Tallybalt IS correct, well in that I know for a fact one of those services are fully licensed, registered and insured. One of them at one point was the ONLY licensed pet sitting service, up until a couple of years a go. edited by FairyDust on 02/12/2014

They start at 6. Burj Al Arab - NOT Burj Khalifa. So lots of road closures and chaos.

Dkc/woof/urban tails all full :( Sadly they would have been booked up months ago. Central are pretty new, hence they still have spaces. Three friends use them as well with no issues. Why don't you pop down and speak to Shermaine the owner and have a chat with her. ETA - also because they're new, they're a bit easier on the pocket as well. edited by FairyDust on 01/12/2014

I use K9 central for my 2. They have 2 play areas and take the dogs for walks outside. It's a bit smaller, but my pooches love it. No expensive assessments as they just keep the new dogs separated and introduce them to a few others slowly so they get to know one another. I haven't had any issues and my two like it there.

It's been ok. No major issues and I drive the main roads they said would be busy. No different than usual to be honest. I wonder what it will be like at 6pm as the fireworks will be on and it is the Burj Al Arabs birthday Ohhhhh avoid like the plague later then!

DUCTAC seem to have gone the musical route this year with Willy Wonka, instead of a traditional Panto. Shame, but could still be fun.

Hello. Anyone here living in Kenya? My husband is currently based in Nairobi, so it looks like a permanent move is on the cards next year sometime. Just looking for any views on the place and how people find it. Many thanks.

We-re far from being the dreamy type but in almost 9 years we never had an incident!!! I know, never say never...but to see a burglar climbing a 3m high fence, the road facing one, in a residential area with many people at home during day-locals mostly, going through this trouble just be met by two 140 pounds dogs with big mouths and sharp teeth...wish to see that!!! Seen it done! First they poison you dogs then break into your house. NEVER leave your property unlocked. In the holiday periods break-ins are rife in certain areas and don't think there aren't inside jobs going on either.

I'm out next year. It's too expensive and things just drive me crackers here now. Wait and see if the UAE follows Kuwait and only allows expats to stay for 5 years and forbids them from bringing families. Wouldn't surprise me. Are you serious? I didnt know Kuwait is doing that now...how terrible. Why is it terrible? Means Kuwaitis will actually have to start doing the jobs they rely on expats for.

The cost of pretty much everything is going up, yet salaries have been stagnant for years. It's great if you have a company, that contributes towards housing, schooling etc, but those are few and far between these days. So many people I know have now sent their families home, where at least schooling is free or cheaper as they just can't afford to stay together here anymore. it's sad, but things really need to be regulated.

Don't think you can get them, as you need to change tyres in twos and have them balanced, tracked and aligned, so you really should go to a garage.

or try ordering it from the US or have someone bring it with them? We ordered it from the US so facetime actually works. Plenty of 'grey' market shops here stocking US and UK iphones with facetime.

That makes no sense. Usually there's an early pay off fee added onto the amount still outstanding and that's it. Sorry to say but Islamic loans are terrible, steer well clear, as basically you get shafted. ETA, but of course you have to pay the remainder, before you can terminate. You can't terminate a loan and still owe them money. edited by FairyDust on 20/11/2014

I love dreaming. Night dreaming, day dreaming. Depends also if you are just along for the ride, or whether they are proper vivid dreams where you play an active role and control what is going on. It's like a movie in your head. I always remember my dreams.

That's the thing about smoothies, they can be loaded with sugar if you use too much fruit. I LOVE my Nutribullet. The typical 'Bullet' smoothie is 50% green leafy veg, 50% fruit, handful of boost i.e. nuts, seeds etc and topped up with liquid - skimmed milk, water, almond milk, coconut water etc. My typical morning one is: Spinach, Banana, Strawberry, Blueberry, Chia seeds and coconut water. You can literally throw whatever you like in it. But the whole point of a 'cleanse' is to give the digestive system a break so that the body concentrates on healing and resting, rather than using energy to digest. I sometimes do waster fasts for a few days - sounds boring and is pretty tough, but amazing how you feel afterwards.

Just get one from another outlet - they all have stock. my point was that we have gone to almost EVERY outlet and they are all out of stock and all tell us "keep coming back". And none of the outlets answer their phones to you can't even call and ask! Not Etisalat. The independent mobile stores. They will all have them, from the UK or US, which means Facetime will actually work.

If it's your first time juicing, absolutely do NOT head straight out on one for 60 days. Start with 3, then 5, then 7 and do a short fast each or every couple of months to work up to it. Juices are very different from smoothies. Smoothies, the whole fruit/veg is still in there so you'll be fuller for longer with smoothies rather than juices.

[b'>SO, HAVE YOU EXERCISED REGULARLY OR NOT?[/b'> Yes I exercise 4-5 times a week. I try to keep my work outs varied but mostly do cardio, weight training & core training along with burpees, mountain climbers etc. My work outs during the week are 45-60 mins & at the weekend 60-90mins That sounds really good  Must be so frustrating. I think it would be good to revisit a professional for some advice. Personally I avoid anything that has 'fat free/diet' written on it, as these items are full of garbage. Just eat clean and healthy. Nothing out of a jar or packet, all fresh and healthy foods. It IS possible to achieve your goals and there are so many people in your position, who ARE doing it, without resorting to surgery. It does take time. Just remember, the weight that takes time to come off, stays off, as opposed to quick drops in weight.

Hate to say it, but your body is literally starving on this 'diet'. It's clinging to the extra weight because your not eating enough calories to do basic functions, let alone anything else. The basis of it is good, but you could definitely do with a lot more protein in there and you NEED to exercise. Try and avoid things like sweet potato at night - it's got quite a lot of sugar in it, which many people don't realise - better at lunch time. You need to try and do at least 30 mins of some form of exercise a day, even if it's just a gentle walk to start with.

Maltese, I highly recommend The British Vet Hospital on Wasl Road. They are excellent. http://www.britishvethospital.com They're terrible. They misdiagnosed a skin issue in a friends dog 3 times, telling her it needed surgery and all kinds of treatments costing thousands, when in reality it was something that would go away on it's own. Blue Oasis diagnosed it correctly and treated it at minimal cost in 10 days. edited by FairyDust on 13/11/2014

I think the 90 day period is to give notice of intended changes - wrangling over them can go right up to the contract end date - mine certainly have in the past. It's a 2 bed, not a 3 bed. They've told you they're not renewing. So I'd say that's that. No know what the problem is, as now you can find a new tenant and the rent you want.

Legally you can't. There's no such thing as a provisional license in the UAE, unlike other countries where you can drive with a qualified driver as a passenger. To do this, he'd need to go to secluded areas, out of traffic - but if anything happens he won't be covered. I think this is one of the main reasons, new drivers are so bad here - sheer lack of practice. When I was 17 I was on the road every single day with my parents, in between lessons. It's vital. But sadly can't be done here.

I wish that those who spoke English would stop seeing English as a qualification - it is not. It is a tool. One of many. Chinese would be a better choice in all countries. I disagree. English is one of, the most widely spoken languages. Not to mention it is the language that HAS to be used in many industries, such as aviation, military, many businesses. English in in the UAE and the Gulf, because of the British occupations of it and so it has stuck. edited by FairyDust on 12/11/2014
