I have a good pair of Salomon hiking boots, they do a pretty good job of keeping the sand out.

Well you need enough water to soak your feet in. I usually put a cup of it in a bowl, then stick my feet in. Warm water. You can just rub the ACV straight onto the nail. Don't use lacquer, the nails need to breathe and recover.

You can get unlocked US and UK phones here in the 'grey' market shops. Plenty about. I always get mine from the stores in Mirdiff City Centre. People buy UK/US phines as they have applications that aren't available on UAE released phones, for example Facetime is not loaded onto UAE release iPhones.

It's nothing to be ashamed of. Personally avoid the bleach solution - that's horrible and should ONLY be done twice a week. What you can EVERY DAY however, is soak your feet in a diluted Apple Cider Vinegar solution, this works and it works amazingly well. Also at night, rub Vicks Vaporub over the nail, the menthol kill the bacteria causing the fungus. I've personally used the above home remedies - 14 days, no more fungus. If your nail is very affected, once the fungus is dead, you need to wait for the nail to grow out.

Monthly basis leases are always more expensive than 6 or 12 month long term leases. Look up individual companies and it gives you all the costs on their websites.

Under Wadeema's law, the new child protection law you must absolutely report people for such actions! The police have actually said we are ALL responsible for keeping children safe and that we have a duty to report such incidents. The Child Abuse Hotline number is: 1 161 11

No you don't really need the supplements. The nutrition guide is very useful. Obviously the more you stick to it, the better the results but you can use it as just a guide to give you an idea of more healthy eating. I liked the Dymatized program because it alternated weights and cardio, or I'd mix them on sum days. Good luck.

Download the Bodyspace app from Bodybuilding.com - find a program that suits the goals you're after and follow it. They give full nutrition and diet plans as well - brilliant and costs nothing. I've had amazing results with a few of the programs and each exercise comes with an instructional video of how to do it.

I can't imagine why anyone would make any insensitive comments. I'd get in contact with Emirates, as they fly to both your destinations and will be better than the local or budget airlines who fly there. They have a marhaba assistance service for passengers. Good luck :-)

It would help if you state where you're flying from - to. All airlines should cater to people with disabilities. What are we talking about? Crutches? Wheel chair? Epilepsy? Need more info to be able to give you a proper answer.

Well the simple answer is, too many cats together in the same environment. Cats are usually pretty independent and when you have a few of them in a confined area, they have to compete for things. The dominant cat (father) is simply reinforcing his position as the Alpha cat. You don't say how old your cats are, but if the son is an adolescent, then neutered or not, he's going to try and become more dominant over his father and you will have the old 'sibling rivalry'. Try giving them more space, by putting down extra food, water bowls in different areas, so they're not all forced to interact with one another. Don't force them to use the same litter, for four cats ideally you need about 3 litter boxes. Give them places where they can get away from one another - install some cat shelves, as cats like to go 'up'.

Avoid AXA - they're terrible. Nexcare are much better for a basic plan. I got a pretty good deal of about 4,000 for my coverage. AXA wanted double.

If they are a Dubai based company and are sponsoring you, then by law they HAVE to provide you with at least basic health coverage. These laws a new, there was a deadline and any companies not giving their employees insurance face fines.

I live in Remraam, have done for 3 years. There are two sides, Al Thamam which is pretty much complete, hence prices are slightly higher on that side, plus it has the Geant, coffee shop, pharmacy, dry cleaners. Then there's Al Ramth, which has all the construction going on - hence prices are more affordable. You shouldn't really pay anymore than 115 - 120k for a 3 bed now. Parking is a massive issue, too many cars not enough spaces, although with a 3 bed, it'll have 2 allocated undercover spaces. Now the new Al Yalayis road is open, it's quicker to DIP, Green Community and the Marina area. We're just waiting for the Hessa street extension to be completed - literally anytime now, which will make things so much more accessible. There are 3 swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts and some dirt sports pitches. Don't hold your breath for the gym - we've given up on that ever being finished. It's a huge mix of nationalities and for the most part things are good. Of course with such a 'melting pot' you do get the usual issues with apartment community living. If you want more info, I suggest you join one of the Remraam groups on facebook.

Thanks ladies. I am planning to use the licence in Germany and the UK. You don't need an International permit for the UK, because your UAE license is also written in English, that's accepted and they will ask for that over the International permit. You do need the International permit for Germany though.

Depends where you go in Europe. Germany and Bulgaria do NOT accept the UAE license, so you need the International permit for those countries.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the internatonal driver's license is in addition to your UAE one and doesn't replace it? Correct. It doesn't replace your UAE license. It's for use in countries that don't accept the UAE license but will accept the international permit. It's also only valid for 12 months.

Seen this a lot. Maids take the dogs out but don't actually walk them, they just stand around messing with their phones or chatting to one another. They don't pick up after the dogs and don't know how to handle them in a situation. Also sadly, there have been quite a few instances of maids treating dogs badly, hitting and kicking them, which the owners are completely unaware of. If you have a dog, please look after it yourself.

Well if a talented, skilled and highly recommended surgeon says he won't do it because it's difficult - you LISTEN to him! He's telling you this, because you probably have overly high expectations of the potential end result and anything short of that is going to be a disappointment. Less experienced surgeons will take it on, in the 'hope' they do a good job and get a decent outcome. Rhinoplasty is probably one of the most brutal yet delicate and intricate surgeries - they basically take a hammer and chisel to your facial bones. So the original surgery was don'e by a surgeon who said you needed an 'expert' but went ahead anyway? Riiiiight - all kindsa wrong with that.

Sadly if your hair is permed, you can't really get in to shine. Shiny hair comes when the hair is healthy and the cuticles lie flat, which is why straighter hair or ironed hair looks super shiny. Putting loads of products on your hair won't help, you have to make it healthy from within, so eating fish oils, and hair and nail promoting foods. Cool rinse your hair in the shower, this helps to close the cuticles.

If a perm has done that to your hair, sounds like it was possibly on the dry, frizzy side, any colour in it? I suspect I know the salon you went to - they always have complaints and are definitely NOT trained to the standard their salons in other countries are. I also recommend Aliza. Since she specialises in chemical treatments and that's all she does, she is a master at it and can recommend what can be done to help your hair. Sadly I seriously doubt anyone is going to recommend putting another chemical treatment on top of what's already been done, as that really will destroy your hair.
