I realised that I had a great deal more 'cultural acclimatisation' to do when I suggested that instead of gifts we make a donation to charity and inform clients of that. Oh, the laughs that raised in our department! Once we received an Arabic Music CD form one of our clients for Ramadan and the interesting part of it was that it mentioned on the packing and the card that all the money they have paid for the gift was given to a charity. Like a charity company that does corporate gifts and they bought the CD from them. I have been trying to locate the company online but no luck.

I'm sorry that you lost your job. having work experience in UAE, I'm sure you will find a job very soon. Here are the links to some recruitment agencies that might help. And PLEASE, do not pay any agency to find you a job. It is illegal here for agencies to charge candidate and it is always the employer who is paying the agency. http://www.monstergulf.com/ http://www.naukrigulf.com/ni/nijobsearch/loc-jobs-dubai/ http://www.gulftalent.com/home/index.php http://www.bayt.com/en/uae/jobs/locations/dubai/

If you are in the first or the second raw then you just have to push the break so that you can drive as soon as the lights go green. But if you are far from the signal then you should put the gear in Neutral and use the hand break. But you should listen to your instructor I passed the test six years ago and the rules might have changed since then.Good luck with your test.

I don't think you should end a friendship just because you have gone separate ways and that she has changed over time.Real friends are not that easy to be found and a part of being friends is to accept each other for who we are and support each other. Real friendships may change over time but they usually don't end.you don't have to see her all the time or stay in contact as much as you did before but you don't have to end your friendship. If you still love her as a friend and you are not comfortable with the ways she treats her loved ones, you should discuss it with her and tell her how you feel about it. What is a friendship if we can not be honest with our friends?

The Qasqai is a more solid built and quality feel car to drive, I had one and agree about the space, the Honda is really nice looking and feels lighter but does not feel as well made as the Qashqai imo, having said that the Qasqai is not that nippy either. Depends what your priority is. Space, performance or build quality. I would go for a Nissan generally over a Honda for dependabilty but I would not buy the Qashqai again as I was dissapointed with the performance. why were you disappointed with the performance? Being a crossover I found it very sluggish in 'auto' drive which is when the car selects either 2 wheel drive or 4WD for you, and it used a lot of fuel in 'auto' too -the only way to make it at all zippy was to keep it permanently in 2WD to get any kind of good acceleration out of it, so really the crossover feature I thought was redundant, it performed well on sand in 4WD but I would have to select that manually as it was not efficient when left in 'auto select drive mode'. ETA - I absolutely love the Juke, test drove one last weekend, Definately my next car, but smaller of course than the CRV and Q. I don't need the space so its fine for me. edited by Di@DXB on 09/05/2012 Juke was my first choice too,but I have my family visiting me twice a year and they usually stay for a while and they are all tall:D I need a car that has plenty of space at the back seat.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. Some bosses can be really terrible.I've experience with few of them. They say you always find the best jobs when you already have a job.Stay positive and keep looking for a job.Summer is always a good season for finding a job. Many people leave the country and there will be more vacancies. In what field are you? Have you tried linked.in or becoming a member in Internations.org?

Here is the explanation video from Emirates on what the slogan means: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RY0fWKFm6s&feature=related Personality I find it a bit wage and I have a marketing and advertising background.A slogan should be very clear and it usually doesn't require explanation to be understood:D:D If it need a story video then it is not a very strong slogan in my opinion.

So glad you are alive...very scary! The idea of making it known to others that you love them and being open with those possitive feelings are great thoughts that you have recieved...grabbing every day as if your last is a good one too! Swimming with dolphins...wow..just do it! And fall in love...perhaps you'll meet a fellow dolphin swimmer...how great could that be! Good luck precious one! I was talking to my cousin about this last night. That I want to fall in love again.I believe being in love gives life a stronger purpose.

I have been having the same problem with my dog for years now.I have changed here bed many times and it hasn't worked.I buy here beds with removable cushions that are easier to wash. The worst part is that when I wash her bed and put tit back she pees on it on the same day.I thought it might be a territory behavior, but there is no other dog in the house.I really hope someone with experience can come up with a solution here too.

http://www.facebook.com/iranzamindubai?ref=ts Heard very good reviews from Iranians, so the food must be authentic. Out of curiosity , why are there colored eggs, garlic and fish bowl on the table set up for Nourouz? Also is that a bowl of chocolate custard on the top left of the pic (yum!)? Too many landlords are not actually in Dubai. This can give a lot of problems for tenants especially if the landlord doesn't fulfil his obligations when it comes to payments. Hope it will be solved soon, it seems the tenant ends up being the one in the middle.. You are absolutely right. But even the landlords have a point. They bought the flat with shared swimming pools , full time security and maintenance. The pools are closed , we don't have watchmen and the building is always messy and trash everywhere. Why would the landlord pay service charges when they don't receive any services?? At the end most of the flats are rented and us the tenants are paying the price.

I would write them an email and tell them how I felt and would tell them that I miss them.Maybe there is a misunderstanding. If you have been friends for 9 years I dont think you should give up on it so easily. After all you know them really well and the fact that you are asking for advice shows that you miss them and are not happy with the situation.Once I had a similar experience with my cousin who has been my closest friend since childhood.I sent her an email questioning why she had not contacted me for a long time and when she replied I found out she had been going through severe depression for months and was not in the right mood to stay in contact.
