I can't see the thumbs at all - any idea why? Yes it depends on the browser you're using. I can get them at home using google, but not with this laptop's version of ie.

Well cat flap has been ordered.... and will be installed on Saturday. She will just have to suck it up that only the boys can go outside. :) Have you thought bout getting her a harness!!! could be an idea. Then you can gradually see if she will be ok to venture out on her own. We did that with our cat of little brain and he nearly hung himself ! I didnt mean that the cat be left alone with the harness on. He wasn't left alone. It's worse than having kids ;)

Please beware using bleach to strip out the darker colour. You may go orange, or at worst, I've seen someone loose a lot of straw like hair when they've done this. She brought some into work and it did look and feel like straw. I would think that you may have to grin and bare it and perhaps use temporary brunette colours with no bleach etc in, to get it back to your natural colour and then start over again with the blonde.

Izzy she'll adjust, they always do. Our three always had access to a cat flap where ever we lived back in the UK, but when we first moved here they were kept in for over six months. Now they seem to know that they only go out when we're at home and are always back in the garden by half nine to ten at night. Go with what you feel is right for her, you know her best, but I'm sure she won't suffer.

To be honest I'd be keeping her in permanently. At least our Bengal of very little brain has the sense to only hiss at our two and next doors cats. He keeps well away from strange cats. And I don't think he actually goes much further than the neighbour's gardens.

Went to see Eric Clapton at the Amphitheatre. Got a drink quite easily on our way in and had no problem standing in a reasonably clear area to watch him. Depends on why you're going to the concert, if it's only for a night out a drink and a chat I would say no. And I know I'm being harsh, but there was a lot of people at the Clapton concert who seemed to just be there to do that.

Izzy, just as an aside on this subject and being at home playing 'Norman the Doorman' to our three. This time of year may be best to allow her to go out with the 'big boys'. Ours have all been out and back in within a few minutes. She may be ok as long as you ensure she's locked down overnight.

It's not a question of being subservient, it's usually a case of being practical...Leaving frozen leftovers and no piles of ironing is not mollycoddling, in my opinion, it's making his life easier while he's on his own... Appreciating what your husband does for you is just good manners - are you saying you don't appreciate yours ? Bit of a shame if you never do anything nice for him in case it compromises your "equal" status .... So who makes your life easier? Does your husband ever do your ironing? Do you return from holiday to find he has spring cleaned your home and left nice meals in the freezer, to save you cooking each and every day? I suspect not. I totally appreciate my husband - that's my point! Just because he stays at home with our child, I would never expect him to also provide a maid & cook service. We don't have a maid as we don't like the concept, so we share all the household work between us. After work and at weekends we will clean and wash everything that hasn't been done during the day. I respect that others choose to live differently, but like I've said in another post, I would find it difficult to respect a man who thought it acceptable that I did everything housework-related. Being a partnership we make each other's lives easier - that's what it's about... Yes, I just came back from 2 weeks at home and he spent most of the time clearing the mountain of ironing I left behind !! lol (and no, he didn't get maids in this time...;)). And the house was spotless as it always is when we come back.. Last year he completely redid the garden as a surprise... And we share the cooking all year round anyway...I don't think you can judge how others organise their households and to say you wouldn't respect a man who doesn't do housework ??? Really ? I don't do DIY, mow the lawn, lift heavy furniture or deal with spiders !! lol Would hate to think my husband doesn't respect me because of it...Your way works for you and everyone else's way works for them, doesn't make anybody wrong or right or mean that they should or shouldn't be respected... Totally agree. If we all lived the same lives, what would we talk about on here ;) What works for some will definitely not work for others. Our roles change depending on what we're both up to. I would never leave him with a freezer full of food as he wouldn't A) expect it and B) probably wouldn't even eat it. He prefers cooking himself, and no it wouldn't just be take away's or ready meals. Same goes for the housework, if I'm away for whatever reason, I know I wouldn't come back to a tip. And he's probably have done any washing and ironing that was laying around.

It is. Although Depending on what Your looking for I would rcmd the new huge pet shop in Green Community for clothing, adults and kids plus hats, gloves, a few choices of boots ect... I found they had a LOT more choice than horseworld, who rcmd some riding pants that are far too small for me and when I got home the stitching is coming off :( I can second this. The shop is fab and the owners are more than happy to help with whatever you need :)

Blow dry every 6 days at 150 Pedicure every 10-14 days...think that's about 80 or 90? Gellish Manicure every 2 weeks - has to be 150 or Manicure every 10 days and repolish every 5 days Hair colour - 300-400 - every 4 weeks Hair cut - c300 every 8 weeks Makeup - do myself Waxing - I don't Eyebrows - do myself....no one touches my precious brows!! Facial Threading - prefer to bleach In retrospect, my salon (Yas in Souk al Bahar) is very expensive but it's always full!!! Now I'm going to go to Amro for nails I really want to stop doing salon blowdrys as the salons here are so lazy that they just rough dry your hair til it's 95% dry and then start the styling, meaning that it looks good for about one evening and then that's it. No matter how many times I tell them they need to curl-dry my hair from *damp*. Anyway, the reason I always go to the salon is that I like to wash my hair in bottled water, which is literally the only way that my hair can stay in a decent condition. A lot of people here cannot have long hair without extensions as the water ravages the hair so badly! And extensions are tooooo expensive Sorry, but when do you find the time to do all this???

Thanks GE. Any advice on accessories? ( I am useless at co-ordinating anything...) Chunky jewellery? Hat? Scarf? Personally I don't like chunky jewellery, but that's just me. With a dress like that you could choose a contrasting hat and shoes etc. Do you have an idea of what the weather should be like as that will dictate what else you would need?

Personally I like the dress and my stance on weddings is, as long as you feel comfortable and don't outdo the bride, you're fine. Once you've added some accessories you'll feel more like a wedding.

Taking a step back from legalities and feelings....he did give you many months notice to find other accommodations. Why are you complicating your life by taking people to court? Just look for another property and get on with your life. Its not as if he gave you less than minimum time to move or anything. OK so yes he is giving them plenty of notice. But..... if he then tries to relet at a higher rent, isn't this just playing to the LLs tunes. Also why should we have to think about moving every 12 months, it works out mighty expensive.
