Thanks DebK, that is exactly what I wanted to know. Mrsw2 thanks for the advice and I wasn't quite sure if it was known at all, it was hard to ascertain much from their website which doesn't seem to have the usual area on admissions.

As most admissions for September are closed, we were given the suggestion to try Sek International school opening in September ( http://www.sek.es/index.php?section=colegios/qatar#en). Have any of you in Doha heard anything about this school?
