IMHO, Kate Middleton is much more beautiful than any of the Hollywood starlets that we see nowadays. Very true. She is a natural beauty and her grace adds to it. Notice how thin and flat her upper lip is. But it really doesn't matter with her beauty she doesn't need the botox lips, raised eyebrows and plum cheeks. Perfect as is!

Have to agree, the bust of the dress (both dresses in fact) did look slightly as though it did not fit properly, probably because she has lost so much weight recently, [b'>the boobies are usually the first to be hit by any weightloss.[/b'> REALLY?? I wish! :( [b'>I would prefer her style anyday to most of the celebrity weddings featured in the likes of Hello, with boobs stuffed up to the chin, fake mahogany tan, fake nail, fake eyelashes and the rest.[/[/b'>quote'> Agree! She looked very elegant.

I have a no TV in the child's room (or any bedroom for that matter) policy. DD has an old computer that can't play DVDs and CDs and is not connected to the internet in her room. She uses it for word processing and playing teachers. DD (7) has a nintendo DS and DS (5) has a leapster. They barely use them. Maybe once every couple of weeks. But they are used a lot when we are on holidays and they have less with them. They can both work with our iPads and hubby's iPhone. iPhone usually on long drives and the iPad as a super special treat. HTH

I will just list some of the meals that come to my mind randomly. Shepard's pie lasagne Creamed chicken with Pasta Vegetable rissotto with Chicken Chicken Burritos Fajitas Chicken Chowmein Moussaka Oven baked chicken and veggies with couscous and chickpeas Homemade burgers and Chips (very original and innovative;) Spaghetti Bolognasie Fusion meals Eg: Rice with chicken and veggies, baked in a cream sauce with cheese Chicken souvlaki and chips oven baked salmon with dill rice and hollandaise sauce Kababs with saffron rice and tomatoes Green thai curry and rice Oven baked White fish with garlic and cilantro I will add to the list tomorrow. Hope this helps xx edited by Irooni on 01/05/2011

2 adults, 2 children (aged 5and 7) and househelp. I do a big shop for food, cleaning supplies and toiletries the beginning of the month which costs around 2000. Then a top up of roughly 250 a week (if not less) every week for only milk, bread and fresh fruit and vegetables; nothing else. I cook everyday and the cost includes the childrens lunch boxes and my and my househelp's phone credit. We are not vegetarian and our food includes a lot of red meat, chicken and fish. I cook prawns maybe twice a month. We also have a lot of lunch/dinner guests on a weekly basis. I usually cook enough so I can ive a plate to the gardener and security guys. I only shop at union co-op and the only items I buy from spinneys are bread, milk and watermelon! Total monthly bill 2500-3000dhs.

Irooni the Middletons run their own business and are self made millionaires, £250 K is not that large amount for such a wedding contribution. The rest of the money was mainly Royal family and then the State (UK tax payer) paid for security/policing etc. To add that Prince William's net worth is around 28 million sterling. Some weddings held in this region still top the list as the most expensive weddings in history. As LT says the income generated by this one event for the UK will far outweigh the spend.:\: edited by Sticky Wicket on 01/05/2011 I was talking about the Middletons........not "The Firm".... ;);) That's what I thought too! SW confused me, I thought I got it wrong!lol

SW, I can't really call it a contribution cause 87,000 of this amount was just for their hotel and a lot was spent on the family's wedding attire and jewellery. I just thought that the bride's jewellery and the cost of the hotel would be paid by Prince William's family. edited by Irooni on 01/05/2011

Just read today that they are self made millionaires. Good for them. The proudest person in the Abbey must have been Catherine's father. He must have constantly been thinking, with all the eligible girls in the UK, the future King chose MY DAUGHTER! Gives me goosebumps! awwww:)

Can't say it was shared, as the wedding has cost over 10 million. Nonetheless, 250,000 is a lot of money for non-royals! It's probably the best business investment the family ever made.......... Haha, where is a LOVE tab on EW when you really want it!:)

I read somewhere today that the wedding (off course not the entire wedding!) has cost the Middletons (i can't believe my computer doesn't have a sterling sign!:\: ) 250,000 pounds!!!! They have paid for everything from the bride's dress and jewellery and bouquet to all 71 rooms in Goring hotel. Pippa's dress has cost them 20,000 pounds!! Are all retired airline staff this wealthy?? Apparently they have to pay for a portion of the honeymoon as well. So the customs of the bride's family having to pay stays into effect even if one marrys a Prince??:\: edited by Irooni on 01/05/2011 edited by Irooni on 01/05/2011

Just found this Catherine shares ancestors with her husband Prince William; the closest relationship is via William's mother through a common descent from Sir Thomas Fairfax and his wife Agnes Gascoine, making the couple fifteenth cousins.[68'> She is also related more distantly to William through her father's side through common descent from Sir William Gascoine and his wife, née Lady Margaret Percy.[69'> The couple are also possibly twelfth cousins once removed, circumstantial evidence suggesting that they are both descended from Sir Thomas Leighton and Elizabeth Knollys.[70'>[71'>[/ Now look up British food and the world's top chefs and resturants! You cannot seriously be dragging this on? :\::\: edited by Irooni on 29/04/2011

Wonderful day. Kate & William are a gorgeous couple and I wish them all the best. Wish Princess Diana had been there. I hate Camilla and I hope she's never queen and Charles is never king after what they put Diana through - she was 20 when she married and he was 32 so much older .He took a beutiful young girl who was madly in love with him and destroyed her. Kate's dress was lovely and Pippa's too but I thought it should not have been cream - it looked liked a bride's dress, also Kate's Mum's outfit was gorgeous but too pale and close in colour to the brides. William looks so in love with Kate. We're keeping the bunting at the ready to celebrate the royal birth! The Brits do pomp and ceremony like no one else. Long may these traditions remain we all need a bit of romance and magic in our lives. Cheers! Lovely rancher! Specially the bit about princess DI and Charles and .... edited by Irooni on 29/04/2011

I have to agree with Manufan, I thought Diana would turn in her grave with Camila on that balcony with her SON and now daughter in law.. She is awful, i thought she was going to do a micheal jackson with one of her grandchildren over the balcony until charles told her to put her down,, Did anyone see that? Also i seemed to have missed one of the kisses, i only saw one and they said there were 2 ! I thought I was the only one who cant stand Camila, so glad I am not alone. From a true princess to.....oh what's the word!

Yes I know there is more to it Than what you mentioned, but it surely isn't world famous like the royal family's traditions and the British mannerisms, etiquette and discipline, now is it? edited by Irooni on 29/04/2011
