I had my eyebrows done with Chloe at Sisters in Dubai Mall, its a new service they do and shes UK trained. I love mine its so natural. She tends to be cautious first time then use the top up a month later to add if it needs it. Want to do my lips and eyes next.

they sell the official ones in bloomingdales also in dubai mall, the clothes bit. or you can search the official sleep in rollers website and they have different sets. for novices I'd recommend the set with the pink dryer hood littleone recommended (available in bloomies and sisters). put rollers in, put hood on and dry with heat that way til hot, then wait til totally cool before you remove. theres a professional tip for u! and no i dont work for them I'm a hairdresser.

yeah dubai laundry is the metal ones, i tried him first. it sounds daft i know but the ones we got hold of have a really short neck and the way our wardrobe is divided these means DH's tops sit exactly right whereas before the trailed on the ledge underneath. (yes hes very picky!!) might have to just drive round...

So sorry for your loss, I just went thru this too, very very hard to get your head around. I had the d&c at City and was out the same day, few days bleeding and then physically I was fine, obv depends on each person. I try to be a positive person and the way the dr explained a blighted ovum is that its chromosomal, so the baby wasnt going to be healthy and its the bodys way of dealing with it. still heartbreaking tho as I was the same as you, right up unto a few days before I had all the symptoms of pregnancy, tho luckily no morning sickness. My dr said the optimum is waiting 3 months, but at least 1 so your womb can re-line itself, I was also warned that you are extremely fertile after the op, I took this a bit to heart and have since had 2 periods and was pinning myself on it happening right away, so please try not to do that as your putting yourself thru extra stress. I've now tried to get my head to a place why I'm not thinking about it. it happened before without trying so trying to let that happen again. difficult tho when your a fighter and you feel like you want to do something about it! big hugs to you, its a massive shock but you will get thru it. I found this really comforting and gave me hope. when I read lots of forums afterwards I kept seeing the term 'rainbow baby', naively thought people meant mixed race! then someone put this explanation: 'rainbow babies' are the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravagesof the storm. When a rainbow appears, it does not mean that the storm never happened or that the family is not still dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and the clouds. Storm clouds may still loom over but the rainbow provides a counterbalance of colour, energy, and much needed hope.

starting properly today, I find I dont eat as much on days off so hopefully find fasting on those days easier, prob cos I'm away from where I work in Dubai mall surrounded by temptation!! and for that reason I'm hoping the newly opened kcal will save me too! and help me do the odd fast on work days. might try 4:3 to kick start me. the book shop in dubai mall has tons of books on it by the way and also other books on 200-300 cal recipes etc. I understood it helped to keep calorie content of non diet days fairly sensible? I'm gonna use myfitnesspal again as I find it good for encouraging mr to keep fruit and veg content up as proves their so low calorie. also understood it best to try and do it like micheal mossley did and 2 meals within a certain window so you have long fast periods? friend of mine does it where he only eats inbetween 8am and 5pm so then fasting after that and said had good results. suppose is lots of ways!

so were not up til end of september but kind of pre-emoting our greedy landlord. This is our first contract, a client told me the other day that he cant increase rent in the first two years, is that still the case? We made sure he registered the contract with Ejari as the last tenant warned us hes a pain at the end of contract. and looking at the calculator u cant do it any longer than 2 months so bit pointless if your notice period is 3 months... We really want to stay here and whole reason were addressing it early is debating whether to buy new furniture for 2nd bed lol. Frustrating thing is we paid well over the odds in the first place but were desp for the apartment and it was right as everything boomed last september. Looking on the rera website but really just want a simple view of what he can and cant do.

I know there's loads of Botox threads but my question is, is there a filler u can have that can be used to plump small lines round the eyes and also slight lip plumping? I don't want to pay for 2 full syringes for just a few lines for different areas. From my googling juverderm ultra seems to be the one but does anyone have any experience? And where did u get it done? Thanks

Hershey in Dubai mall has every kind of chip for baking I found last week. Even stuff I'd previously bought over from uk, butterscotch, semi sweet, white choc, peanut butter. Only thing is they're massive bags which is dangerous to have in our house as they often don't mak it into the cookies/brownies....

I had never heard of this either until after all the hoops we've jumped thru I finally went to the drs to confirm the pregnancy last week thinking I was 10 weeks, sadly not, the sac was there but nothing else. such a cruel trick that your body plays when u still have the signs of pregnancy. maybe it accounts for why I wasnt feeling particularly sick and symptoms were slowly reducing the days proceeding the appt. I really feel your pain its utterly heartbreaking. I was grateful I read the responses below as was nervous of the D&C but waiting naturally seemed more horrific and I wanted closure and to move on. I had the op yesterday and the hospital dr and nurses were fantastic as well as my lovely husband. the dr explained to us that the baby obv wasnt healthy and so its the bodys way of dealing with it, there is nothing at all that you have done or couldve done to prevent it. nonetheless its still very painful thing to hear. I'm trying to stay positive and much research indicates that women generally only endure one of these types of miscarriage and go on to have a successful pregnancy. we got pregnant very easily last time and I'm a believer that it happened for a reason and we are due some good fortune.

