Depends on the airline. Emirates are usually ok with one bag under and one over. Airlines like Swiss however - totally paranoid about it! We were forced to unpack things from one bag and put in another to even the weight.

Sorry trying to write with left hand on phone :( It should have said Scan the passport. Oh that's easy - you staple the back page of the old passport, to the front page of the new one. Back page with the chip in it of new passport is free and nothing messes with it.

I did it in January. I can't remember what documents were required but what I can tell you is that I was pleasantly surprised by how efficient it was. I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. I recommend that you go to the one in Al Twar so you can have the eye test done on the spot. Lucky you! TWO hours it took to do mine as they were sooooooo slow and people kept jumping the queue, until one attendant realised I'd been sat there patiently waiting for ages and pulled me forward. pffffff

pmd, you're changing the subject and taking the onus away from what is a criminal offense! To say you wish something bad on someone because of whom they support - makes you no better IMHO and it's opinions like that, which fuel the hatred and keep it going. IF you're really serious about it, then go on - chuck out EVERYTHING made by, supporting etc and you would have nothing left. Can't do it though hey. To be honest I'm sick to the back teeth of people doing this, on newspaper articles etc keep these comments where they belong - on relevant posts.

Don't whatever you do staple them, just rubber band together. It costs to transfer the visa so not worth it. edited by Geordie expat on 27/07/2014 My passports are stapled together, never had any issues.

The problem with reporting anything here is that you immediatly become involved. Having recently seen a situation escalate while I was in hospital, police and hospitals authorities involved as someone alleged their mother had been treated disrespectfully, I would be very frightened to say a word against anyone these days and I am an incredibly law abiding person. Beware! Trouble with that is, if everyone turns a blind eye, then what does it do to society? People just end up doing what they want. Hi I don't know if I could say you "should" have reported it. But I would have done. Shoplifting like this pushes the prices up for all of us. I don't know about you but I really resent paying considerably more for brands here than I did in my own country. If putting a stop - or at least reducing theft will bring prices down I am all for it. I agree. I also would have reported it. Who knows how many other stores this lady and others like her are ripping off.

I really don't understand why she is still out?! I know for sure she have million evidence of her frudes, and everyone escapes her plans should make an official complain, sadly no one really care and they said oh thank god I didn't fall for her lies! And move on!!!! I really salute the news reporter for all his trouble and digging out this woman ! He's getting hate calls though after she posted his picture calling him an 'Economical terrorist' with all his personal details and phone number.

Do I need to set up an account or ....? Yeah, didn't have a problem when we moved in either, they set it up straight away. the offer via the pinkladydeals uses the Schwarzkopf rebonding products... haven't seen any Shiseido ones there so perhaps best to check with them... FairyDust where did you do yours and roughly how much did the rebonding cost? HMC salon in Mirdiff - it's a little palce. Cost about 1,500 - 1,800 Dhs depending on hair length. It takes HOURS though. Depends a. whether your hair has bleach in it and b. what product they use for rebonding, as there are some specifically made for use on coloured hair like Sesheido - which I have had used in the past on my coloured hair. But if you have bleach in it - not recommended.

Try chatting to her on twitter! She's completely delusional, always side steps questions, never gives concrete evidence of anything she's ever done. Been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize my behind! Trouble is, I don't think they can actually catch her until she's taken money from someone. But there are stacks of people who've applied for help from her and received nothing. One guy last night wanted to give her 3 million dhs - until he was forwarded the articles.

Not sure 'good quality' and 'economical' can go in the same sentence when it comes to that. I have 'flood and lights' highlights with the rest of the hair coloured at the same time. Done this both at Salon Ink and Ted Morgan. Both very good but will set you back (at any decent salon) at 1,000 - 1,500 dhs plus for it. KH..no need to pay for visas to Oz. They are free if done through government site. There are some unscrupulous sites about which charge you for getting the visa but def free through the government site. are you sure? I thought I was using the official govt site and every time have had to pay a small processing fee, maybe $20 or something. last time was a couple of years ago now, so cant remember the exact amount. the eta link below (which I think is what I used before) also says $20... Just be aware that white gold doesn't exist in Dubai. Actually white gold doesn't exist ANYWHERE! There's no such thing. It's yellow gold mixed with silver coloured alloys and depending what that alloy is and how much is used, depends how 'silver' looking the ring is, but almost all of them are rhodium plated - even the one I had made in the UK is rhodium plated.

Weird - I've had rings made in Cara's and they've always been very good. I have small diamonds in my wedding band and no one ever said anything about them falling out. The only one that fell out, was out my DH's ring but he dropped it on a hard surface and it's not held in by claws - they popped it back in. I always speak to Keiran. That article was appalling and the National had no business printing it! The writer is ridiculous beyond belief. At a time when rescue and welfare organisations are struggling with the worst summer ever in the UAE and the country's reputation for animal welfare is probably at an all time low - it was irresponsible. The UAE needs to get with the times. Instead of imposing a ban, what they should have done was implement fines and rules for dog owners to be responsible as it's not fair to punish everyone for the actions of a few.

I wouldn't recommend Insanity unless you are half decently fit to begin with - it's extremely hardcore and puts the body under a lot of stress. P90X is fantastic though. There are plenty of protein and fitness shakes available in the UAE at most healthfood stores.

I would contest it. They gave no indication that they were police, unmarked car etc You should play on that fact that you were women, driving around late at night and you had no idea who these people were. The police in this case are 100% in the wrong. Officers must identify themselves as such and can't just do this.

rera calculator reads .. Rent is lower by 8% of the average rent for the type of unit you have chosen . According to the law governing change, your rating category is 10% So you are not entitled to any increase of rent. Then regardless of the 90 day notice period, you write back and simply state that according to the RERA rent calculator and the LAW, you are not entitled to any increase and therefore your contract shall be renewed under the current terms and conditions and at the current rate - end of story. If he has a problem with that, then HE must go to the rent committee. its a property management company !!!! i hate hate dealing with them ...its a fight every single day !! they insists that they have a case as my neighbours are paying a lot higher than me , they moved in a few months after !! It doesn't matter. Your neighbours are paying higher rent because it's a new contract, yours is a renewal - so the rent calculator is what they have to go by - no exceptions.
