natural antibacterial and kills all bacteria - amazing stuff.

I guess I may end up having to do just that, or not get one at all if I can't find a good pet shop :( There are NO good pet shops, that do not import from puppy mills. Also don't assume the rescue organisations don't get pedigree dogs - they 100% do. One had several pugs recently looking for homes. So please go through their websites thoroughly or contact them and ask. SCADS also have 3 GS looking for homes. Please bear in mind what we've said about the snub nosed breeds. You might well get one into the country, but getting out is another matter entirely. edited by FairyDust on 28/01/2015

Same as Kezzler, my first marriage, hubby's 2nd and we got married in Christ Church Jebel Ali. They made everything so very easy and simple. You just need to attend a marriage counseling session, which was really funny actually. FairyDust, were you in mine???? We did have a giggle, it was very odd. This was a couple of years ago, but it was so funny. We did laugh a lot. The Reverend is a funny old bean. Like you we had a bit of an issue with hubby's decree absolute. Had to get it from Germany, translated and notified in English for the church. But we paid them to register our marriage certificate, so that was one less hassle.

Also to mention that many airlines will not fly Bulldogs and Pugs, due to their stub noses. So even if you ahd one, when you leave how would you take it with you? GS - require LOT of attention, exercise and stimulation. A bored one of those becomes very destructive.

There are no reputable breeders for those breeds in the UAE. They all come from puppy mills in Eastern Europe from vile conditions, sent half way round the world, under age and many sick. Please don't buy a dog. Check these rescue organizations, all of which have puppies looking for homes. Actually this is all pretty standard and normal. Tenants pay for small things, LL's the big stuff. No shock here. Standard across the board.