I've def said it would be nice to go away a last time just us, and also maybe uk trip as many people tell me it's cheaper with better choice for things like buggies etc. Got shop n ship so that I'm sure will be a godsend. Keep the tips coming I'm loving reading them as too soon to tell friends that have been there already.

acidophilus is a very good probiotic supplement to take. and after recently suffering acute enterocolitus I'm going on a gluten free paleo style diet as DH also been told he has high cholesterol so I'm puttingus on the right path with food. If your looking for recipe inspiration pinterest.com is amazing. just search paleo or gluten free and tons of free recipes come up. I searched paleo a few moths ago and hardly anything came up so shows you how much its boomed with even a lot of nutritionists recommending it.

or if you do have microwave, jacket potato and beans? or tuna mayonnaise got me thinking now! I'm currently trying to formulate a healthy meal plan but involves bit of advance planning but I love salad, and I dont mean salad tomato cucumber, thats my worst nightmare! I tend to do more with quinoa/lentils (you can buy microwave pouches in waitrose now) shredded chicken mixed veg etc. or you can throw a stirfry together quickly, they have ready made veg stirfry packs in waitroses veg section and could even buy ready made rotisserie chicken...

I agree with Wednesday genius, me and dh are not really into valentines but I've used it before just as an excuse for a nice meal etc and the early days we used to celebrate but not so much now. I would just say to him 'do u fancy doing something for valentines?' Very casual, not being soppy, and just see what response u get. I don't agree if he got u a Xmas present he'll get u a something for vday, mine never has yet! But always got Xmas pressies. Don't attach too much worth to it, it's one day. If fellas can only make effort one day of the yr cos they're expected to not cos they've done it off their own feelings then I'd rather not have it! It's spontaneity that keeps the passion burning!

Jamal of Golden scissors just did my bedroom ones and they came out great, very professional. and put up some old curtains for me in the 2nd bedroom for nothing. brought lots of samples and came with different price ranges too. I've seen him recommended on here for sofa covering too so going to look at doing that my inlaws have been and get the lounge curtains done with him too. was very good. 0505882773

I'm hoping to start a new job soon and get a visa but as I live with a friend I dont want to get a tenancy contract! and it makes no sense as you cant get a tenancy contract without a visa anyway!! has anyone had any recent experience?

I did go for the skin analysis. I don't remember all the brands, but they recommended the Dermic Caviar eyecream for me. http://www.dermic.ch/html/caviar-eye-cream.html The lady told me the face cream from the range is just like La Prairie / La mer and costs about 1/3rd of what they do. She said she uses it and her skin was amazing so it should work. edited by Lady_SilverX on 31/05/2011 I went yesterday and they also recommended it, does it work for you?? I cannot find any independent reviews on it.

we went a few weeks back and stayed in lower east side, so glad we did as feel we wouldve missed out on this side of new york had we stayed right next to the tourist attractions. taxis are plentiful but we did tons of walking, very necessary given all the yummy restaurants we went to! of which tons were on our doorstep, we had a few recommendations then a waiter gave us some more on the first night and all were amazing. we stayed at 'hotel on rivington' lovely boutique hotel and the surrounding area has amazing bars restaurants and shops. was close to the subway, though we never used it, and is near the famous Katz deli (from the when Harry met Sally film) some restaurant recommendations for you (all are quite relaxed not fancy places but AMAZING food!): (most are turn up and wait so go 30-40 mins before you think you'll be hungry! Katz deli- for pastrami sandwiches and bagels The Spotted *** - Michelin starred quirky pub/restaurant with amazing food in west village Momofuku Noodle Bar - great for lunch or dinner. So good I bought their cookbook! Have the pork buns, addictive! Momofuku also has ssam bar, another rest we decided to have dinner at we loved it that much! The Meatball Shop - as it sounds, was near our hotel. The BEST meatballs I have ever had!! unfortunately their cookbook wasnt out before we left or I wouldve bought that one too! (have decided cookbooks are my new holiday souvenirs!) Colluccio and Sons - book for this one, fab Italian food in very glam restaurant nr Chelsea Buddakan (meatpacking district) - like buddha bars style of food but more of a restaurant, quite trendy, again amazing food here, this was where the waiter gave us his great recommendations Serendipity - this is a daytime one if your near Bloomingdales, go here via Dylans Candy Bar (famous sweet shop) as its on the way, is a really quirky cafe that serves amazing sundaes, eat lunch first at your peril, we only had starters and shared the halloween sundae which was a monster! we couldnt finish it all! again expect a little wait but we put our names down and went back to dylans for a nosy there before coming back for our table. Another recommendation we had that looked great (but didnt go cos hubby had shorts on and felt undressed) was Rouge Tomate, this is just near central Park and looked quite healthy. As you can tell I LOVED New York and its food!! def want to go back there again, we had another ton of recommendations we never got to sample. All of these have websites. Tourist stuff, we did Empire State at sunset. book it online before you go, we didnt and queued 40 mins and nearly missed sunset. Also Ground Zero is ticgain book before you go. We didnt :( We didnt go to Statue of Liberty as it was heaving and dont do crowds, we took the staton Island Ferry which is free and goes past it. If you have a DSLR you'll get great pics anyway. Chelsea Market is actually quite a cool place to walk around and is nr the The Highline Park, which is a park raised above the city formed from the dis-used railway tracks. Is a nice way to walk across town. My sis in law did ice skating in central park and recommended it but we didnt have suitable clothes and hubby was scared! take warm clothing! take sensible footwear! Oh and wine prices are about the same as they are here!

aramex charge you by the weight of your parcel, so I wouldnt use it for books or heavy stuff! you can use their calculator to work out what the charge is going to be before you order if you know the weight. you dont get charged by customs or anything as you would if say you just posted shopping to a PO Box. so is worth it. My hubby ordered clothes last year to his po box off a site and got stung by customs for about 200dhs but when ordered using shop and ship it was only 41dhs as was light. bear in mind customs is charged for the value but aramex is by weight. if you order off amazon or anywhere make sure they ship all items in one container, they sent my 3 dvds out seperately and cost me 41dhs for each one!
