I would definitiely recommend Dr Carol Smylie, before you even start to do anything apart from the exercise and eating better.

If Lloyds say no, you may have a chance elsewhere. It also may be worth trying a broker as they will have access to majority of banks and building societies

Yes you're right. The new owner buys the property tenant included. It is then up to him/her to decide what to do. As Sarahlou says they can give you 12 months notice, but it has to be for one of the valid reasons. Someone I know has been in their house over four years and had three different LL.

During the summer, we just use the cover on it's own and then the duvet from around October till March/April. We'ver never managed a summer with a duvet yet. And the one we use in the winter is our old summer one from the UK <em>edited by Geordie expat on 17/09/2014</em>

Just switched my WiFi off and not a thing apart from half a dozen emails which the WiFi appears to have prevented downloading. Also WhatsApp is only working if I switch the WiFi off !!!! <em>edited by Geordie expat on 17/09/2014</em>

The reason I asked was that someone told me Etisalat were having problems. We're on Du at home and everything's fine there, it's only when I leave the house that this happens ?

Love Park n Shop at DIP. It's worth it to pay a little extra for good quality and quite shopping. Also the staff there are really helpful, even when I only have a couple of bags to carry one of the lads always insists on doing it for me. And as lovingthesun said, no parking issues :)

Thanks ladies. Just looking at the symptoms if you have a magnesium deficency and it appears that I have a lot of them :( And the fact that I have drunk only bottled water for the last two and a half years may also have something to do with it.

Just dragging this old thread up as I have been reading up on water (thanks Lolacat ;) ). Apparently as we all drink bottled water, we could be lacking in magnesium. A lot of the symptoms mentioned below relate to this and I was wondering if you ladies are still taking the supplements or have stopped now and still see an improvement?

I've had none of my certificates attested. I'm on a salary of more than 10k and they weren't even asked for. Only certain firms ask for them. They have to be the originals however I have never been asked by clients for attested documents for spouse sponsorship, only employment visas Good job too, as I haven't a clue if mine are even still in existence anywhere ;)

All I am getting from some people when I ask "why yes"? They just keep saying we'll be better off on our own. They don't seem to have the slightest idea of what is to come. Do u? None of us know what's to come, but some of us are willing to take a chance on something new as the future of the country as it is now is extremely bleak! No, but most people aren't looking long term, all they can see is a new Scotland. What about new passports, financials, army, navy and air force?

My iPhone is working intermittently with WhatsApp etc Also even connected to WiFi facebook isn't working. It's fine at home, phone is Etisalat, home is Du so it works on the Du wifi !! <em>edited by Geordie expat on 14/09/2014</em>

Ok, but thinking logically here isn't water is water is water? Explain to me how scientifically water can be ultra-hydrating..........? Does it change the way it is absorbed into the body? If so how and then surely it no longer becomes H20? Or am I missing something here? No you're not missing anything ;) Companies are just trying it on, by saying that they way they treat water, or add to it, makes it ultra hydrating. This is one thing about Dubai I will never understand..... the feeling that you have to go straight to a specialist without consulting a GP first. And as for food intolerance tests please don't get me started. A friend has been "treated' for various intolerances and when that didn't work, eventually went to see a GP. Turns out it was a thyroid imbalance !!!!! <em>edited by Geordie expat on 14/09/2014</em>
