I often used to go to Ipswich shopping when I lived south of Lowestoft - it could be quicker to get to than Norwich sometimes. There was a place on Southwold Harbour called Christina Cara's which had THE best fish and chips I've ever tasted!! Only got a few days in London this year, never had time to get up to Suffolk :( Oh yes Southwold harbour another place I remember fab fish and chips there too. I didnt go to Suffolk for a visit jsut didnt have the time. Spent time with my folks in Bedfordshire where am from originally.

Did you book the last row in economy? When I was crew - going back a few years - if the flight wasn't full the last two seats on the right (JK) in economy would be blocked as crew rest seats on longer flights, so maybe that's what's happened? Or did you check in less than 90 minutes before departure (probably not, given that you're checking in online :))? If so they may have given your seats to someone else. It's worth calling 04 2144444 to ask, and then ask again when you drop off your luggage, again at the gate and again at the door. Keep on at them until they do something! I checked online this morning. flight tomorrow at 9.40..Phoned emirates they said they couldnt see anything on screen that I have been given the wrong seats. They asked over and over what seats was given on my email confirmation..they now said to print the originally email with the seats allocated which is (JA) when I drop luggage at the check in desk??? Will keep on top of it when we go tomorrow - thanks for the advice..x edited by Fr!zzyBusY on 14/07/2011

The opportunities are endless for children here in the UK. There are an unbelievable amount of clubs for children fencing, judo, ballet, swimming you name it we’ve got it. My children do lots of things at school taekwondo, swimming archery, dance, drama to name but a few. Out of school they do piano, martial arts, football and gymnastics. All activities are taught to a high standard, My 9 year old son has just been scouted for Arsenal football club he would never of had this opportunity had we stayed in Dubai. I find that their piano lessons are expensive but all the others are free or minimal money. My sons local football club is £ 2 per week for 2 training sessions and a match on a Sunday. All the activities at school are FOC. I pay £5 per week for a private martial Arts lesson at home. Dance is £48 per term. If you have younger children there are lots of things you can do from memory there’s boogie babies, kinder music and gymborie. There are also Mothers groups all over the country. During the summer there are summer camps for 3 – 16 year olds prices range from £3 a day to £15 per day depending what camp you choose. We live outdoors bike rides, sledging in the snow, picnics by the river, fishing, visiting the big Parks in London, going for long walks in the country, taking the children to all the Theme Parks, going to the seaside, feeding the ducks at the lakes. There’s sooooo much to do for fee here I am sure you will be very happy. edited by tally-ho on 01/07/2011 Tally-ho You making me feel homesick :( Would you know any websites that I can check summer camps and playgoups in the UK?? DD and I due to fly over in a couple of weeks and want her to get involve in some sort of activity while staying over the summer. Thanks. edited by Fr!zzyBusY on 01/07/2011

More questions for you ladies. Ive started doing the shred last week. Ive only managed to do Level 1, twice; 1 last week and 1 this week, in between Ive been mixing other workouts ..will that work or do I HAVE to do the 30 day shred religiously. I get bored with repetitive workouts and I heard doing the same workouts is not so good as your body gets too use to it which I have done in the past and got bored, had DD and 3 yrs later piled on so much weight and Ive only now decided to take it seriously. Your advices is very much appreciated. Thanks.

I am in the process to get my LO registered for 2012 September FS1. I shortlisted 5 schools, and till now have applied to 3 schools. I am totally new here, so don't know what the game with waitlist is. The registrar at one of the schools said that chances of getting into an Outstanding school are really slim, so better to apply in other schools also. BUT HOW MANY? Hi Orchard I personally think 5 is too much especially when it comes to putting down 500dhs deposit for each school which is a lot of money to part with. I applied to 3 schools and one didnt need to take deposit until I was offered a place. HTH

Morning all Just quick question I just downloaded the 30 day shred last night. Just quickly went through the levels and am thinking no way am I ever going to get to level 2 LOL. So how long after did you ladies move onto level 2 and so on. I think Ill be sticking to Level 1 for a good 3-6 months and not even that maybe a yr! :\: Thanks.. basically went up a level after 10 days. I haven't gotten to level 3 yet given I was injured for a bit and then got so bored of training inside i've gone back to a personal trainer and now interchange between levels 1-2. Just be careful ladies mostly with levels 2 & 3 though especially after having had a baby. Make sure your stomach muscles have come back together otherwise you may need to moderate some of the sit up exercises to lower impact. As well as making sure you really suck that belly in tight on planks and bridges etc to get good core strength. Thanks AussiePup. This morning completed Level 1 Day 1..phew!

I have had National Pest control round and they have been telling me that they are rife on / in public transport - so the metro, buses and taxi and basically have come from the labour camps. I thought it only happen in hotels or travelling in out of countries. Dubai has the worse case of Bed bugs because of different nationalities travelling in and out of Dubai.

Hi Mum of two Few months back I used National Pest Control and paid 700dhs for 3 treatments and they came out again after three treatments (thought I still had them) they didnt charge me ...they were very good and know what they doing.. how strange you found the bedbugs in you DS room..Its started in my DD room...my concern is it coming from schools and nurseries???..thats another whole story I guess.. As Pinks mentioned wash and clean everything its stressful and def. invest a steamer. Be very observant too, which I have become when out and about and soon as we come home everthing goes in the laundry ... Hope you get sorted before you leave. Good Luck BTW hope you son ok? edited by Fr!zzyBusY on 12/06/2011
