it really is amazing the crashes these guys have and walk away.... 'Cause they and the bikers are proper sportsmen, unlike footballers ;) edited by Geordie expat on 10/04/2014 edited by Geordie expat on 10/04/2014

OMG - that camera angle was awesome Al Hmadillilah he walked away.... Mandanalo (sp) gonna get the Ralph Schumacher reputation.... Nearly as good as when Mark flew upside down. Shame he's only got a 4 place grid penalty next race.

You get a discount if they share, which I think is 20%. Sorry I haven't got the details on me, but if you look on their website, it's all well explained. Also if you can get hold of one of the pet explorer books, they have vouchers in for DKC too. They are probably more expensive that some others, but we have always used them and trust them. Our three had to spend their first 3/4 weeks there when we moved here and they were fine. The cat enclosures have both indoor and outdoor space.

Our three are fine at DKC. They have never come back stressed or anything. just relaxed and very huffy with us for leaving them, but that's normal ;)

Yesterday when I was walking my dog, he came to close to a street cat and it tried to scratch my dog. This morning walking the same route the same cat jumped on my dog screaming and properly attacking him. My dog is the sweetest thing and does nothing to defend himself, so I have to pull him away with the leash. Where can I report this cat, as I'm worried about diseases? Have children water gun - the small one - fill it with water, then take your own rout as usual, then once this particular cat try to approach him squeeze the water gun toward the cat, do the same for a week, then this cat will mind it's own business after that, just seeing the water gun - no need to spray anymore - will just remind that cat to stay away from your do. HTH No way, not when she's protecting her babies. Just try and get her some help edited by Geordie expat on 08/04/2014

I can't see them during the day and very rarely go on here evenings and weekends, and to be honest they don't really bother me. I would probably only use them if I wanted to 'like' a post, which I did the other day and had to reply with 'like'

[b'>[/b'>Isnt it too hot ? we went for lunch yesterday at the madinat in the meat Co an we sat outside and it was hot ... Sorry to hijack, but what was the Meat Co like? We're going for dinner tonight. Love it .. one of my favorite places. t[b'>ell them its your dining friends birthday and they will come over and sing happy birthday with african drums and stuff [/b'>! I had the Burger ( big portion ) with onion rings and steak fries., Husband has the Ribs with fries . really sweet and sticky. why on earth woudl anyone want that??? Was thinking the same. Even if we do have a birthday we don't mention it to keep the singing staff away ? only reason you would want that would be if shooting was legal :D Don't worry, we wouldn't want that either. As long as they have a view of the fountains they'll be happy and as long as DH gets a good dinner he'll be happy :)

me too - but it seems she had turned her life around and was an excellent mother for those two boys. Just been looking at some online pictures of her and the boys. Heartbreaking, when you see the love in her eyes as she looks at them.

Have a look at Amazon. They've recently taken over LoveFilm and there are a load of older series on there for a monthly fee. You will need the three letter thing, of course ;)

Love it. I'm not able to see or use the thumbs on this comp :(

parking sucky thou...... and use your rta app so that you dont have to put more money in.... I know we may just opt for the Metro instead, but if we don't I'll certainly use the phone to pay for parking.

From Ibn Battuta get the metro to Burjuman/Khalid Bin Walid, you'll then get off and change to the other line. My route would be :) Get off at Al Fahidi Street but ask for the exit that is nearest the Museum (there are 4 exits). Walk down towards Bastakiya/The Museum, take a wander round Bastakiya stopping in the Arabian Tea House cafe for lunch. From there, walk down the alleyways/side streets past the temple stopping to look at Indian/sari type fabrics etc. Eventually reaching the textile souq which has lots of touristy type things and nice pashminas/shoes etc. Cross on the abra over to the other side and wander round the spice souk/gold souk - abra back over and stop at Bait Al Wakheel (inside the textile souk) for a mint lemonade to watch the sunset and the boats coming in from abroad. Walk along beside the creek to Gubaiba station to get back to Burjuman, change train & back to Ibn Battuta. *watch your timings as some of the shops in the spice souk may not open 1pm-4pm. Ladies if I want to take visitors to do this, where is the best place to park instead of using the Metro. Thanks

Great! Thanks ladies. I let it go and acted as if nothing happened this morning. Not a regular thing though.. Boys will be boys you’re right. Just don’t want him to get used to it and feel what he did is okay to me and maybe next time he won't mind doing it again. But next time he will do it again, will defo need to do something about it. Just leave him to himself if there is a next time. Don't pander to him

do you think they will sell anymore or is it totally sold out ??? Unlikely as the concert was last night :-D It was great until rain stopped play. Left feeling a little cheated! I saw that it rained, and felt relieved in a way LOL sorry I am just bitter I didn't get to see UB40. We went to see Sir Geldof and after 30 minutes it rained very heavy and went home! They were great although wringing out my clothing because of the downpour wasn't pleasant I looked like a drowned rat! Sitting on my hands ;)
