I'll rephrase that Izzy. KEEP them out, no try about it. Hopefully this way you can keep all three. Just a thought. Has it only started since you put the cat flap in?

I would start by having the bedroom cleaned thoroughly, matress the lot and then try and keep them all out to see what happens.

That is so strange. Could be something in his fur. Perhaps try as someone said and have his fur wiped down daily. And there again, keep them out of your bedroom ;)

The thing is that I AM allergic to something.... i can barely breathe somedays and cough when i do any form of exercise (haven't been able to run in a month) have been to Dr and ENT and he has confirmed servere respiratory inflamation due to allergies.... had steriod shot yesterday and been put on steriod nasal inhaler thing..... I have a horrible suspicion i know what the allergen is but need it confiremd... is there a better way to be tested for allergies? If it is what you think it is then only some time away will help you tell for sure. There again this type of allergy doesn't always last. A friend of mine was told she was allergic, but it cleared up about 6 months later and no problems ever since. do you want to foster a cat for a month? If I could I would, but we're having a bit of an issue at the moment with one of our cats and the JRT. All of a sudden they hate each other. Lived together for over three years and now they don't get on. Flamin' animals

This will be our third AD race and I can honestly say we've never stayed for any of the concerts. Done Silverstone a few times and now they're trying to get up to speed with other places.

Still searching........ I don't want to spoil your day, but being realistic, it took me two years and over 70 applications to find a permanent role. What I can advise it make sure your CV is tailored to the position you are applying for, don't just send out the same one over and over again. The same goes for any covering letters. edited by Geordie expat on 29/06/2014

Yes because we have five pets we had to use a company at both ends. DKC certainly aren't the cheapest option, but for us they were definitely the best. I wouldn't hesitate to use them when we leave. They keep you informed every step of the way and my DH was sent a text as soon as the plane landed, as soon as the dogs we met and then when they were at the kennels.

Maybe time to re-evaluate how you view and value yourself.... time to take some time out and concentrate on you, find your worth and stick to it. But first time to pack and go :) Good luck its high time to evaluate myself - its been a long time in coming and now is the right time since I am no spring chicken, life is for living and I feel that I am constantly treading on egg shells. Just got to approach the moving out thing as I know he may become nasty. [b'>Age is nothing to do with it[/b'>. You can find love ( with the right person at any age) perhaps take the time to evaluate why you are perhaps attracted to men like this. Take the time to discover you. x I can certainly agree with that :)

We put our 2 dogs and 3 cats in DKC for 4-5 weeks. Yes costly but at least we knew they were safe, couldn't escape and had people on hand all day to make sure they were settling ok. Also they allow you to visit whenever they are open, so it wasn't as if we couldn't see them during this time. I know you're saying 2-3 months, but it may not take you that long

I found out my partner was being unfaithful (email, texts, photos etc) a fair few months ago and after much deliberation, arguments and walking out on him (he admitted it) etc etc I forgave him, this happened again another 3 times..again I forgave him. I am now a complete an utter emotional wreck as I think its happening again - I am at a loss as to what to do as there seems to be no love there on his part, no caring, nothing and I feel he is just using me for his pleasure (if you see what I mean!) because I am there. I feel very lonely and very insecure all the time and have lost all my confidence. What would you ladies offer as advice? How do I ask him if he is happy with me or not? I know I should leave him and start again but the prospect of being on my own doesnt fill me with joy. I think once you may be able to forgive however 4 times no I wouldn't I don't mean to sound mean but he doesn't love you, if he did he wouldn't cheat on you It isn't anything you have done, its all about him and you need to remember that. There is no excuse for cheating. I sadly dated someone years ago who cheated and like yourself I forgave him I spent most of our time back together waiting and expecting him to do it again, ultimately he did. You will feel terrible for a while, you have to keep busy, surround yourself with friends and delete his number/email/FB/BBM/ any form of communication. It is hard and I imagine a lot of ladies on here have been through the same thing. You don't need a Man to make you happy and you have to learn to love you first. The 2nd time my ex did it I kicked him out and didn't look back. I changed my number and avoided everywhere I thought I may see him. I eventually stopped thinking about him and he met someone else and did the same to her. Cheaters suck and there is no excuse whatsoever to do it. If he wasn't happy he should leave you alone to meet someone who will make you happy. There is a fab website that gives real information about this. It is by a UK lady who make bad choices in relationships and she will advise you to get rid and go no contact Her website is baggage reclaim and think reading it will help you gain some clarity Take care of yourself. Totally agree. What's wrong with being on your own? Surely that's preferable to sitting alone as one half of a couple and wondering what on earth he's up to and where he is, which will no doubt happen eventually edited by Geordie expat on 26/06/2014

Apologies to all the Muslim ladies on here, but lets just forget the cultural norm and say that it's normal to allow your young sons to go with you to the ladies, until YOU feel happy standing outside the gents while he's in there. Doesn't matter it he's 7 or 10, it's purely a personal decision only a mother can make.

Sorry but lack of common sense and keeping your kids safe, just don't go. There will be any number of young boys out there with loads of common sense, who's Mums just want to make sure they're safe. You obviously have no concept of the types of male predators around, the world over. It doesn't bother me in the slightest, I would rather them be safe. The world has changed since we were young unfortunately. True, but things like this still went on then, and no one was so hung up about young children in the ladies ! edited by Geordie expat on 25/06/2014

Yes and this could be one way of helping them do just that. Teach them that it's wrong to point and stare at women, no matter where they are or what they're doing. You never know what boys of this age can be shown by 'friends' and even before puberty they probably will be aware of the opposite s**. By doing this you can ensure that they show women respect in all circumstances. Anyway, as Daza said, what are they going to see in the ladies, apart from woman washing their hands and repairing their make up edited by Geordie expat on 25/06/2014

I read an article today in 7Days about children's toilet facilities where a mum mentioned she got dirty looks because she'd taken her 9 year old son into the ladies bathroom. She said she was too scared to let him go to the men's toilet alone. It got me thinking about how old is too old to take a boy into the ladies? I don't have children so I can't comment. I'm just genuinely interested for future reference! I don't have kids but I would say 12 It wouldn't bother me as I have a nephew and I remember my Sister taking him in as she didn't want him to use the Gents alone. Years ago it would of been safe but times have changed What do Dads do with their Daughters in this case? [b'>Dads[/b'> will send there [b'>Daughters[/b'> in ladie's, ladies are harmless compared to men Lo! What if she is really young I meant :-) My ex used to ask a much older woman, or a mother with kids around the same age, if he was ever out with the girls alone. Mind that was nearly 30 years ago. edited by Geordie expat on 25/06/2014

At Dubai Ladies' Club boys are allowed until age 7... On Ladies' Days at Dubai municipality parks, the age is 4. (Just for info-- if I had a young son I wouldn't send him in alone to a men's public toilet!) I still think 7 is so young but perhaps that is me :-) Me too I would say probably 10.

PEST CONTROL NEEDED: I know there have been some numbers shared for pest control in various posts. However, can anyone please share them again? Non chemical preferred, but if needed some strong effective spray/pesticide against camel spiders coming IN our house? [b'>For residents in JVT: did you face some problem[/b'>? Quick feedback appreciated. Thanks. Touch wood we've had no issues apart from a couple of HUGE roaches. I think it depends on where you live in JVT.

Happened to DH with a supposed new SIM bought from Etisalat. He got so annoyed he went back to the shop and demanded another one. I think the guy behind the counter was so shocked that he just filled the form in DH signed it and hey presto new number - with no strange calls.
