Hmmm. Good point. A friend of mine (who is diabetic) orders cakes from them so i assumed it was fine. She's been to them and used to be on their food plan and said there were desserts included. I can't say how sugar free it is though 0.o

Live'ly D-Lites have some pretty good options (they taste nice too!): http://lively.ae/images/pdf/gd_pricelist.pdf Thanks, but I don't see any sugar free options on their website, have you found them there? Try this link: http://lively.ae/en/gourmet-a-d-lites At the bottom, you'll see a link to the Gourmet and D-Lites menu. They use Maltitol and Fructose.

Ladies, I think the OP was unhappy that she got quoted a different price than what other customers were paying.

I've never seen them sold wholesale. Oh I'm so sorry. For some reason I read that "embellished crutches". Ooops! Ehm. Well, clutches definitely makes more sense.

I actually would prefer they are removed, and certainly can't see any value in having a running total of red and green thumb points alongside our names. If someone gets lots of red thumbs on their username I don't think its very friendly. I feel all this categorization defeats the spirit of the board IMO. I agree because somehow- it can be used as the most passive aggressive judgmental system ever. If a poster agrees or disagrees- I want to know why. Perhaps they have an argument that makes sense or a view point that I haven't considered. Hiding behind a silent red thumb feels very cowardly. I like the green thumb- it is just like nodding your head in approval. I don't like the red thumb- how many people do you know who consider shaking their head in disapproval while having a conversation enough to state their point?

I have seen the assistants in the Lifestyle shop take the sticky tape off lipstick, let the customer try it and when the customer doesn't want it, put some sticky tape back on and return it to the shelf. Yuk, Yuk edited by Ladybirdsarethebest on 07/04/2014 A sales assistant did that once and I told her I won't be buying from them again because I could never be sure if someone had used the sealed product. I also told her that she should use a "Tester" sticker instead of having people think it is alright to open, test, return the seal and repeat with I don't know how many other colors. edited by Gentle on 07/04/2014

Is it ok to give seasick pills to young children (I'm not sure how well their tummies would handle it)? You can try getting natural tablets- usually ginger. You can also get "Gin Gins"- ginger candy for motion sickness. I saw some in WHSmith the other day.

If someone is dumb enough to buy suits from the back of a car they deserve to get scammed! Lol! My boss actually got sucked into it and we spent months laughing at his ill-fitting suits. He actually wore them?! *_*

I had a crepe at the new Italian chocolate place in Festival City. It was oozing with Nutella nom nom. And the little crepe place next to Costa Coffee in MOE is good too. In IHOP, better to have their regular pancakes. The place is called CioccolatItaliani:) edited by Marroosh on 02/04/2014 They are very good and you can choose the filling from: Nutella, Milk, White and dark Chocolate. Yum!

I've been there a couple of times. It is lovely. They make it clear you can stay and use the facilities of the spa (the best I've seen anywhere) for as long as you like before or after your treatment.

I've emailed them too Silvstet. Didn't know Nivea Haus was closed, but you understand what I meant. I really hope we hear back from them, especially after they invited people to email their feedback. I think a lot will depend on how they handle this and what they do next.

I'm really disappointed as well. Not only are Nivea products available everywhere, but I fail to see what about it is "Glam". The cost doesn't even add up to the monthly subscription (very glad I didn't pay full price). They could have done this so much better, even with a Nivea theme- a gift voucher for products or a treatment at Nivea Haus in Dubai Mall are just 2 examples. If you look at their Facebook page, you'll see they are getting a lot of comments from unhappy glamistas. They are asking everyone to email their feedback to [email protected]. I think we should do just that. It isn't just about this box, but about making sure it won't happen again.

I have combo skin as well. I've been using Eminence for a few years now. They have several moisturizers that work well. My favorites are the Sour Cherry and the newer Acai Berry. They have samples in Sisters if you are interested. Dermalogica is also great.

"Big" shampoo from Lush is good as a clarifying shampoo. I use it whenever I feel my hair has a build up of products. It feels squeaky clean afterwards.

Tried lots of Loreal as well. Kerastase is on another level entirely. Toyota vs. Lexus ? My favorite mask is the Elixir Ultime that comes in a gold pot. I also love the Chronologiste.
