I don't read a lot novels. But when I do it is usually in these lines. Some friends gave me a gift of set a books once. But I haven't read them yet. One is three cups of tea(non fiction) and the other is a case of exploding mangoes. A prisoner in Tehran must be a great read, but I don't have the heart to read it as it too close to my heart.

I can't believe you did that!!!!! That is exactly what I did:) I moaned and whined so much through out the film. My sister kept on saying "but this is a movie" and I said how dare they make that lovely book into a movie if they couldn't get it right!:) I have seen memoirs of a geisha and I liked it. I have ordered the book after you mentioned it on here. Wil let you know. edited by Irooni on 07/03/2012

Love both the Kite Runner and A thousand Splendid sons.. I am an avid reader and prefer a book to a movie. The movie captured a lot of the book, in both beautiful and haunting images, yet something felt as though it was missing..... While the book is twisty and tragic, the film is all off on the deliverance. When it reveals the book’s biggest twist, it’s a fact that’s simply stated to Amir and takes just moments for him to accept. It relies too much on the audience to fill in the emotional blanks, and I just couldn’t do it. Another let down of a movie from a book was the Geisha So, I finally watched it tonight. It did not do the book justice:( So many parts were rushed, so much was missing. If you haven't read the book, definitely read it. No comparison! My point exactly.. does no justice to the book. Like most movies that are based on books. Agree wholeheartedly.

"I would do whatever it takes to keep her happy. If it's a BlackBerry she wants, it's a BlackBerry she'll have,"[/i'> Hmm wonder if I could try this one out on DH No darlin! Your hubby is Iranian, I bet my last penny, that won't work on him!;) x

Didn't she just lose it when her husband was leaving? I mean it was the most normal situation to behave normally in. Besides her husband is the one who has labelled her with all these disorders, not a professional, so maybe she doesnt need any help after all.

I honestly don't know what a British accent is! If one is from Britain the accet is either English, Welsh, Scottish or Irish. All very different accents. oh well, they've got the london accent, the northern accent, the cornish accent and the southern accent.. take your pick. :D Dont forget brummies. scousers, geordies, yorkies hundreds of accents :-) Off course :D but they still fall under the English flag;)

Service that not availble or availble but the market can accommdate more? Or product that not availble in Dubai and you will buy it? I'm really out of ideas since i feel everything is already there . Any idea will be really apreciated? yes...wheely bin cleaning, I would love someone to swing by and clean mine, no maid you see. There is a UK franchise called wheely bin cleaning company....aso the Second Cup (coffee shop) have franchises available, and kitchenware company called Pantry Magic I cannot believe this is a business ? I thought someone will have a highly recommended company, who can actually clean to high standards. Come as a group finish the whole house in a couple of hours and leave. But I'm yet to hear of such a company:( edited by Irooni on 05/03/2012

Is he breaking things & slamming doors intentionally? Is he angry/upset/frustrated when these things happen? My DS is doing the same thing but intentionally. However he has only ever destroyed his own things, granted much of that has been purchased by us. We have not purchased any electronics for him for over a year because of his outbursts. And there are consequences when he does act out. Oh dear, I am not looking forward to my children's teenage years:(
