My dilemma is that the part on my phone into which you insert the charger to charge the battery is stuffed. Therefore I cannot used my ph, it's flat. I've bought a new phone, but it would really be greatly appreciated if anyone who does have a samsung S2 could take my battery, insert it into their phone and charge it for me, so that I can access any info that is stored on the ph itself, like photos and documents, I can email them to myself. I'll be happy to come to wherever you are and drop it over night to let it charge and collect it the next day. Here's hoping, fingers crossed :D TIA

I have had 3 Iphones and they all died on me so I have gone to Samsung :-) I think most of them are a similar price in the UAE Have a look at Jadopado ice4uae Sharaf DG Gee that's really bad luck!! I've been comparing my samsung to my husbands iphone 5s and I like his much better. So hard to decide now!!

Thanks so much Kezzler!! So nice of you to research for me!! The top I'm looking for is tighter fitting, almost like a skivvie, but without the turtle neck. To wear under see through short sleeved blouses (with jacket on top) so I don't have to go changing my whole summer business wardrobe to a winter one. I will check these places out. Where is Boutique 1? Harvey nicks and bloomies, are they are dubai mall? thanks so much :D

Hi ladies!!! I was just wondering if anyone has had keratin hair treatment here in Dubai? If so, where, how much and was it good/has it been effective???!!! Many thanks! I prefer hair botox over keratin. I love how my hair feels after treatment and it lasts up to 3-4 months. I pay about 500 AED for my medium length hair. Forgot to mention I get it done from Beauty Plus Ladies salon located in satwa. edited by rose717 on 21/01/2014 what is hair botox?

I recently had keratin done at Violetta's Salon in JLT. I noticed she was very careful not to get any on my scalp, maybe this is a precaution..... Anyway It's been about 6 weeks, it's still perfect, I bought some products (shampoo, conditioner and a mask), which I use twice a week. She only charges dhs500 and my hair is mid-back length.

Thanks Apricot. I'm scared stiff of Satwa, only because I just started driving for the first time in my life 6 months ago and the GPS on my ph isn't working. I have, have, have to buy one this weekend. Khallas, enough!! Would love to check this place out.

as far as I know, giving perfume as party favours is an emirati tradition. I'm wondering if you could put up notices at obviously arabic beauty clinics/hairdressers. Some brides might see them and be interested. YOu might need an arabic friend to go with you though. Tricky one, I'd be very very very irate if I were in your position!! Thanks Ginnee... never thought of that as an option... will ask around at a couple of local salons and see if something materializes! See if someone can do you up a sign in arabic, if you can't find someone I'll get hubby to do it for you.

to be honest Genie, i find polo necks easier as they you don't have any flashes.... and personally i feel more confident with a polo neck than a crew neck long sleeve tee. Yeah I've considered it Izzy, how they'd look under some of the dresses I have. Maybe I need to try some on in the store. Thanks.

Once you've exhausted all avenues suggested here, please consider it might be physiological. I was a bedwetter and it was horrible. after trying all these options they finally decided (at the age of about 13) to do an investigation of my bladder using a small camera (quite non invasive, under a general). Nthing wrong with it, only it seemd a bit on the small side. so while they were at it, they stretched my bladder using air (I think). Never had a problem since. To think all that suffering - for me and for my poor mum, was due to this amazes me. It really impacted my childhood and adolescence in a negative way. So please don't rule this out.

Thanks Mrsb. I went to splash yesterday and managed to find two of the colours I was after. They had a large range of colours, but they were higher-necked than what I wanted.Kind of 1/4 turtle neck. I'm looking for ones that cover the collar bones but dont go up the neck. I'll keep looking. but in the meantime, I'm also looking for this style of top, but it's finely knitted in glittery type thread, the fabric itself is quite fine and thin. Hard to explain. Some are gold, some silver, and some are black with specks of colour. I've been seeing them everywhere (when I had no money to spend) and now Ive been paid I can't seem to find them anywhere!!

If you google Coco Chanels apartment you will find that she used very decorative dividers as wall decor, and to seperate spaces. I saw some of these in dragon mart, but of course hubby was saying 'yella, yella' so I didn't get a chance to grab one. they were quite nice and solid looking.

This reminds me of the toilet scene in Along Came Polly with Ben Stiller, where he ends up using her towel for the same thing, it blocks the toilet and he uses her $200 back scrubber from Sweden to try to unblock the loo :D Personally, I'd chuck them, not something I fancy facing!!

"That made me laugh. I recently heard someone say " Do you not know who I am" and the person shouted down the queue "does anyone know who this person is as they don't know who they are". The entire queue laughed and needless to say the person went very red and shuffled off " I love this!!! I will have to remember that one. Be comforted. I LIVE with a constant commentator. My dear, dear husband. Every single time we watch something together he commentates every scene. And of course a lot of the time you, as a normal intelligent human being can see what's coming. He can't help it, he tells me what's about to happen just in case I cant' figure it out for myself. I like to watch movies in silence, and let the MOVIE itself set the mood. but no, I have a running commentary. It's so, so annoying. Or if we're watching something non-fiction he'll tell me what he supposes is going to happen next all the while I'm straining my ears to hear the tv to find out what is actually going on. I tell him, "I'd rather hear it from them, if you don't mind". He's slowly learning, but he's a motor mouth :D

This company delivers: [url=http://www.dubaipetfood.com/shop/frontpage.html'>link[/url'> They have some scratchers under cat toys and the big ones under activity centers. Laura, I just went on their site and ordered a cheap scratchy thingy and some sprays, one to deter and one to titilate :) They will deliver in 48 hours they say :) Thanks a lot

Cats dont really like the smell of oranges so get some orange essential oil and put on things you don't want to be scratched. Put catnip leaves on things they can Cut their nails weekly - mine cry like am trying to declaw them with a blunt razoor blade but it doesn't hurt them. Yes I have clove and orange oil, so was thinking of diluting it and spraying it around the furniture, and loading a scratching post with cat nip!! Great minds think alike. I actually found one in JLT - nice and close - for 80dhs. I will have to cut their nails, yes and maybe even file them blunt :D
