Ahh.. Forget it;) The photo has over 2500 comments and almost everyone is wondering the same thing. Why is he in a hospital gown, on a hospital bed, with a near bare chest!! You must have seen photos like this all the time, this is was my first:)

Looking for a desk that is suitable for the height of children under 10. Homework on the dining table is a chore! I don't want the ones that have the back and sides closed. I want one with all four sides open. Kind of like the Ikea ones only bigger. Any idea where I could find one?

As long as they don't take our much needed half terms away, I am happy. I think September 20 is fab! I am overjoyed to have all this time with my children. Hello ladies, sorry I have updated this thread. My MIL was here and I was extremely busy. Things are pretty much the same. Since the 15 of march that she left she has visited us once. She dropped in one Thursday evening about 3 weeks after she had gone for about 15 mins. She had a cup of tea and left. The children were all over her and took her upstairs to show her their gifts from the new year. She had nothing to say and was pretty emotionless, she just silently sat sipped the cup of tea and left. I can see everything crystal clear now. She is just very emotionally detached from us. I viewed her differently and saw her beyond an employee. But obviously to her we were just employers. @sueB. When we initially asked her to go and had to deal with the emotional breakdown of the children when they found out. My husband decided to keep her on. We sent her home for a holiday, so she could come back to start her new contract with us. But when she came back, only 3-4 days after her being here, I felt she just didn't want to be here. She had set her heart on leaving and I am sure she thought the grass is greener on the other side and thought she will find somewhere where she can make upwards of 2000dhs. So the final decision of leaving was up to her. @summerdream No, we are not well off! If I had to spend even a quarter of that money on myself, I would have a hard time. But it was for a good cause, this investment could have changed her life forever. Maybe she could have out it towards a home. @sandy dog. We don't always do things for others because we owe them. Sometimes it is just about doing something nice, something extra just to make someone happy. I wasnt trying to achieve anything other than making her happy by it. Thank you all for listening when I needed to vent.

She only wanted to work for another year or 2 at the max. I didn't want my children to suddenly cut fom her, I wanted it to be gradual. I thought if she works here on the compound for the remainder of her time in Dubai, it will be easier for the children.
